The bartender seemed put off by his question and it left a bad first impression for me. His shift was also ending in 5 minutes and he asked if I wanted to close out my tab.. At that point we had only ordered 1 drink (my drink) since we were waiting for the social hour deals. I decided to transfer my drink to the next staff member since we just sat down. I tried the spicy lychee margarita and I loved it. The balance between spicy and sweet was perfect. We also tried the truffle fries and I really liked them. They were seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also shared a delicious lamb burger that was tender, juicy and served with unique toppings. The accompanying Greek potatoes were also unique and very tasty. The service is always excellent here. There is also indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor seating has beautiful views. Reservations are not always necessary, but much more so on weekends. Love Vasili's!

The restaurant was half empty, with plenty of open seating both inside and outside, and there appeared to be 3-4 servers standing around with very little to do. Despite that, they refused to seat our party of six. I'm sure one of those servers would have appreciated our business and the gratuity that came with it. Unfortunately, it felt like the manager was more interested in proving a point than taking care of customers. Definitely not the kind of service I expected.

The lady (who I believe is Yola) told me they planned to rotate dishes and will include various Asian dishes, like Thai food. Today they had fried rice, crispy noodles, shrimp, fried chicken drumsticks/wings, chicken lollipop, and diced chicken & potatoes. They even had duck! It all looked good, but I decided to try fried rice with the diced chicken & potatoes, along with a few pieces of chicken lollipop (which is like fried chicken on a stick, or bone). I brought the food to my parent's house for a family dinner. I really enjoyed the food. The fried rice wasn't out of this world, but the chicken lollipop was really good and the chicken & potato dish was pretty good. I love Asian food, so I'm stoked about having a halal option. The food was sold by weight, and I feel we got a decent value. This isn't a place you can go to for a nice dinner out, but a good takeout option. Looking forward to trying other dishes here.
