I drove clear from North Ogden to try this place. I saw the pictures of the chile verde and I thought that's gotta be some bomb verde!!! We ordered the burger and the Philly. I was a little disappointed tbh. I ordered a SIDE of the chile verde so I could split it between the both of us to put some on my Philly and some on his burger. We left and I noticed there was not a side cup thing of the verde so I went all the way back and told her I was missing my side of chile verde and was told they put it on my Philly. That's not what I asked for. I couldn't even eat my Philly as a sandwich, I couldn't get it out of the box because it was beyond soggy!! so I ate all the stuff on the inside with a fork and was unable to share the verde with my boyfriend because it was all mixed in with my Philly stuff. The food was okay, definitely looks better than it tastes. I would come again, just maybe get something else..........

It was so good the first time we had to go back. This time I tried the Shrimp Chili Alfredo special and it was amazing. Must try, they need to add it to the regular menu. Great flavor with just a little kick. 5/5 My buddy tried their green chili burger that you can't go wrong with. 5/5. Fries and sauce are good. Free chips and salsa to start are excellent too. This place is great!

I've been there numerous times and it has always been on point, today however got smothered burrito Christmas style , the green sauce was bland which has never happened, street corn banging, beans banging ,had to throw some hot sauce on the burrito to help with the flavor, not gonna stop me from going back however, I like the New Mexico style green sauce and the different flavor it has compared to what is here locally. Every establishment has a off day so not sweating it ! 3 stars just for today , 4 stars a usually.

Outstanding! Can I even consider birria tacos without green chile consommé now that I've had these? I cannot. There were 12 customers who had already placed orders when I arrived a few minutes after opening. Owner Kallie greeted me and talked through the best of/award winning menu items, from birria tacos to the green chile cheese burger. The brick and mortar has only been open a month and a half, but clearly, they have a solid following from their food truck fame. 5 more people arrived while I waited for my take out order: Green chile birria taco, esquites (street corn), and caramel churros. YES to all of it! The only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't also get the burger. And sopapillas. Tomorrow...

My wife saw this advertise somewhere and really want to try it. We were bored on a weekday because I was off of work and she happened to have it off too. We drove down from the Ogden area and found this place. I thought it was pretty good. my wife thought the chili relleno was just OK, nothing special. I got the taco plate and it was good, I forgot which meats I ordered. The service was great and the owner came around and made sure everything tasted good.

The food here is phenomenal. And the hospitality is even better. I am from New Mexico and this place made me feel right at home. The tables are all named after cities from NM which is cool. The owner came out to check on us and even gave us some amazing warm sopapillas for dessert. I would eat here weekly if it were closer.

All I can say is WOW! After reading some reviews, I knew I had to come try it. The green chile was amazing! I loved the homemade salsa, and the birria tacos were so amazing and flavorful. Cindel was our server and she greeted us with the most beautiful smile and great suggestions. The street corn was amaze!

Authentic and amazing New Mexican cuisine in the Salt Lake valley. We had the green chile burger, stuffed sopapilla with the most amazing green and red chile. Felt like the flavors of Santa Fe finally available nearby. Everything about the meal we had held subtle nuances that made it special! Fries sprinkled with green Chile powder, a fluffy tortilla "bun" for the burger. The service and conversation with the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Felt like family! Do not miss this place!

Finally I found a good green chile burger I don't have to leave the state for this restaurant a slice of heaven the food was very good and flavorful it had just enough heat from the chiles so it was not too spicy and the chips and green salsa were the icing on the cake we can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu I will recommend this place to anyone wanting a little spice in your meal

I have been wanting to try Green Chile House for quite some time. We were finally in the area and let me tell you. I would give it six stars if I could. The service was fast and friendly. Everyone makes you feel like family there. Our server recommended the green chili burger, the Birria tacos, and fried chili strips. We ordered all three and were blown away by the fresh delicious flavors. I cannot wait to go back to this cute little restaurant. Run don't walk to Green Chile House.

Disappointed, I eat here regularly. The food is so tasty, but today may change that. They no longer serve you. New system is you order at the counter, no issues. Then I left my 20% tip as usual. I had to get my own salsa from a bar, GROSS!!!! Other peoples hands, no where to cleanly put the salsa lids while you scoop your salsa. My dinner was left on the table on a tray, not even in front of me. No silverware with it, I had to go back to the salsa bar to get PLASTICWEAR which is not conducive to this type of food. When I was done I had to bus my own table. What did I tip for? Don't get me wrong the food is still legit, but from now on I'll just get the food to go and a drink from the house.

A few weeks is way too long to not visit this place. This time we tried the veggie nachos and the chicken sandwich. Both were great . Slowly but surely, I'm eating the menu. The staff here is on point. Everyone is super nice and fast.

What a gem! This place is a little spendy, BUT it is extremely good. Save your chipotle money and come here instead as it's worth it! Service is fantastic, food is great and green chili sauce is to die for. The only thing I will say is that it is spicy. Even the beans and rice are spicy. If that's your thing you will love it! If you don't appreciate the spice factor come prepared, but don't skip out on it. Overall fantastic. My favorite was the Carne Asada Taco.

Food was just average and way overpriced. My wife is from New Mexico and this did not remind me of New Mexico cooking.

It was full of retro, lighting, booths, and decor. And asking the girl at the front for the best sandwich or the most popular one and she recommended the turkey bacon avocado. I ended up getting an 8 inch of that with some miscellaneous toppings with a drink and a snickerdoodle cookie. I was impressed by the amount of toppings such as bacon and avocado that were put on the sandwich, in a good way. In the end was actually pretty good. I do realize that at these kind of places the sandwich being good depends on what you put on it but nonetheless, I enjoyed my sandwich and cookie while reading a book in the corner. While comparison to Subway still stands it is more pricey, the combo with the eight inch sandwich ran me about $18, so wow good is not the front runner in terms of value. Another plus is that they do have farrs ice cream that you can get as well. All in all, a good sandwich shop and somewhere local to support! 3.75/5

So, the process took some time. Think, basically the opposite process of Jimmy John's, but more entertaining. The sandwich itself (turkey bacon avocado) was pretty good- half an avocado was scooped out right onto my sandwich, and the bacon was fried up right then. And the pricing is very reasonable. I wouldn't recommend the combo, because the cookies are comically tiny/not good and made me want to visit Cutler's right after.

They also always have time to help me find the right type of protein for my meal and are always so kind and happy! I love the man who always tells customers about the good deals or what's coming up on sale.
