I have been here before and loved the food! The falafel pita is always so delicious. However, this time I got the Opa Fries - I have had them before and enjoyed them so was really looking forward to it. I got my order to go and opened it not even 5 minutes later. The fries were so mushy and soggy. It was gross. I didn't even eat them. I was really expecting fresh fries. We discovered this gem by chance! Totally amazing! Fresh food, friendly staff. The falafel appetizer came wth 6 pieces and two Tzaziki sauces. So glad it came with two because it was delicious and perfect for dunking the golf ball sized falafels. It comes wth a few pita bread pieces as well. The Hercules puts was very tasty. The perfect combination of meats and toppings. Would be great if the sauce was spread on the pita (since some bites had no sauce). The seasoned spicy fries were fresh but not at all spicy. Taste: The falafel platter was delicious. I ordered it with a salad and pita + chipotle hummus. Everything was fantastic. The hummus was wonderful and the tzatziki was one of the better ones I've had in the area. Oh, don't even get me started on the baklava. It was the perfect combo of sweet and nuttiness. I really can't say enough good things about Greco Fresh Grille. How have I lived in Charlotte for ten years and never eaten here!? We ordered takeout from the Colony Rd location online and our order was ready and waiting when we arrived to pick it up. I had made a Greek Lemon rice at home to help stretch our takeout meal to feed my five kids, and with that, I will say that three meals plus my rice fed the 7 of us well. The portions were excellent. We ordered a platter with gyro, a platter with shrimp, and a chicken kebab plate. We ordered French Fries as our side with every meal and the garlic rosemary fries were our favorite! Dip those in the tzatziki sauce! Delicious!! Two of our meals also came with Greek salad so we combined those side salads, added some more lettuce and stretched that to serve everyone. Worst customer service ever. I ordered online -brought my order home and they were missing an entree. I called the store, and they told me that they had no record of the order that I was currently holding in my hand. The person who answered was incredibly rude and condescending, and would not give me his name. He was argumentative and said he had no way to refund me for the portion of my order that did not make it into the to go bag. I was charged full price because I had to order through the clover app, but now there is no way to get refunded for the food that they did not include. read more

I suspect the food is marinated with a lot of sale so it doesn't help when you ask them to lower the salt: the meat contains too much salt. What a sunny, pleasant little place! Have eaten here several times and have been satisfied with food, service and atmosphere each time. The dining area has white booths and lots of natural light. You order at the counter and find a booth on your own. My wife and I have gone simple each time though, choosing gyros, humus and lemon-oregano fries from their menu options which include all the usual Greek fare. The gyros are tasty, but in all honesty, just average to good when compared to the competition which has suddenly flooded into the south Charlotte area. The lemon-oregano fries tend to be a little wet but are still very good. The salads are large and flavorful. As far as the pitas and humus go, we've been spoiled by a couple of competitors that serve up freshly baked bread continually. First time trying out this establishment. Upon walking in we were welcomed into the clean and nicely decorated restaurant. Although our order wasn't correct, the food was delicious. We had placed an order for takeout for two chicken gyros and one traditional but opened the bag when we got home to see one chicken and two traditional gyros. I just ended up sharing the chicken with my husband and my brother just had two for himself (lol) as we don't eat lamb. I'm looking forward to trying other items on the menu in the future. read more

From appetizer, through salads and onward into plates and meal you will find well put together meals. All the traditional Greek eaten by hand items like Dolmades, gyros, kabobs, pitas, falafels and burgers of which one is a lamb burger. These hand eaten items can come as platters so need to be consumed sitting down. Spinach pie and humus come to mind. It is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Portions are reasonable. The location is in the Harris-Teeter shopping center which also contains Brooklyn Pizza, a Japanese place, Mexican place, Chinese restaurant and others, so if you are looking for something different and good, give the Greek place, ie. Greco Fresh Grill a try. I think that all of their offering are good, even thought I have not eaten all they have, but I have eaten enough of a variety to make that leap of opinion. read more

This is one of the best and underrated restaurants in Charlotte. I drive 20 minutes just to eat here and I don't drive more than 2 minutes for anything else. This is the third Greco location we have visited. The food at each is relatively consistent, which is to say good. We found the service for a weekday lunch to be friendly and helpful. This location has ample seating and the size of the shopping center makes parking a breeze. My favorite falafel was crispy on the outside and warm and tasty within. My wife enjoyed her traditional gyro as well. One thing we really enjoy about Greco Fresh is the add-on French fry flavors. They add another dimension and set their fries apart from other places. I think the spit must be located somewhere other than the restaurant because the meat did not seem fresh. I wanted this place to be better than the first time I visited but it was worse. The soup was the furthest from Greek avgolemono. It was watery, the egg had separated, just plain bad! The homemade baklava was so dry it fell apart when you took one bite. The so-called lamb wrap was a combination of beef and lamb. I get it, a gyro, but the menu claimed lamb with no mention of beef.
