Beef Tenderloin Kabob plate, so flavorful!!
    Araceli D.

My husband and I were in the area & after looking on Yelp for a little bit we decided on Flame Kabob Grill. Wow!!! We tried their combination kabob plate and the beef tenderloin kabob plate. We also got an order of falafels. Everything was so flavorful, even on its own. The rice 10/10, the chicken kabob 10/10, beef 10/10 and the falafels with the hummus was DELICIOUS!!! We will def be back! The customer service was also great. The place is nice and clean, plenty of seating area. On our way out we decided to try their chocolate cake, it was soooo good!

First time eating here and wow. These kebabs have great flavor. Tried one chicken and one beef. The chicken is a little better because it has a little more char, which gives it a bit more flavor. Will have to try the other kebabs on future visits. Glad we finally tried this place. It will be added to our local eatery rotation. Delicious.

Yes, you should eat here. The food is great. We had the chicken, beef and flaming chicken kebab plates. The plates come with a salad, rice, pita, and garlic sauce. all the meats are good but i would recommend the flaming chicken (has a little spice to it) or chicken. Everything is fresh and I cannot mention enough how good each item tastes on its own or mixed together. The staff is super friendly, and the place is clean. It is a casual place for a meal. We will be back to try more!

    Gyro sandwich

Went here for lunch with coworkers. It wasn't crowded but the workers looked busy. I decided to go with the gyro sandwich with a side of fries. The food came out in a reasonable time and I ate at the location. There is plenty of seating to dine in. The sandwich was loaded with gyro meat with a small pita and very little vegetables. I can't complain about the portion of meat but I wouldn't classify this as a sandwich lol. I do wish the ratio of meat to pita and vegetables was better. Regardless, the meat was tender and flavorful. The taziki sauce was pretty good and complemented well with the sandwich. The fries were slightly overcooked but they were still crispy and nice. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here.

Excellent service delicious food and friendly staff. Love the food you have to try it to like it.

Pork Kabob plate, two kabobs, rice pita and salad. Second time here. Not fancy, but a delicious meal.

I've been having some hearing issues lately, and the restaurant was extremely loud. We politely asked our waitress if we could move to the other room so I could hear better. She simply said, "No, it's closed," and then walked away before we could say anything else. We ended up sitting directly underneath the TV, wedged between three very loud tables. We noticed there was an empty area on the other side of the bar, so after waiting until the waitress was finished talking with other customers, my husband politely asked if we could move over there because it was quieter and would make it easier for me to hear. She completely ignored him. He asked again. She looked directly at him and said, "I don't have time for this," and walked away. At that point, we simply got up and left. I own a local business in Yorkville, right down the street from Burnt Barrel, and I would never allow one of my employees to treat a customer this way. We weren't asking for anything unreasonable--we were simply trying to find a quieter place to sit because I was having difficulty hearing. People have bad days, and I understand that. But there is never a reason to dismiss and speak to customers that way, especially when they are being polite. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning. It's a shame because we genuinely liked this place and had always enjoyed coming

It may seem like a local hangout with lots of drinks and basic food. Rowdy's is one of a few bars in this part of town. For sure it's nothing fancy of course. They're known for big ass burgers, and fries covered in stuff. Bar has a couple entrances, only one of which we were able to enter. It's got the rear one, which takes you through the gaming area before the main part. The front entrance was for some reason locked, even though the bar was open at that time. Anyway, they have about what's expected. It's about $7 for a basic cocktail, like with whiskey. Food is a pretty meaty thing with the burgers. They have shit tons of these. It's about $10 for their fries, which come loaded with toppings in baskets. We got a basket of the Sriracha Fries, which are topped with garlic Parmesan which we left off, along with hoisin sauce, jalapeños, onions, red pepper, and sriracha. Filling. These were enough to make a meal to be honest. Got to say it was better than expected. It's located on Bridge Street, amongst the older buildings around here. The poached pears were exquisite. The fresh spinach and thin-sliced pears were the perfect bed (better than arugula would have been) and the crans, feta and crushed nuts were great for balance and texture. But let's talk about that chicken's agave marinade. It was zesty with a slight acidic citrus to balance the sweetness from the pear. The whole deal was delicious. And with the maple-dijon vinaigrette to top it off - well, that topped it off! My buddy got a Hippie Chic sandwich and he liked it very much too. I don't usually write reviews on first visits and certainly never before for a salad but the Vault is a gem that should be on full display, not locked away!

She seemed to enjoy it though both sandwiches were stacked super tall and mine had two huge thick red o ions on it. A bit overpowering but mine was good after that was removed. Brussel sprouts were significantly salty. Wasnt able to get through them. My mom got the fries and tho were standard. She also got a bloody mary. It was alright she seemed to enjoy it. Waitress was a little sarcastic with us for no reason and the plastic and just overall service was unfortunate. It was enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth and I dont plan to return.
