My friend and I came here. I'll just say we have to visit again to give it another try! We had a great waitress!

Met a ladies lunch group of .6 here and Allysa was a pro waiting on us and answering questions regarding the menu. It was pretty extensive and I almost missed the lunch deal- 1/2 sandwich with side for $14!! What a deal for a Cardiff crack sandwich and sweet potato fries which I happily paid extra 2$ for. So many choices and all of us left happy and full. You could have a salad, brussel sprouts, or other choices with sandwich. Lots of beer choices of course too. The location is perfect on the corner with ocean breezes coming in and lots of seating. There's garage parking next door and validates tickets which I recommend- especially if here on a Thursday as the street fair tows cars after 1 for the vendors.

Excellent spot for sport, this is my new world cup headquarters.

Just a solid well-run restaurant. I've eaten here four times and it has always been pleasurable. I recommend the blackened mahi sandwich with garlic truffle fries and try the peach cobbler for dessert. Great place to watch sports especially the world cup! Indoor and outdoor seating right in the heart of Oceanside one block away from the beach and strand. Niki was a warm and friendly bartender.

One of the few places open late on a weekday and for all the craft beer lovers, this place has a good variety of local beers that you would definitely enjoy. I was hungry and had to stop by for a bite and since their kitchen was open till 10pm I got a chance to get a bite. They have all the finger foods, burgers, sandwiches and plates here as most brewery style restaurants do. I wanted something a little hearty so I had ordered their Hawaiian Chicken Katsu plate which comes with Rice and Macaroni Salad. The food was alright, the breading was not really the Japanese panko but it's a brewery so it did the job. The place itself is nice, and they have a nice indoor and outdoor area along with their nice bar area. Definitely a place to get some good beers and drinks along with a bite.

The worst experience at any bar ever. I came to Oceanside to work on an interpreter assignment and then I decided to stay and watch Spain-Portugal game. I went to a pizza place and ate and watched first half but due to parking limitation I had to moved my car and so I parked close by this Biergaden and saw the huge screen and also saw the sign coffee outside so assumed they also had coffee drinks. The manager came and I asked for a coffee and told me they only had back coffee but if I went to the coffee shop by the corner and grabbed a coffee there I could come back and he would let me drink it watching the game. I told him I already ate and that only needed a coffee and of it was ok and he told me yes. So I went to the corner shop, got my cappuccino, came back, sat at the bar and already met friendly folks when he came after some minutes of me being there (and I told a waiter sorry I am drinking coffee from outside, your manager said is ok, he smiled and said no problem). Then the manager comes with the menu and told him I am sorry I am not hungry you told me I could be here to finish watching the final part of the game. He told me 'i am running a business here' pretty rude and in front of others and even I completely understand, he misled me to believe I could get something from the outside and come back even when I told him I was not planning to eat...today. It does not mean I was not going to come another day with a bunch of my friends and spend a lot of money in food and drinks. This situation was very embarrassing and won't be coming back. This was an important game in the World Cup and he could have been courteous because is not like the bar was packed and they were mega busy. I am glad that downtown a oceanside is full of plenty cool bars and restaurants that are not acting the same way.

Literally the BEST place to watch sports, there are so many TV's! Been coming here for the World Cup and it's always so fun. I love that they play the sound from the event rather than just music too. The drinks are good, the staff is helpful and always cheerful, you can tell they're all friends and get along. Such a fun vibe always!

    Fajitas

This has been my second time giving this location a try. Great location and lots of TVs to catch any game. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating to put on the game you are wanting to watch. Unfortunately though I have been disappointed in the food order both times. Price doesn't match the quality of food. If I ever go back it will only be for drinks and to watch the game. The meat and shrimp for the fajitas were overcooked and bland. Tortillas were were steal.

    Great happy hour

Went to Biergarten today with a bestie and it was amazing! The food was great and the drinks were awesome. Our server Haley was great and on top of it! Highly recommend to visitors and locals (like me)!

Our family went for lunch and it was a nice day to sit outside as the atmosphere was very inviting. Our waitress Alyssa was beyond helpful in getting us seated and accommodating our kiddos. Alyssa checked in frequently for any necessary requests which was great! Food and drinks were all around delicious. We definitely recommend this for a date night or family outing.

    Inside bar and seating

The old lab turned into beir garden downtown Oceanside. Great atmosphere. lots of food option. Service was great.

    It was raw

Ordered two of the Texas burgers and the bacon was raw. My wife had a bite and was grossed out. I didn't catch it till 3/4 of my burger was gone, hopefully I don't get sick. We did bring it up to the waiter and he just said waived it off. We asked how that specific burger was and he recommended it. He said it was delicious. Also ordered a Shirley temple for my son and tasted like mineral water. Definitely will not be back.

Parking was a little rough and the lot was FULL, but I took that as a good sign I went around 2pm on a Wednesday and there was a nice mix of families, couples, etc. You can sit inside, at the bar, or outside in the sun or shade. I chose outside in the shade and it was quiet, relaxed, and really comfortable. I ordered the Dirty Bird and it was SO good. The chicken was crispy outside, juicy inside, not oily or dry. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy, the fries were nicely seasoned, and it was a good amount of food. They happily put my pickles and hot honey on the side too. I asked for ginger ale and they offered ginger beer instead, which was a pleasant little surprise! The menu has a ton to choose from. I actually wished I had people with me so I could try more things And for my fellow IBS friends, the women's bathroom has TWO stalls. These are important details!! I'd absolutely come back and bring my husband. Although he ate my leftovers, so I'm still a little mad at him.

