Some friends and I ventured over to Yukon to try out Green Chile Kitchen. The service was attentive and the food was good. The salsa has a really deep smoky flavor. I had the chile relleno for my meal. It was cooked nicely with a crispy outside, but lacked flavor overall. We ended our meal with a couple of types of their pie. The peanut butter and the snickers pies were both really good. Definitely save room to try one of their many pies!

Service was great. Cool atmosphere. 3rd visit and my fish tacos were awful. The slaw and beans and rice were good but the fish was overcooked and paper thin. No real fish, just burnt breading. Husband's frito chili pie was good but doused with green chilis.

As someone that used to live in Santa Fe, I LOVE New Mexican Food! The flavors are so rich and vibrant. I have been coming to Green Chili Kitchen since they opened and Im not sure how I managed to just now give it a review. The pictures are from 3 different trips all with good intentions of writing a review. I used to faithfully get the enchiladas but every once in a while the chicken has tasted dry possibly microwaved, you know that taste so Ive switched to the Chili Rellano. Filled with yummy cheese. Im a spicy girl so bring on the heat. I always order Christmas style so you get red and green chili. Ive also had their frito pie straight out of the frito bag similar to the five and dime in Santa Fe's Plaza. My husband usually gets the chicken burrito with mild green chili. He has said the same thing about the chicken and that funny taste but its not every time just occasionally. The queso is divine. Could bring home a gallon of it. Love their margarita flight! Pies are also amazing. All in all Im still going there as often as I can get to Yukon! I encourage everyone to check out Green Chili Kitchen.

The flat enchiladas are AMAZING! And the queso, and the margs. Everything really. We make the drive because it's our favorite in the metro!

The food was delicious, I only give it 4 stars because its expensive. The queso with beef is bomb and I loved the chipotle pineapple tea

Great food and great service. They have amazing pies during the holidays. And the green chili queso is out of this world.

This is a chef owned Mexican restaurant. The food is good but not great! Only went once because I wasn't really crazy about the food.

Great food and atmosphere! Worth the drive out to Yukon. Try the carne adovada.

She came back with a puzzled look and said okay yes. It's a small place but an authentic place for sure. She brought out my taco salad and it was in a huge lettuce bowl. HUGE. (Most places just slop it on a plate which is fine because I just don't want the fried shell) I was in heaven! Brilliant! My husband threatened me (easy, it was all in fun) that if I started asking for my usual taco salad in a huge lettuce bowl rather than without a fried shell, he'd never take me to Mexican places again - that's never happening lol. I certainly got some weird looks but I didn't care, I was thrilled! It was delicious and an enjoyed having a double serving of lettuce!

Upon walking in, we were told to sit anywhere we like. There were tables and chairs and booths to choose from. You are given queso, salsa and relish to start. The queso is good, the salsa was different than I am used to. It almost had a sweet taste. I am not sure what was in it, but it was different. One of the people with us said they were the best carrots she had ever had. The food came quickly. It was cooked fresh to order. On the table were multiple sauces to choose from. You were also offered green or red sauce. The beans and rice were very good. The chicken fajitas could have used a bit more flavor, but they were good. Taco salad was fresh with big chunks of avocado in it. They were friendly staff. It is a nice little place, but would be easy to miss. We would all go again.

We have fancy restaurants , taco trucks , and some Mom and Pop places , but this beats them all. Our server Carlos was very informative and gave great service. I had the Lunch Chicken Chimichanga with shredded chicken and sour cream and beans and rice. The shredded chicken was moist and very flavorful , sooo good. The beans had lots of flavor but a touch too much salt. The rice was good also. My son got the Lunch Chicken Fajita plate also with beans and rice. My daughter-in-law had the Fried Shrimp Tacos. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. We also got chips and a ton of salsas and quesos for them and some warm flour tortillas. The flour tortillas were fluffy and really good. Out of the sauces I liked the white queso and the hot salsa the best. My son also ordered the habanero sauce for 99 cents. He really liked it. I also had sweet tea and it was perfect for me , sweet but not overly sweet. All in all I definitely recommend you coming here.
