We've been sitting here 30 minutes, they took beverage order, nothing here yet, could not possibly be slower, I wish I could comment about the food, but we don't have any yet. Other tables have given up and left. I am wondering if there is a McDonald's. nearby. Horrible service, that trumps everything else. If the food ever shows up, I will let you know. Not looking promising. Food finally showed up, cold prime rib, lukewarm asparagus and frigid fries, yummy ..

I ordered the soup of the minute (Broccoli cheddar) which was really good. For the main course I ordered the Halibut full portion and it was okay in taste, but I liked the Barley Rissoto and the asparagus combination. There was not many servers and because of that the wait time was bit longer. The ambience is okay, nothing to highlight or not any downside.

I ordered the ribeye through room service and it was scorched. It would save them so much trouble if they used an oven proof digital thermometer. It's not difficult to learn how to cook steaks correctly.

Forgive me, we we're hungry and split a burger!

Ambiance and service were wonderful. Our server was attentive and truly did a great job. This is a resort, so the food is pricier. No surprise there. We chose a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was a delicious burger but the bun was burned and the burnt bun took over the flavor profile. Truly that was the only difference between me giving four stars versus three. I can't stand burnt toast, and evidently neither a burnt bun. So this may be a personal thing with me! Other than the burned bun, it was a good experience and I would recommend eating here.

Great service, but no breakfast after eleven. Upscale lunch menu.

Steak filet was top quality perfection with red onion marmalade and potato fries. Dessert was delicious Espresso Mousse to share. Lovely atmosphere and service was attentive.

Tried all the restaurants at this resort, and the food wasn't bad at all. Alot of negative reviews here, but I had a great experience. Service was great as the staff was friendly. They have a lot of choices here and are busy during breakfast. Eggs Benedict was simple and tasted well. Also, potatoes were soft and seasoned well.

Rick's Cafe is located inside the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort. The restaurant has great ambiance but at the time of my visit, the restaurant had mechanical problems and the menu was limited to 4 items. The service was great but the food was just ok. Later on that night while in the lounge area watching football, we ordered chicken fingers and fries and the breading on the chicken was too thick. Maybe it was just bad timing and unfortunate. If I am checking IG I to the Westin/area I'll consider giving them another try.

The ambiance was ok. Quiet, clean, and looked pretty. But the food was a huge issue. There were only two families in the restaurant, including us, but it still took 30-40 minutes to get out our food. That's was hard on the kids to wait that long esp after a long drive to the hotel. But our waitress was nice and accommodating. When the food did come, our burgers were burnt. My husbands was still somewhat edible, plus he was really hungry, so he ate his. But mine wasn't edible. It just tasted burnt. And research has shown that eating super burned food can contribute to cancer--if you do it a lot. Thus, I prefer to just not eat that. Plus it tasted gross. When we told them, they took off the burger and just charged us for the side salad that I added on for $3. I ate that because I was super hungry too! The burger was $21 so I'm glad we asked them to remove it. My husbands burger was $18, and my sons grilled cheese and fries was $10. Pricey for what you get, but it's a hotel restaurant so we expected as much. But did expect a bit faster and better quality food for such high prices.

I ate here twice during a recent stay. We had the breakfast buffet which was great since it was included in our stay. They have a lot of breakfast options including an omelet station. We also came here for lunch. The flatbread we got was not great but the Asian chicken salad was really good. The service was also very friendly.

Came here twice as I was a guest in the Westin. The atmosphere is nice, bright and welcoming. First time was evening and I just ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and some broccolini, and a glass of wine. There were two large parties of about 7-10 guests and two other tables of two, and then me. The wine took 15 min to come, and the salad took 40. I was thinking maybe it was grilled chicken or something, but no. The chicken was as cold as the lettuce it sat in. I ended up just getting it to go. It tasted fine. Neither great nor bad. Second time I came was for the breakfast buffet. I was seated and then shown where the food was. There was a great selection from eggs bacon sausage etc to pastries, bagels, oatmeal etc. Lovely fresh fruit section, lots to choose from. Sadly I didn't take a photo!! Not sure why Staff was always very pleasant, it just seems maybe under staffed. Would possibly return for the buffet but not any time where I would have to order and wait.

