My go to at any Greek place is a classic salad with gyro meat. This sets the tone for everything else they might offer. Their salad was fantastic! While the serving of lettuce may not be as much a other places, the ingredient quality and the dressing is really good. Some Greek salads are very coarse chopped to where you have to do your own additional cutting, but this place chops it all in perfect bite sizes. The gyro meat on top was grilled up and that made the flavors come out really nicely. The portion of gyro meat is also generous. I'm usually a "dressing on the side" person so I can regulate the amount, but they did it well here. They tossed the salad in dressing - it was the right ratio to salad components. Really well done! If you're dining in, the person will come serve your table and he was very nice and friendly. The dining room has some worn out chairs - but who cares! The food is on point! read more

This is truly a hidden gem in Henderson, located in a small strip mall next to Sunset Station casino. Food and service were amazing! We had Greek salad with skewers of grilled chicken and ground beef kefta. Also ordered a plate of grilled shrimp and lemon potatoes, added lamb kabob skewer. And baba ganoush appetizer. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned and tasted amazing. Large portions, plenty of leftovers. Very reasonable prices for food quality. Thankfull to the person that recommended this place. Randomly started talking to a customer sitting next to me in a hair salon, turns out he is Greek and knows where to find the best tasting Greek food in Henderson. I was in the area and decided to go for Greek food after running around. Initially, I had plans to go to a different place, but as I drove by, I decided to stop here at the last minute. I'm glad I made that choice. My mom and I shared the tzatziki platter, which was served with pita bread and pita chips. The tzatziki was incredibly fresh and delicious. Next time, I'll ask for extra garlic because I'm a huge fan of garlic in that sauce and it was lightly added. For my main dish, I ordered the traditional gyro. It was a perfect combo of shredded gyro, onion, lettuce, and a garlic sauce. My mom ordered the Spartan fries with chicken. Man... I don't have pictures but trust me when I say the food here is delicious. I wasn't expecting a sit down restaurant compared to other fast casual Greek Mediterranean restaurants. My wife and I order the steak bowl and chicken plate and both meats were tender and flavorful. The plate came with rice, a vegetable skewer and some tzatziki sauce. All good! The bowl came with vegetables like a salad and pita for both meals. We topped it off with baklava which was also delicious. Great hidden gem! The food is wonderful !!! The staff is amazing!!! It is a sit down restaurant, not too big, not too small either, decent size of the restaurant, very cozy and authentic feel. The restaurant is very nice, clean and inviting.( new owner has remodeled the place) . Atmosphere is quaint and with Greek music for white noise in the background playing takes you on a journey to Greece. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. We were greeted warmly when we have walked in. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Great vibes and great atmosphere inside the restaurant. The food was served quickly and it was super delicious. We have tried a little bit of everything on their menu. They offer a wide selection of traditional Greek appetizers , Gyro, Salads, Rice Bowls, Veggie options and then big selection of Souvlaki plates , fries and other side dishes. Our favorite was : house specialty Lamb Shank and Souvlaki chicken plate was so good too . Honestly, everything was so tasty and fresh. First time here. We came here on a Saturday at 11:30am and they were not busy. For dine in, just take a seat and then they'll come and get your order. My boyfriend ordered the Traditional Greek Gyro which came with a side of french fries. I ordered the Gyro Plate and requested no side salad. Both had good flavor and we thought they were great. We had to make The Greek Bistro one of our favorites in our rotation because the food was DELICIOUS . I ordered the Shrimp Greek plate which was absolutely delicious. Even the Greek salad was delicious. I love olives so it was a special treat. Melissa remembered us from our previous visit, which made it more special. This gem has been around for quite sometime in Henderson but I was unaware of it til recently. My lady and I were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food as well as the family friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious, we ordered the moussaka and the keftadakia plate. Both were so hearty and seasoned so well. The dessert of the pistachio baklava ice cream was also delicious. I think this will place is hit or miss. Everything on the Mezza plate was very good, except for the spanakopita. And that's probably just personal preference that I like more cheese and less spinach. The pastitsio, however, was terrible. It was overcooked to the point of being burnt on top, and the Bechamel was almost chunky instead of creamy. Additionally, the macaroni/beef layer was bland, and the tomato sauce was watery like the liquid from a can of tomatoes. Since it also tasted like it came from a can, maybe it did. But the customer service received today 8.4.25 @11:30am made us wait, asked for the menu and was told to wait. So we've been going to this restaurant since its opening date years ago. Me and my wife loved it so much it became a regular thing for us. For years it was perfect. We stopped in today for a late lunch early dinner but it was just not the same. New owners different menu and sadly it seems different ingredients . They have one hostess who services everyone and sadly you don't get the attention you expect. She didn't seem very knowledgeable either about the menu or what is expected when it comes to guest relations. The food was average being around. 3/ 5 and the service was maybe 2/5. We waited for about 30 minutes or so for 2 salads and a chicken skewer. The gyro meat was chunk and not shaved like it usually was before or like it is every where else you go. The chicken skewer was overcooked and dry. The salad was drenched in olive oil. The tzatziki sauce was very chunky more than normally. Also the interior decor was not horrible it was extremely hot inside I think the air conditioning was not working because they had all three fans on. I enjoyed it but it is clear it has gone downhill and sadly I don't think we could return. We will miss you. I hope you can make some adjustments to this establishment because it was a wonderful memory me and my wife shared before we had our daughter. It's been a long time since we ate here, but I don't remeber the moussaka and the spanikopita being so delicious as they were this time. Maybe the chef or the recipes have changed. Those dishes were as good as the ones I remember from decades ago in Chicago. Too often moussaka in Las Vegas/Henderson is mostly potatoes(?) and not much eggplant or bechamel; this time was perfect. And the spanikopita was a tasty surprise since it had lots of cheese inside and outside. The soup was nice but next time I want to try their salad. A nice Greek salad is also hard to come by in Nevada. read more