It took a while to be seated, and a while for our waitress to finally come over. With hungry children, that time is precious to us. The pretzel was honestly awful. Did they change fish? Tasted the same basically. Still amazing as always. We also tried some new dishes: Beef Tartare Chicken Thigh Skewers Green Curry Mussels The Beef Tartare was just okay. It's the only dish I probably would not ever order again. It wasn't bad, but compared to every other banger on the menu, it's last. Something has to be last. The Chicken Thigh Skewers were AMAZING! OMG, so much flavor in the chicken but the sauce really drove it overboard. Wow. These are a must try, you won't regret it. And lastly, the Green Curry Mussels blew us away. I love mussels and always order it whenever I see it on a menu. We devoured all of the mussels (and added the $9 Roti) and even got a container to-go to save the broth, lol. Truly another banger from Dija Mara. I really appreciate that the menu changes periodically without removing the veteran dishes we continue to enjoy. Just want to mention something besides the culinary spectacles. Dija Mara's decor is every bit as memorable as its food. The artwork isn't an afterthought--it's part of the experience. The dining room manages to feel both trendy and intimate at the same time, while the graffiti-covered back wall adds a playful, street-art feel that contrasts beautifully with the polished food and cocktails. The result is a space that feels creative, unpretentious, and genuinely cool. The industrial concrete and reclaimed wood elements give it a modern edge, while the Indonesian-inspired art creates a sense of place that feels completely unique in North County. This is really our happy place and I hope it never changes.

The restaurant was fairly empty although Resy wouldn't take reservations. Plenty of bar seating. The service was fair, not particularly warm or engaging, which was fine. The food was alluring and beautiful, but the flavors were salty, flat, and mushy. Starting with the Paloma, it was nothing special. Just something you could get with a well happy hour special. Serviceable but unremarkable. Very Instagrammable, however. The pork belly was nicely charred and had nice bite sized morsels on the skewer, good texture, but the sauce was very salty, almost bitter. Forced myself to eat the 2nd skewer, but could not push through the last 2. In contradistinction, the beef rendang was almost bland, like a microwaveable peanut butter Hormel beef stew, and the cardinal sin - the rice underneath was mushy. That was what sealed the nail on the coffin. Bland, albeit tender short rib, on top of smushy rice. Dead. I barely ate one of the 2 pieces of ribs and couldn't do more. The staff wanted to see if I wanted a take out container. When you see a customer that disengaged with the food, you'd better be wary. Being Asian, I don't like to waste food, but when it's so not good, I'd rather walk away and get something else than to finish a terrible meal. Many diners have a millennia of choices in this price point. Sadly, not sure how this restaurant got recognition because it's half as delicious as your typical neighborhood Thai restaurant. Banana Leaf at the Original farmers market in LA is better, though humble and homely. Just very disappointing. Hope it was an off night and that others have a better experience.

We ordered the Smoked Salmon Tartine, and it was SO good -- farmer's cheese, capers, pickled onion and dill on their sourdough. Honestly, the food was top tier. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing, and after trying the bread we actually ended up buying some to take home! For drinks, we had a matcha latte with oat milk and the canned nitro cold brew. Just a heads-up for my fellow coffee people: the cold brew isn't made in-house, but that didn't stop it from being really good! We liked the coffee so much that we actually went over to the local coffee shop that supplies their beans afterward and bought some beans to take home. And definitely don't skip the bakery. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious, and the chocolate croissant had that super crispy, crackly exterior. I personally would have loved a little more filling to make it slightly more moist, but that's completely subjective -- if you love a crispier croissant, you'll probably LOVE it. The atmosphere might have been my favorite part. It's beautiful, calm, inviting and just has that perfect Carlsbad coastal café vibe. Between the food, fresh bread, pastries and atmosphere, this is absolutely somewhere I'd come back to whenever we're in the area. Definitely worth a stop -- and come hungry because everything coming out of that kitchen looks delicious!

Stepping inside just after 1:00 PM, the atmosphere immediately feels crisp, polished, and genuinely welcoming. Front-of-house host Maria sets an impressive tone right at the door, effortlessly managing a constant flow of walk-ins, ringing phones, and reservations with warm, unflappable grace. The reward for arriving on time is arguably the finest seat in the house: a sunlit patio table right at the open window, where the fresh Pacific breeze lifts the entire dining experience. Service, helmed by Hanna, is nothing short of stellar. Attentive and operating with remarkable emotional intelligence, she ensures every need is anticipated. While a flat Pepsi Zero was an early misstep (a swap for Coke Zero would be a welcome menu adjustment), the opening complimentary sourdough roll with maple butter was so good it disappeared instantly--prompting Hanna to thoughtfully bring a second with the appetizer. The famed spicy fried calamari brings bold Asian-inspired flavors, featuring a sweet-and-spicy dip reminiscent of classic egg roll sauces and a fiery drizzle akin to the sauce on a dragon roll. However, while the flavor profile hits the mark, the execution left room for improvement; the calamari itself landed on the greasier, lukewarm side, falling slightly short of top-tier benchmarks like Villa Roma. Any minor missteps evaporate when the Filet Trio arrives. It is, without hyperbole, a culinary masterpiece. Three beautifully cooked 3-ounce medallions are each elevated by distinct, harmonious toppings: rich crab and asparagus under a silky béarnaise; a sharp, savory combination of blue cheese fondue and crispy prosciutto; and a deeply flavorful green peppercorn sauce crowned with crunchy onions, all anchored by creamy garlic mashed potatoes. Each bite activates the palate in a completely different way, balancing contrasting textures and rich flavors seamlessly. With an expansive beverage program that includes thoughtful zero-proof options, alongside a varied menu spanning light, healthy options to decadent comfort food, 333 Pacific remains a must-visit.
