Comforting, tasty and yet underwhelming. Alfredos is well known in the okc area, it's a go to chain Mexican/tex-mex restaurant with a casual feel, large portions and fair pricing. The food is always playable palatable at each location. Typically easy to eat even on a sore stomach and warm. I ordered a birria pizza to go which is essentially a birria quesdilla in a ciricle shape instead of a half circle, so it's double the size. It comes with an underwhelming amount of birria sauce for the amount of food (see photo). Flavor wise it was mild. I could taste the spcies used but nothing popped. Like most of Alfredos food it is perfect for a palette that prefers mild slightly homogeneous flavors and lots of dairy. I wish it had more string flavors but overall it was decent. Never had a bad experience until tonight. My husband order me a Jennifer's avocado enchiladas the takeout employee started asking what do want on it or in it so husband got confused. It's just supposed to have avocado only. I couldn't eat it. Chicken peppers and onions in it!!!! Do not go to the takeout order guy because he doesn't just let you order what you want. Our daughter recently got married, so we contacted Alfredo's for catering. We spoke with several other Mexican food restaurants to inquire about catering. Alfredo's ended up being around the middle on pricing. We went with them because we already know the food is great! The catering staff made everything very easy. We arrived today at 4:14PM. I stayed in the car while my husband went inside and personally placed the food order with Ignacio. He placed an order for 1 grande enchilada platter. I was the only one eating. We've been eating here at least 2 to 3 times a month for the past 10 years. The food and service has always been acceptable. We have always placed our orders in person and our orders have been prepared to go and we eat it at the house. The food took approximately 18 minutes to be prepared for our to go order. We live approximately 10.2 miles away from the restaurant and tonight when we were leaving to drive back home, we ran into a severe thunderstorm. Therefore, it took us a little longer to get back to the house. At 6:07 PM I had to place a call back to the restaurant and Ignacio answered the phone and I gave him the information off of our credit card receipt with the total amount including the tip. And he distinctly remembered the order and my husband placing the order with him . I told him that, unfortunately this evening, I could not even take one bite of the food to eat because it was loaded down with too much SALT. I even had my husband take a teaspoon for just to taste to see if he thought it was too salty. He agreed and said it was way too salty for him to eat it. Ignacio stated that they check the quality of their food by doing a taste test several times during the day. In fact, he stated that he personally had tasted the food at 2 PM today. Now, I am not sure if that means he did a taste test on the same food that we brought home , but that means my food was at least several hours old...!!! The listing on Yelp states they open at 11AM. So I am hoping that the food is fixed fresh EVERYDAY and ready to be served at 11AM. It's interesting that he did his taste test at 2PM. That means three hours after they opened and three hours after the food was prepared and ready to be served....smh...!!! I then went on to ask Ignacio if I could get a credit back to our credit card account for this dinner that was absolutely inedible. He then stated he would take the tip portion off, but he was still leaving the price we payed; including the tax on this one plate of food. I reminded Ignacio that we have been loyal customers at his restaurant for over 10 years without one complaint. WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS Restaurant... BTW I will be taking steps to get my food, tested at the Health Department tomorrow. read more

The food has really gone down hill. My husband ordered a Tostada and the meet was so greasy when he picked up the Tostada it was rubbery from all the grease that soaked into it. I've eaten here twice in the past 6 months. I'll start with the Pros. I ordered the chicken fajitas with fresh jalapeños. The portion size is good here, usually some take home. I also like the xtra-large cups they use. The wait staff was friendly and food came out in an acceptable time. Cons - it's pricy. 2 orders of fajitas and soda was $45. The fajitas were bland. Needed seasoning. The presentation was terrible. Just looked slapped on the plate. Nothing exceptional. For a $45 fajitas meal I expect some exceptional. I do like the fact they offer impossible meat for vegetarians. I'll be back for that reason as I have vegetarian family members. read more

They always bring plenty of chips, salsa, queso, tortillas, and any other extra dips while you wait for your food. The food comes out fairly quickly. Alfredos has added new items to their menu. There seems to always be slight wait, usually they move fast, so maybe 20 minutes. They are quick to bring chips, salsa, queso, and upon request, grilled onions and pepper, which are so good! I have tried the tostado, enchiladas, fajitas, and my favorite are the fajitas. Once you order, be ready, your food will be delivered very quickly! Let's start with the good...the decor is much nicer than your typical Mexican restaurant. It has a cute fountain in the waiting area and lots of plants everywhere. And the water cups were freaking quart size; don't have to worry about waiting for refills. There were five of us so they seated us at a four booth and slid in a chair. There were six tops but in a section they obviously didn't want to open yet. Knowing the size of their platters they should know better. It was our first time so we were unaware. The table salsa was the purée kind rather than the chunky. I'll eat it either way as long as it has flavor (spoiler...it didn't). The queso was served in a viscous form but soon turned gelatinous. We flipped it onto a plate and it unsurprisingly keep its form. As our order came, plates covered the table. Literally COVERED. I had fajitas and there was nowhere for the tortillas so they sat in my lap. If anyone was paying attention I'm sure it looked weird that I was pulling tortillas out from under the table. I ordered the veggie fajitas without the green bell peppers. By the amount of mushroom slices I fished out of the dish, I'd say exactly ONE button mushroom was used. It took awhile to get through the mountain of onions. That's saying something since I'm a lover of all things onion. This is a HARD pass for me. read more

I was working in the Yukon area and stumbled on one of my super favorites. It wasn't just lunch on Friday... It was Alfredos Mexican! The staff/service was lightning fast... My server even helped me with my Spanish speaking. The place is a must return when I am in the area. I visited on March 15, 2010 with my grandma. We were seated quickly and our waiter, John (the one with musical tats) brought us hot chips, flour tortillas, delicious queso, and really nice & sweet corn relish and salsa. We were seated at table 8, right next to the tortilla making window - they make them on site! I really liked the decor - there's a very pretty fountain (that I didn't get a picture of) in the waiting area and it smells nice inside. I had the chicken tortilla soup + 1 cheese enchilada. I have never ordered an enchilada in my life (only eat homemade) and this one was pretty good. John forgot a taco and and enchilada on my grandma's meal but he brought them out really quickly. I liked that he refilled my water about a zillion times. I wish we could have gotten a refill on our queso though. I would for sure go back - best Mexican food I've had in Yukon. read more
