Great fresh food, every time! Busy particularly in the evenings- not much seating. Food never disappoints.

We arrived when there were only two occupied tables. They brought us the menu and our drinks, but then two other groups arrived and were seated at different tables. After a while, the staff took their orders before even asking us what we wanted to eat. It was disappointing to see that people who arrived after us were served first. I didn't think that was acceptable, and it left a bad impression of the service. I ordered the quesabirrias tacos, but they were lacking salt. I asked for a salt shaker, but no one ever brought it. Great Quesabirria tacos, the beef consume was very tasty and slightly spicy. The hot salsa in the mini cast iron pan was hot but not too hot. The table salsa was good and white queso is served with the table salsa. My buddy had the lunch beef fajitas which he also enjoyed. I have been coming to this location since they opened then all of a sudden a few months back the normal staff was not there anymore. Since the the service has been terrible I will sit down and wait 10 minutes for them to ask what we want to drink when there's 10 people here to eat. Wait forever for set up wait forever for orders. We went there around 3 pm for a late lunch and we were served spoiled shredded chicken. 3 out of the 6 of us got sick from the chicken will probably not ever return as this is easily avoidable. read more

Food was absolutely delicious! It's a very cozy "hole in the wall" feeling spot with friendly, attentive staff and amazing food. Chips, salsa and queso was top of the line, drinks were reasonable prices, and most importantly, everything tasted SO good and so fresh! We are definitely going to be regulars now. read more

I only give one star because it was hot and ready at the exact time it said, I ordered it at 11:15am so they just opened. I was excited to try because everyday the smells coming from there are amazing! Well it was deceiving. I ordered the fajitas with chicken. It came with four chunks of chicken, little chunks and veggies, onions and peppers. Way undercooked as they threw them in the skillet flipped them and pulled them out no flavor at all then I also ordered a taco and an enchilada with chicken and beef on the taco, there was maybe a teaspoon full of meat. Then don't get me started on their queso if that's what you wanna call it it's runny and has absolutely no flavor. In a word: No. In several words: What self-respecting restaurant uses Hormel chili sauce as their enchilada sauce?? The rice was bland and this damned "queso". What even the hell is this stuff? At best it's creamy and maybe a little cheesy but at worst? It's an abomination. Watery, sort of chicken brothy? And zero hint of cheese anywhere. I'm sorry, Oklahoma. This was a great experience, and we will be back! The atmosphere is good. There is a cute outdoor area that I would like to enjoy when it is not 100 degrees outside. I had a chicken enchilada with sour cream sauce and rice and beans. My husband had the chicken taco salad, and he said it was very good! For drinks, we had a Corona in a frosty mug with salt and lime and a perfect margarita. Both are excellent. Service was quick and friendly. read more

Food...ordered a side of rice and a side of refried beans. The refried beans were sour. I made the waiter of this, but nothing was done. Service...forgot to bring one of the orders. The complimentary chips were served cold when the customer got their order. Will not be back to this location. read more

We love casa Perico! The tacos are great and enchiladas are wonderful too. They have a full bar and their service is EXCELLENT!

Years ago this place was good..not anymore! This last visit will be our last. The 'beef' burrito..well your really paying for cheap refried beans! It has maybe a spoon full of meat and then it is fattened up with a bunch of beans! So your paying $12 for a bean burrito! And the fajitas...4 small pieces of meat on a bed on onions! Total rip off...even their queso is watered down. I will take my business to Ted's. This place has went down hill Also the staff was unfriendly and food was tasteless. read more

Great customer service. Had the lunch fajaitas. Chicken was a bit dry but everything else was great.

It was one of the worst meals I've had at a restaurant. The food was gross. My friend that was with me had a completely different meal and the same experience. I will definitely never go to this restaurant again. The people are nice, but that doesn't make up for how bad the food was. read more

Seemed extremely overstaffed for the size of the place, but since most of the employees were on their phones service was still sluggish. Food was extremely lackluster and not authentic at all. I'm sure if you were looking for a ground beef taco salad you would be fine with it, but if you are looking for actual Mexican dishes, you should look elsewhere. There are two Mexican restaurants within 10 minutes of this place (I won't name them out of respect, but go east) that have fantastic authentic Mexican and casual tex-mex dishes, leaving me wondering why they would pick this location for this kind of fast-food Mexican. Lastly, the lighting in the place is perplexing. It looks like the surface of the sun from the outside at night, and inside was like a tanning bed. Food is good, and fresh service was stellar. Ambience is definitely Latin in Mexican. Good drinks one of my go to places for Mexican.

I would have to agree with a previous reviewer. Everything was bland... salsa was water, no vegetables in it at all. Rice was horrible. And the refried beans, I'm pretty sure they came from a can. I went at lunch time and there wasn't a lot of people there, but the staff was standing around speaking amongst themselves. I think I will drive 30-45 minutes to the south side to get some authentic Mexican food. read more
