It must be hard in some ways to compete with huge chain stores, but what you get with a smaller independently owned pharmacy is a uniquely personal touch. When you call or come into the store, they know you and ask about your family. When they have had a family misfortune or loss, your caring and concern is returned to them because they have become not only essential service providers, but friends that you care about. Palmer Professional Pharmacy also does drug-compounding, and what is so important to my husband and I is that they provide and make up compounded, and chicken-flavored medications that my pet and former pets have needed.
