Came here on a Saturday afternoon and sat up on the roof top. Vibes were great, views were nice and the service and food was impeccable!! My friend and I got 2 different burgers and shared each other's half. My A5 burger was so tasty as well as her bison burger. Flavors on point. Definitely will be back to try some other options on the menu, they have plenty of to choose from.

We ordered delivery. The place did an excellent job getting the food to us and it was packaged well including separating items for best keeping. We loved it. The tortilla chips were great. The tomato bisque was properly done. We will be back.

Maddi at the upstairs bar during Friday happy hour was an absolute machine, handling everyone without breaking a sweat. My girlfriend and I lucked out with zero wait and got a skinny house margarita, a guava margarita, coconut shrimp, and chicken and waffles. The coconut shrimp is non-negotiable, you have to order it. Burgers and wings are great too. It's clean, family-friendly, plenty of seating inside and out, so just budget extra time for parking because, well, Oceanside. This is my little escape when I'm missing Cabo vibes!

Finneys happy hour is the best! $6 IPA's $6-$7-$8-$9 appetizers that are regular size! The food is delicious! The staff is super fun and engaging! I had a really great time and will definitely be back! Check them out from 3pm-5pm to get the best deal La during happy hour!

The vibes were cool. Staff was attentive and sweet. And honestly great bar food. We just got apps the chicken and waffles so freaking good hot chicken sandwich was really good there. Onion rings are good. They have good ranch. Cheesesteak egg rolls tasted homemade they were good! They have homemade ketchup. It's a little bit spicy and kind of taste like a bloody Mary and it's delicious. Lol as for the cocktails, not really my favorite lower quality ingredients better to stick with the basics unless you like fairly sweet flavoring. Then it might be your favorite go to.

This Finney's is not quite up to snuff compared to the Finney's in Orange. Triple Smash Burger had good flavor. Fried pickles were lacking in flavor. Others in our party said the tater tots and the Finney burger had a weird taste to it (and they frequent the one by Chapman College). Service was somehow fairly fast but unattentive. I wouldn't come back to this location when eating in Oceanside. Other better restaurants here.

Great spot for Happy Hour. A beer and a burger for $16. Can't beat that. Good rooftop bar and food is great for the price point. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. Cool vibe at the restaurant, would come back and enjoy the drinks and atmosphere. Enjoy!!!

While on vacation in Oceanside with our kids and another family, we stopped into Finney's Crafthouse for lunch since it's just a short walk from the pier. It turned out to be a great choice for a casual, family-friendly meal. We started with the coconut shrimp and the buffalo cauliflower, both were good. I went with the mahi tacos for lunch which were great. The kids all ordered cheeseburgers off the kids' menu and were totally happy with their meals. The adults sampled a few different beers, and with such a large beer menu, there was plenty to try. Since it had started to rain, we grabbed a table inside, but they also have a large outdoor patio that would be perfect on a nicer day. Finney's had good food and lots of choices, something for everyone.

Tried the mahi mahi crispy tacos and the tots, my husband got the chicken club, and we also tried the Bavarian pretzel with dips. Tacos were good, nothing special, they needed just a little more seasoning but the chipotle crema on them was delicious. My husband liked his sandwich. The tots were good. The pretzel was delicious! Soft and pillowy, but the dips oh yesssss. Dijon mustard, beer cheese and caramel. Omg the caramel dip was the best! We came here on a whim on the way home to LA, and we will be back again. :)

Food was okay enough. My friends and I felt the burgers lacked flavor (wagyu and jalepeno burgers). The wings and poki nachos were also just okay. The best thing was the onion rings. Food came out quick The beers were really good. And the service was excellent. Our server was so sweet and patient. We (6 adults, 3 kids)arrived on a Saturday around 5:30 and was sat right away upstairs. It was way too loud upstairs. Like where you're shouting to talk. Def good bar vibes upstairs. To just grab a drink and appetizer.