Enjoyed lunch at Ricks's Cafe. The Rick's Salad was delish, but nothing compares to this delicious Peach Cobbler Bread Pudding. A must try! Such great service from Renee.

Some really bad reviews in here but I had a very good experience. Yes it's one of the only food options if you aren't dining in the nicer restaurants. Is it the best food I've ever had? No. Is it overpriced because of the hotel? Sure! But it's good and the service was great! I was able to place an order to go so I could take it back to my room and it took a whopping 10 minutes. I had the Beyond burger and it came with fries (see photo). Really good! Wish I had known about the fries because I would have asked for ketchup or ranch. the fries were so good, great flavor. I also had the half order of the garlic mac & cheese and I didn't love it. There are actual chopped pieces of garlic in it. Sooooo many pieces. Like a sliver of garlic in every bite. I picked them all out. The pasta and cheese were great though. For dessert I got the peach cobbler bread pudding and it came with vanilla ice cream. It was great!

    Veronica M.

The buffet was ok, a little pricey for the selection and quality you got. The omelet was good and the guy making the omelet was a hoot and added to the experience. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful and I would go back for a different meal or maybe just order breakfast from the menu instead of the Buffet

The restaurant was extremely clean, and everything tasted fresh and made with quality ingredients. I ordered the Meráki Signature Bowl with ancient quinoa and added the salmon fillet. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and the entire bowl was fresh, flavorful and filling. We also tried the spicy feta spread with grilled pita, which was delicious. My wife ordered the Steak Kalamakia, and the steak was tender, well seasoned and served with rice, Greek salad, tzatziki and pita. The only downside was the price. Adding the salmon to the bowl alone was nearly $15, and our meal for two ended up close to $80. That's considerably more than we usually spend at other high quality counter service Greek and Mediterranean restaurants around town. The food was excellent, and we would definitely return, just probably more sparingly because of the cost and the 45 minute drive from our house. They also have a location closer to us in Centennial that we'll likely check out. Overall, this is a solid restaurant that's absolutely worth a visit. Just keep an eye on the total because the bill adds up quickly.

The Yellowtail was a bit strange in texture. It seemed that it was cooked instead of being raw like form. Maybe it was sitting in the juices too long. Mind you, I just had some yellowtail crudo the night before at a different restaurant. I guess thats how they prepare it. I truly enjoyed the steak but the potatoes were the highlight. Apparently they have never experienced a Basque restaurant, where you sit with complete strangers and then leave as friends. Any way, seating is the same. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, with a Happy Birthday, to being seated in a secluded corner next to a little water feature that added extra ambiance! Our server immediately came over and greeted us with a bowl and warm flowery water to rinse our hands. He explained how the courses worked, and asked if we'd like cocktails- we had the white wine seasonal sangria and it was delicious! Fresh and fruity! The dancers came out before our first course and the music was really loud- like thumping my seat loud... probably the only thing I would have like done differently. The first course came out and it was shrimp scampi with homemade bread - the shrimp was enough to serve at least 3 people- and it was tasty with lots of flavor! The next course was a lentil soup , served in a bowl with no utensils, and we were told to drink out of the bowl. This was also very flavorful! It was filling so I only took a couple sips of mine to leave room for the food to come! The next course they brought out was a tower of Hummus Baba Ghannouj Moroccan style olives, cucumbers & carrots, along with crispy pita Next was the Beef Kabob served on a skewer stabbed in a pineapple with dry ice for a spectacular presentation. The meat was so tender you could cut it with the fork! It was so much food it could have fed our family of 4, but it was just me and my husband! The last savory food item was the Moroccan Couscous & Chicken Platter- this chicken was so tender it fell off the bone when I picked it up with my fork- it was deliciously flavorful with middle eastern spices!! And the couscous were cooked perfectly! Lastly, they brought out a desert along with tambourines and drums and bright lights and sang a happy birthday song to me! The cake was not my favorite- but it was cute with a design on top It was a Moroccan pastry stuffed with bananas, nuts & chocolate topped with powdered sugar & cinnamon. They served it along with a sweet hot delicious mint tea! The dancers came out about every 20-30 minutes and they were beautiful and interactive with the crowd, asking diners if they'd like to get up and belly dance with them.... It was very fun to watch! We had a wonderful time, we would definitely go back! Next time on an empty stomach, and with the ability to take our leftovers home!! Highly recommend!!!
