I recently tried FunBurger in Simi Valley for the first time, and I can't believe I hadn't been here sooner! The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. The atmosphere was super cute, welcoming, and made for a great dining experience. They also have breakfast options as well. I ordered the chili cheeseburger with the house fries, and let me tell you they did not disappoint. The burger was juicy, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor. The house fries were hands down the best fries I've had in a very long time, including their ranch!!!!! Absolutely DELICIOUS! On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. I'll definitely be coming back and bringing my friends and family with me. This place deserves so much more recognition. Simi Valley needs more local restaurants like FunBurger. If you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out! read more

I decided I wanted a burger in that moment and so I wended my way over through all the cars in that crowded parking lot. We wanted breakfast at noonish on a Saturday, that was the wrong call, we tried a few places and everything was packed. Decided to try FunBurger and this was one of the best decisions we've made in quite a while. Did you know they have limited breakfast hours? I didn't. Mon - Thurs 11am to 2pm and Fri - Sun 9am to 2pm, very nice. Their breakfast burrito is one heck of a bargain. It's big, tasty, and was served very hot fresh by the happy staff. The breakfast sandwich is also a great deal. Oh, and don't forget the French Toast strips, crispy and quite yummy. Just going back through some photos to add to my last Funburger review. Unfortunately, the app won't let me just add the pictures without also writing an updated review. Because I'm feeling generous, and I do wish them well, I'll up my last review from two stars to three. Dear Hubby and I have been to this burger place many times. It used to be a joy to go as a place for us to watch the 49ers play football if they weren't on a national broadcast. Also, they were one of the few places in town that offered vegan cheese and vegan milkshakes. Which was amazing for me! I have an allergic reaction to cows' milk cheeses, cream, etc. It's been really hard to have to avoid those tasty dairy ingredients. Whenever we went to Funburger I would order a cheeseburger, and often a shake. They may have gone through an ownership change, because these options are now gone from the menu options. As I mentioned, the last time we stopped in they didn't have enough options for satellite TV providers to play the 49ers game so we moved on to another restaurant. We wish them success and appreciate all the good meals and good times we had in the past, but it doesn't seem like they have what we're looking for now, at least at this time. read more

The inside of the place is decorated nicely, but certain areas feel like they haven't been cleaned in so long. My girlfriend told me the light switch didn't work in the women's bathroom so she had to use her phone light to look around & get to a stall, and the toilet she got to was incredibly dirty. Other than the off-putting story, she also mentioned the staff that was in there too (who had informed her the bathroom light doesn't work) just scurried out of the stall from flushing and clearly didn't wash hands!! Makes me wonder how do they do cleaning maintenance in there?? The floors and tables and booths didn't look clean either, but we did see staff try to spray down some tables at least. The burgers came out okay, to me they weren't worth almost $20 especially with the patties looking and tasting very subpar. There really is only burgers and fries to order here, and a few salad options. The ingredients were okay, and honestly the only plus here is the small arcade section (which I didnt try out) and the multiple big screens showing different sports. I came here by myself & ordered the caliburger with onion rings that was delicious. The place has a huge projector screen inside & outside which is awesome especially for those who love watching sports. I really enjoyed it even though I dont follow sports. .And for those who want beer or wine this is the place to enjoy it with your food. Its kid friendly with some games to keep them entertained. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. They have a ton of television sets. The NFL playoff game on as well as a couple of basketball games. I ordered a burger, to go and a liquid candy beer to quench my thirst as I waited for my burger. They have a lot of beers on tap. As I sipped my beer I noticed an employee making their ranch dressing. This was a good sign. Making your own sauces and opposed to just buying them shows quality. Burger was ready and I finished up my beer. Once home the burger was good size, was well seasoned and tasty. The chipotle sauce on the side had a nice touch of heat. This place is awesome to watch a game, the outdoor patio has a huge TV and so does the inside. The decor is really chill and different from other places, it feels more like Austin, TX. The service is great, everyone was nice and they checked up on us to see if everything was tasting well. The beer selection is nice too and they have a bar you can sit on. The food was the reason I'm giving this a 4 and not a 5, it's good it's just not great and doesn't stand out. I will come back again though to eat, drink, watch a game and relax. read more

Had an amazing classic burger meal today, for $10.50 for the single or $12.50 for the double, super reasonable in today's economy. There was a hint of a smell from the bathroom, but the food more than made up for it. I chose to sit at the bar area 3-5 persons can fit comfortably, but I had it all to myself. I enjoyed some deep fried mushrooms as well and reminisced of the avocado fries they had a long while ago. The staff was quick, personable and handled many obstacles in short order and returned to talk making my meal complete. We opted for a bbq burger, so cal chicken sandwich and split avocado fries. My little one had the mini nuggets. The burgers were very good just a little messy (not a bad thing). Ok, all in all it's a great place for burgers and here's why: The burger itself was juicy, good quality meat, and had fresh veggies. It was flavourful too. The onion rings were fried perfectly . You can tell this place uses fresh quality ingredients and products just by taking the first bite. I love how its independently owned and how they invest in their business by looking at paper they use to wrap their items and the bags they use to put the stuff in. Very nice people, very clean and welcoming environment and establishment. Will definitely come back again The only thing missing, as a suggestion, is for them to have daily combo specials. $13 for a burger and onion rings seem to be just a tad bit over. But again, they use quality ingredients. I would say, help the hard working American families by offering daily combo specials, that way it doesn't seem too much for a family. Me and my family love to come here if there's a game or just to get some good food every now and then! Everything is delicious. They have great vegetarian options that are actually good and even though it can be pricey I would say it is worth it. You can't find fast food/sit down of this tier in simi valley.
