    Lamb platter

I got a lamb platter and it was ok, nice flavor but really, really shredded. I was hoping for it to be sliced, but that shredded so tiny pieces, did not have a great texture, the rice, salad, and pita bread were pretty standards For $20 I expected more.

Summary: had Greek on the street from a food truck and the service was speedy. Food tasted good, but the wrap wasn't actually very feasible to eat while holding because it was so soggy. The flavors were well balanced and good and I'm not sure if it was a one-time thing or not, but my gyro wasn't actually possible to eat in my hands because it was so soggy (not typically what you want to hear for a wrap). The components themselves were good though. The meat was cooked very well and the service was fast. On the pricier end for a wrap, but reasonable given that it's lamb (around 18 bucks) I'd still recommend, but make sure you get a lot of napkins just in case

Lamb-chops are amazing. Seasoned to perfection, medium rare with white rice. Thank me later.

I've frequented the Greek on the Street truck since 2020. If there's a farmer's market or food truck event near you, it's a guarantee this truck will be there. You know the food is good when there's usually a crowd of people at their truck. Any staff member I've interacted with has been upbeat and friendly. You can't go wrong with their gyro or chicken burrito bowls. The gyro slices are pretty big. The chicken is juicy and is seasoned well. I like their fries, but they're best when eaten immediately. If you have a bit of a drive home, they tend to sweat in their container and they become soggy. They definitely don't skimp on the portions. It's enough for two meals. I've also enjoyed their platters. Choose your protein, and it comes with a side greek salad, seasoned white rice, tzatziki and dressing with pita slices. The pita is always fresh and soft. If you like Greek food, do not hesitate to stop by!

In a parking lot full of food trucks, this one had the longest line. I thought I would have to wait a while but when I ordered the gyro platter, they handed it to me right away with the receipt- nice! It was my first time eating it with rice, since I usually get it with a side of fries. Definitely needed more rice or pita since it was saltyyy. Tzatziki could have been seasoned more as well- looked and tasted like plain greek yogurt (I know that's what it is) but it needed more cucumbers, garlic, or something. I was satisfied, but contrary to the other reviews, the portion is just average and the food doesn't stick out.

This is a traditional Greek food truck I love the chicken platter from this food truck. The platter comes with your choice of meat, white rice, salad and pita bread. It's worth the extra $0.50 (per) to get an extra side of dressing and an extra side of tzatziki sauce. I've never complained about waiting for my food, even with long lines the food comes out super fast. I visit this food truck in odenton Maryland at the odenton Firehouse for food truck Thursdays. I've never tried Greek food before this and I can't stop eating it. Everyone is very nice and I'm happy to keep supporting them.

We visited a food truck gathering at a local farm on a Friday. After looking at the list of food trucks attending (and reviewing all their menus) my husband and I settled on Greek on the Street cause it's been forever since we had a falafel. I love me some falafels!! We both ordered Greek falafel bowls which are $9.99 each. They gave you three big balls on top of a bed of rice, tzatziki sauce feta cheese, and a tomato mix. Plus they toss in a few small pita slices. We were served quickly and took it home immediately to enjoy while it was still hot. The flavor was there but the feta cheese over powered all the other flavors because there was so much. I love some feta but not that much! I'm glad I got to try them out after hearing so much about them.

Ordered gyro wrap, ahi tuna wrap and Greek fries. The wraps were delicious but the fries, they were kinda nasty. It was soggy and soaked in way too much oil. Pretty disappointed seeing that people raved about it in the reviews. But...their delicious wraps made up for it.

By far one of the best Gyros you can get anywhere around DELMARVA. From taste to topping to freshness! I count down to Thursdays so I can see them in Odenton.

While at Artscape, I came across the Greek on the Street food truck. With other great choices of food on that strip, it was my winner. At first, I was considering leaving the line because it was so long but I glad I didn't. The line started moving along at the last minute of me debating whether to leave the line. The cashier was friendly and my order was ready in less than 5 minutes. The prices were a lot cheaper than some of the other food trucks. I ordered the gyro pita wrap with feta cheese. Amazing! Best gyro I've ever had. The meat was cooked just right and the tzatziki was really good. I was tempted to get the greek fries but I knew I wouldn't be able to finish both because my stomach is shrinking. Would love to find the food truck again to try them because they looked so good. Greek on the Street definitely has a new fan!

Reasonably priced Greek food. Ordered from their truck for the first time today being as they conveniently park in the lot at my job once a week , and I must say I'm glad I did. I ordered the grilled shrimp platter and it's was delicious. The shrimp are big and grilled to perfection, the platter also comes with rice, pita slices, a Greek salad , and tzatziki sauce, which was worth every penny. I will most definitely be revisiting this truck again , and I highly recommend it.

