Just nasty, the Lemon wings were absolutely disgusting. I would NEVER eat here again.

Just happened to be in the area and decided to try this place since we had never been before…read more Walked into a delicious aroma, and knew right away we had made the right choice. I chose the Chicken Koobideh which was so juicy, I was shocked! I've had good Koobideh, but never this juicy and tender! Strong flavor, and hint of saffron, a true delight. I also ordered the Ghormeh Sabji - which is a soya (dill) based green stew with meat and beans, and when it first comes to the table, you're thinking this looks and smells like henna paste, but the taste is so beautifully complex - savory, bitter, buttery, and pure deliciousness in every bite!!!!! A must try for something different. Husband ordered the lamb shank, and it was tender and fall off the bone! The meat was soft and unctuous. It was served with this roasted garlic bulb that was roasted to perfection, taking the harshness of the garlic away and replacing it with a soft, buttery, jammy garlicky goodness that is to DIE for!!!! Lastly, my mom got the lamb and beef Koobideh and said it was soft and juicy as well. After food, we had their tea and it is absolute perfection. I take mine sweetened, but even unsweetened my mother found it perfect! Lastly, don't sleep on the DOOGH! That's that fermented yogurt drink that is tart, salty, and super refreshing! I almost didn't even wanna tell yall about it, but I reminded myself that gatekeeping is a cardinal sin! And finally, the ambiance and the service is AMAZING. So gracious, so soft spoken, so generous and just kind to boot. The food is delicious but I'd come back just to see these smiling faces!!!

What a true gem of a find!…read more This is a small place in a small strip mall. The manager and the food are outstanding! My husband ordered a chicken and rice dish, I ordered the vegan dill rice. Very few places serve dill rice, but it delicious and one of my favorite foods. I rarely cook dill rice, because of how time-consuming preparing dill is to separate from the stems. The manager came by to ask how our food was, to which I replied, "Excellent, but this dill rice has no lima beans or fava beans." He informed me that he has had customers that are allergic to lime beans, but is happy to include them if they are requested when ordering. He also said that they will make any menu item modification when requested. They have a menu board as well as QR code menus. Top place for people of any dietary need/choice!

This is a nice, small Middle Eastern market compared to Souq Fresh Market in Lombard. Souq is very big. This market has a lot of unique Middle Eastern snacks that I've never seen before along with a kitchen that you can order lunch and dinner from. Lunch is served 10 am - 2 pm. I believe dinner is served from 2 pm to 9 pm. Don't quote me on the end dinner times. They have 3 tables that you can eat at. I came after 10:20 am and I ordered the chicken kufta lunch special, two different kinds of samosa, and kebabs. Prices were cheap, I got all of this for $25. They also have an area where you can get some fresh meat and deli items. Staff was friendly. Overall 4 out of 5. If they fixed the kebabs, it would easily be a 5. -chicken kufta lunch special 5 - he made this fresh. You get one pita bread with it. Meat was soft and tender. The rice and salad were very tasty. Huge portion. -samosas 5 - I got one beef and one potato. They were both delicious. -kebabs 3.5 - he gave me two big kebabs but they did not taste freshly made. I'm no stranger to kebabs and I usually like my kebabs to be tender and juicy. These were semi tough and kind of dry inside. I can see the spices in them but they would taste even better new.

I went to Naf Naf for the first time a couple of years ago but didn't find it to be all that great…read moreso I just kind of wrote it off. Well I found myself by the location in Naperville the other day after grabbing a boba drink at Vannie's and the aroma in the air hit me just right. I saw that they had a free fries or drink promotion if you downloaded their app and I figured might as well get something to fill me up since I already had a drink in hand. I downloaded the app and looked over the menu. Their new protein wraps sounded interesting but since the customization on those is limited I went with a build your own bowl. I went with spicy hummus and rice as the base with Moroccan sauce, chicken shawarma, chopped salad, cabbage, sumac onions, pickles, lettuce. I liked that the s'kug and harissa hot sauces were available to add on the side and that the bowl comes with a pita if you want. I added the Naf fries as my free item. First thing I noticed when I grabbed my order was just how hefty the bag felt. I could tell I had a nice serving of food just from the weight but I figured it'd be mostly rice. As I dug through the bowl I was very pleased to find that it was actually perfectly balanced with good amounts of everything throughout. The bowl had so much in it in fact that I was able to share a third of it with my parents to try when I got home and still have a generous amount leftover for myself to enjoy. Bette than the portions was the great taste of everything. The chicken shawarma meat is nicely seasoned and combined with the spicy hummus and Moroccan sauce to already give the bowl great flavor but being able to add the harissa and s'khug to different bites made it all the better. All the produce tasted fresh and crispy too. Loved the pickles and the fries are really good too. Although the size of the fries seemed like a small amount when I first saw them I did enjoy how crispy and tasty they were so their price is somewhat justified. If they can consistently provide this food experience then Naf Naf will definitely turn me into a regular.

Well we're at 95th street n 59 and the construction is a bear. I insisted my wife battle the traffic n make the journey. Took forever to get there n just as much time to get home. Ordered enough food for family of 4. Couple things - 2 Chicken Shawarma. Our go to. Well 2/3rds of the way in to my pita I asked my wife to make sure it was chicken. I opened up the rest of my sandwich n barely ANY chicken. Super disappointed. On top of missing the homemade chips! It'll be a longgggggg time before we go back.

At dinner, we shared the sausage appetizer - so tender and delicious! One of us had the seafood main course, which was huge and filled with so many different types of seafood and fish. We also had the chicken souvlaki, which is amazing. During our brunch, we shared the saganaki and pita -- the saganaki here is not to be missed. We also shared a delicious lamb burger that was tender, juicy and served with unique toppings. The accompanying Greek potatoes were also unique and very tasty. The service is always excellent here. There is also indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor seating has beautiful views. Reservations are not always necessary, but much more so on weekends. Love Vasili's!

The restaurant was half empty, with plenty of open seating both inside and outside, and there appeared to be 3-4 servers standing around with very little to do. Despite that, they refused to seat our party of six. I'm sure one of those servers would have appreciated our business and the gratuity that came with it. Unfortunately, it felt like the manager was more interested in proving a point than taking care of customers. Definitely not the kind of service I expected.