Ill always remember that burger being bomb. Trued those new steak fajitas and wasnt the biggest fan. Steak was overcooked , asked for medium. Alot of fatty pieces. Got more than well done. Had to try out the new item tho. Chicken and waffles were pretty tasty, sold as appetizer, mot too bad. Got the pepperoni pizza, crust was pretty rock hard, I understand its a flatbread but the pepperonis were basically burnt and the crust was like a cracker. A bit disappointed in this visit VS my first one, but i still have hope in the rest of the menu items

Friday night happy hour, Finneys had a good crowd going upstairs and down, but we were seated on the rooftop patio right away. I love the vibe upstairs, even without a true ocean view because of the surrounding hotels. The spunky server in the black converse was so cheerful and we got great service. Started with a Raspberry Smash, a delicious muddled vodka and prosecco drink. A nice smear of sugar on the rim and side, it was tasty sweet and refreshing. I only had one, but I would have enjoyed more. Husband had a beer which was part of his dinner combo order. Our happy hour dinner included the bacon deviled eggs, yummy and easy to pick off the candied bacon and move it to his egg. They were a standard deviled egg with a smear of creamy yolk underneath to keep them on the plate. A drizzle of sriracha garnished the plate. I ate it all, pushing the eggs around to wipe up the yolk and sriracha. Smile. Moving on, Husband ordered the Finney's Burger and fries for his entree. This is a $16 value option with an included beer or soda. This was a nice thick burger, cooked exactly to medium rare. Husband had to compliment the chef when the manager stopped by to check in with us, because it is DIFFICULT to get a medium rare burger right and this one was PERFECT. Topped with cheese, pickled onions, lettuce and tomato it was a good value and good quality. Big fluffy brioche bun was appreciated to soak up all those rare meat juices. My meal was the steak taquitos, a delicious pile of pico on top of four large rolled corn tortillas filled with a bit of beef. Some tri tip beef according to the menu. Not a lot of filling, mostly corn tortilla, but still tasty and filling. Chipotle aoli on the side tasted sharp, and was traded to husband for his sweeter chipotle catsup which I preferred. But the roasty salsa that accompanies this dish is AWESOME and I asked for more. The manager himself brought it over. Although I would have loved another Raspberry Smash, we kept our dinner bill to $40 by not ordering another round. So dining economically can be done in Oceanside, if you get there before 5pm for happy hour!!

Great food we had bad service only one time, but it was not their fault. Their employees called in sick.

Good food and drink for a fair price, what more can you ask for. The cheesesteak I had tasted great and not too filling.

There seems to be a good number of regulars and they are always friendly and happy to chat. My husband and I stopped in to Frankie's on a recent Saturday at 5pm. Our kiddo had a performance down the street at 6pm so we had a little time to kill beforehand. The neighboring spots looked busy so we decided to go with Frankie's, seeing as they were less inundated at the time and we had a time constraint. Another allure was the sandwich board at the front door advertising discounted cocktails - sold!! Inside there were a handful of patrons at the bar, another table with two additional patrons and maybe a couple on the patio so it was fairly quiet and slow, so it looked promising. We headed up to the bar and hung out behind two empty barstools, the single female bartender greeted us and said she'd be right with us, but then continued chatting up the seated patrons, serving them and their friends that had just joined (AFTER we'd arrived). We moved a little further down to the handoff area where she was making drinks to save her having to come back to us again, and stood there for probably 10 minutes while she took orders and made all the drinks. We commented that she looked like she could definitely use a hand, and she said they were still adjusting into summer hours and determining whether more coverage was needed at this time - I figured 5pm on a Saturday should be primetime, so I'm not sure in what universe having a single bartender makes any sense. Finally we placed our cocktail orders, waited while they were made, and then put our card down for the tab. After we'd paid, I noticed the cocktails were more expensive than advertised on the sandwich board out front - I couldn't find a disclaimer anywhere that said only certain cocktails were included, so while it was a bummer I wasn't about to wait another 10-15 minutes to catch her attention and ask for clarification. Just a heads up to beware of whatever is advertised that might summon you in from the sidewalk, and make sure you ask before you make your selection. Drinks were very subpar, nothing special to write home about. While I can appreciate the Gatsby-esque vibe they're trying to uphold at Frankie's, they really should increase their staffing especially during prime weekend and evening hours, and be more transparent about their specials and what's included and what's not. Hindsight is 20/20, and the low volume of patrons when everything else around it was going off was probably a sign, so we'll skip Frankie's our next go around.

The online descriptions appear to be heavily embellished (likely AI-generated), promising far more than what arrives at the table. The steak was noticeably low quality, and the cioppino, advertised with fresh bread, fish, and pasta, tasted like watered-down Campbell's soup concentrate. To make matters worse, the bathroom was filthy. While our waiter was genuinely nice, the food was a huge disappointment. For the price, it was frustrating and disheartening to pay premium rates for such a poor experience. We cannot recommend this place and will not be returning.