Dinner was for 25 + people and there was barely enough food for 12. Not that this mattered, as EVERYTHING was inedible and there were no plates, cutlery or napkins provided. I take that back, the store brought $2.00 (price still on) cornbread and $16.00 cake were the ONLY items edible. The Mac and Cheese was dry and bland. I will give them credit for it being both overcooked and undercooked all in the same batch. I'm still trying to make sense of that! The only adjective that even remotely describes this Mac and Cheese is "disrespectful". Like, seriously, the disrespect was 10/10. The chicken was undercooked and bland. How do you make jerk chicken bland and soggy? I'm actually curious. The "blackened" salmon was overcooked yet not blackened, creating another "make it make sense" moment. I immediately spat out the greens. They were undercooked, not under-seasoned but literally "not seasoned". Wait, I take that back too, if you count the dirt and grit as seasoning. They should be ashamed of themselves for ripping people off. Pictures don't lie. The fact that they were sent pictures and still stood behind their product tells you all you need to know. Please, please, PLEASE do not let these people ruin your event and more importantly your special moments and memories. We used Classic to cater our wedding. To be honest, we feel a bit mixed about the experience. TLDR:…read morewe wound up giving four stars because although our bar situation was a disaster, food is more important and the food was better than most other wedding food. The food - as foodies, we felt like Classic gave us very good wedding food (but it fell short of very good restaurant food). During our tasting, we were pretty blown away by the food -- all the flavors were excellent and all the food was perfectly cooked. Day of, a lot of the food was overcooked, and things were under sauced, so we missed a lot of the flavors from our tasting. The food was certainly better than most other weddings I've been to, but if I would have gotten the food at a restaurant I would have been disappointed. I know it's really difficult to cook in bulk. (FWIW though, people really loved the mashed potatoes -- and were still talking about them a week later.) We were also extremely pleased with how Classic handled dietary restrictions. We had a number of people with restrictions, and everyone was able to eat, and no one got sick. They even worked with us to make our whole menu gluten free so that all of our (many) celiac guests could partake. The drinks - our drinks were a disaster. And I think part of this is because our catering manager switched just a few months before the wedding. Our original catering manager had allowed us to create our own cocktail recipes. We love mixology so it felt very fitting for our wedding. We wanted our wedding to feel like a cocktail bar and not just have the standard wedding cocktail. However, our new catering manager pretty much lost her mind when she heard this, saying it's never done. Our conversations were weird, and we never figured out what the issues were so we assumed it was reluctance to do something different and thought they'd figure it out. However, it seems the issues were the bartenders can barely make a drink. Although we sent VERY specific recipes, i think only one of the bartenders followed them. The first drink I was given when I came down to my cocktail hour was supposed to be a lavender chamomile play on a French 75. But what I was actually given was lemon juice, soda, and gin. I literally spit it out, and had a mild panic attack that my guests were being served undrinkable drinks for our whole cocktail hour. It turns out, that only one bartender was making undrinkable drinks (and they continued to for most of the evening). Another one was making ok drinks, and one was making drinks correctly. No one could remember which bartender was making which drinks, so everyone remarked how inconsistent our drinks were. A number of times people had to toss drinks because they picked the wrong bartender. I was also pretty pissed that although we had confirmed with our planner and classic a half a dozen times that they would pass drinks during cocktail hour, they never did. Afterwards my planner said it was because the drinks were too complicated. But they could have passed wine, or beer, or prebatched drinks (which we thought they were doing). We really didn't want a line at the bar, and there was one, so a month later, I'm still fuming about the disaster that was the bar. I think had we had more time, or better communication from the new catering manager, we could have worked something out that would have worked for us and them. But, instead, trying not to piss us off, I think she gave in knowing they couldn't hold up their end of the bargain. The service - the service (aside from the bar and our catering manager) was good. All the catering staff were very kind, and rushed like crazy to finish our room flip. We appreciated that they designate one server just for the bride and groom! The process - Our process was a bit of a mess because of the catering manager flip. But, were it not for that, I think it would have gone pretty smoothly. Classic are def pros at putting on events. We were happy with the process before the switch. Afterwards, we didn't really jive with the new catering manager, who was much more rigid than the original one. We might have been less off put by this, but, she also wasn't great at communicating the reasons behind her "nos" or "yes, with reservations". Our planner had told us that your classic experience very much depends on your catering manager, and based on our experience with two of them, that seems accurate.

We had an amazing experience working with The Classic Catering People!
