    1. Tonkotsu Ramen

    Food is good and cheap. Anyone order ramen must order the extra chatsu cuz it's only 2 dollars. The tofu is also recommended. You can have any issue with the portion and the taste especially at this price

    I had such a great experience at Sukihana. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. exactly what you want from Japanese-style cuisine. Every dish tasted thoughtfully made, and the portions were just right. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick without ever making us feel rushed. You can really tell they care about the quality of what they serve. Whether you're craving something comforting or looking to try something new, Sukihana is definitely worth the stop. I'll absolutely be coming back!

    Stopped in for a late Saturday evening dinner. Once we were able to get our order in our ramen came out quickly and hot which was appreciated because it was a cold rainy night. Broth had great flavor and plenty of ramen. They were a bit understaffed - only one wait person but she did the best she could and was very friendly. She even offers us a small taste of their chicken fried rice free of charge (had an mis-order in the kitchen) which was great and I may have to order on our next visit.

    Found one noodle bar and decided to try it , when we got there it looked like the place was closed but we called and we were able to get sat immediately. We tried the gyozas , volcano miso , and chicken fried rice. The volcano miso was missing a bit of flavor but we added some gyoza sauce and it made it taste so good. I believe our server was the owner and she was so kind and sweet. Overall I would say that I would come back if I ever visit salt lake again (;

    Food was mid. Nothing super special about it. Thought it was a bit pricy for a Raman bowl.

The big win for me is the gluten free ramen, which is hard to come by!! There are also vegan/vegetarian options. Good variety of non-ramen food too -- the mabo tofu is another go to for me, chip salad was a pleasant surprise, and their drink options are phenomenal. Can't go wrong with a lemon Chu Hi, a rare find in SLC!! We have been multiple times, can't get enough.

A big bowl of food but it was cleaned dry before we left! - The chashu don was a delightful mix of tiny pieces of salty, fatty, crispy pork, hot rice, cold vinegar pickle slices - The sundae was my least favorite but still delicious! I just don't love matcha flavor. We still downed the whole thing! The service - The restaurant was packed on a Friday, we got on the waitlist and had a lovely walk around the neighborhood. - Once seated, you order yourself from a QR code. It took literally TWO MINUTES from when we ordered to getting our whipped tofu, and the other dishes were also a short wait, which I was not expecting with how busy they were!! - They refilled our water, gave us updates on when our food would come out, and had really great service overall! The vibes - I loved sitting at the bar, with the warm wood, green tile backing, view into the kitchen, and nice music playing in the background.

We Googled this place and said let's give it a try. We walked in and to note we are not Caucasian. There were a few people people at the bar and ooh the looks we received as why are they here. However, the girl at the counter was pleasant to us when we walked in. We decided to sit inside since no one was at the tables and they were a few people outside, not buy at all and it was around 8:30pm We sat down the waitress, Asian lady was not rude but not friendly. No greeting, asked if we wanted water. She got the water, placed it down a little hard and that was that. We looked at each other and said oh lord,here we go. We sat for about 20 minutes before our order was taken. I mentioned it was not busy. Once we ordered it had taken another 20-25 to get our food and you CA. See below what we ordered it shouldn't have taken that long. Anywho, we received our food, then you can feel the Asian lady energy started to change for the better. She talked to us and was engaging. However, interesting experience. We ordered the following: Chicken Karaage - 5/5: This was good and the sauce that came along with it was good. I needed more for the amount of chicken that was given. Miss soup 5/5: it was good and not salty, just enough flavor. Salad 3/5: the salad was good, I should have ordered the salad dressing on the side, it was bit much on the salad. Shrimp tempura maki roll 5/5: fresh and good. Nice size cuts not too big or small. Veggie Maki roll 5/5: fresh and good. I would return if ever back in Utah.

Karaage 5/5 - super krispy and juicy, piping hot! Duck ramen, 3/5, the noodles and soup were fantastic, but the duck itself was a bit dry. The char siu bun is pretty good, but a bit too much bun and a bit too much mayo. Gyozas were fine. I think they put enough extras in their ramen. Both times I've had the tonkotsu, my go-to ramen. Of course, they have various Ramune drinks there. But not the creamy melon drink, my favorite. Service is friendly and efficient. Not a cozy place in which to eat, but it is nice. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
