I want to give this place an honest review. This visit was for breakfast, and overall, it was decent. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with a side of hash browns. The omelette was good enough, but I have to be completely honest about the hash browns they were very bland and lacked seasoning. The texture was fine, but I would suggest adding some seasoning during cooking. I think that small change could make them much more appealing to customers. One thing that confused me was the ordering process. When I placed my order in the drive-thru, the employee asked what style of eggs I wanted with my omelette. Since an omelette is already a specific style of egg preparation, I wasn't sure what she meant. Then, when I got to the window, I was asked whether I wanted pickles from a breakfast burrito and whether I wanted potatoes again. I'm not sure if there was some confusion with my order or if they were joking around, but I didn't make an issue out of it. Now that I've finished my breakfast, I'd rate it about a 6 out of 10. That said, I come here often, and there is one item that keeps me coming back: the zucchini. Their zucchini with ranch is an automatic 10 out of 10. In my opinion, it's probably the best thing on the menu, and I highly recommend trying it if you visit. Overall, the breakfast was okay, but the zucchini is definitely the star of the show. I used to love Lucky Greek until a few years ago when the food had gotten kind of "meh", and quite pricey, so I stopped going. Today, I had a powerful craving for my old favorite - a hot roast beef sandwich with BBQ sauce and horseradish, and some onion rings so I decided to give Lucky Greek another chance. The total for the two items was nearly $25. The rings were pretty good, but the serving was enough for at least 4 people. I wish they would offer a lower priced half-order for single meals. The roast beef sandwich was a real disappointment. The meat was very fatty and had a lot of hard gristle. I pretty much had to take the sandwich apart and pull off the objectionable bits which were about 1/5 of the total weight of the meat. The meat flavor was bland and really needed all of the sauces. The bun was kind of smashed and gummy but held together. Sorry to say, but for me, Lucky Greek just isn't worth going to anymore. read more

I've been frequenting this particular Lucky Greek since I was in High School. I just turned 70. I've NEVER had an issue before today. Today I drove through the drive through and ordered what I've ordered easily 500+ times before the Club Sandwich combo. I drove to the window and handed the young man my Credit Card. He asked if I needed a receipt and I said no. The order was ready in 2 minutes and he handed me the bag. I immediately noticed there were no fries, and asked where they were? I was told they didn't come with it! I didn't even no they had that option? So, he offered to make some fries. They would be an additional $5.86. I said OK. At this point, I asked what he had charged me for the sandwich and he said $13.80. He said you should have ordered the combo it comes with a drink! NO KIDDING, I DID order the combo, which I've always ordered every single time. I thought about it and pulled around to speak with the manager. I waited 10 minutes before and a young gentleman in his early 20s greated me with "What Do You Want?" I tried to explain I had just been overcharged, I'd just like my money back! He refused, (after he tried and failed to find my receipts in his system). A minute later he asked if I would I accept a free drink and not bother with a refund. At this point (15+ minutes into this) I said yes, and he handed me the drink. I then asked when his supervisor might be in, and he coldly said HE was the manager, was there anything else? So, while I attempted to purchased a ($18.51 with tax) Club Combo (sandwich+fries+drink) I was sold a sandwich for ($13.80 with tax) and fries ($5.86 with tax) and no drink, which was later hastily offered for "free" 15 minutes (and cold french fries) later. I also asked if he would at least remake the fries and he refused. So I paid $19.66 for an $18.51 order, and was made to feel like an idiot. At least they gave me the "FREE" drink... loll.... UPDATE: I called this evening around 8pm to try and catch an actual manager, or at least get a real manager's name, and a time i might be able to speak with them. The evening manager who answered the phone was polite, but REFUSED to give me his name, or his bosses name, only a hint that I might catch his boss early in the morning or afternoon on a weekday. I left my phone number with him, not holding my breath as I honestly don't think they care or will bother to call. read more

I have always had a great experience. I am obsessed with the zucchini fries here but today I order my zucchini, fries and grilled cheese like I normally do and the top half of my zucchini fries are cold not even slightly. They are cold like they were sitting in a basket just waiting around for a whole Nother batch of warm wants to sit on top. I absolutely love this place! So glad for this little gem that's by my job. We decided to come for lunch and I love their gyro. Everything I've had from here is made fresh and so good. They do charge extra for ranch but it's thick and good so it's worth it. They have inside and outside seating. Lots of parking and they have a drive thru. They have free refills on drinks. I'll NEVER return again. Drove 25 mins 1 way to get Sunday dinner. Their combos are $15-21 dollars a piece. After spending $83 I asked guy in drive thru to double check everything is in there he said "I did sir" Drive 25 mins home and an entire combo is missing. I called asked for a manager he tells me "do you wanna come back and we can make that missing order for you" so do I wanna drive back another 40 mins round trip to get the order while the rest of my family eats together, NO. I don't mind paying the $14.95 + .75 for the additional ranch dressing, but its really sad to see that I just paid to have around 11 small pieces of chicken and green s. There is no boiled egg and they do not offer crackers or pita bread to on the side. I remember that Lucky Greek on McKinley in Corona used to give pita bread or crackers as a side and the chicken used to be a full breast of chicken and then some. Also, at this restaurant they don't sprinkle cheese on the salad they drizzle it. Save your money and go eat at Waba Grill or even at Market broiler. This is one of the best local spots. It's slightly hidden, but once found you will become a regular. It's a burger joint, old fashioned. Cook to order not ready to go type of place. Everything is always hot and fresh. The staff, chefs kiss! Very friendly and I have always been greeted with a welcome and a warm smile. First time trying this after living here for a couple of years it's a few blocks from my house and I always wondered about it, today I ordered a 1/4 combo and here is my honest opinion, great customer service for the most part, very clean inside with clear view of the kitchen which was also very clean, the burger was pretty darn tasty had the perfect char to it and the char taste to go with it, bun was pretty stale ended up heating it up at home to soften it. Overall I was satisfied with the meal and the portion size my only issue is the bun and the burger itself, if you are going to charge $15 for a combo at least use ground beef and not a pre frozen patty use some fresh beef and find a way to Keep buns fresh and I think this place becomes a top burger spot in the IE. read more
