The toum was fresh and the salad was exactly what I was looking for, but the meats could be better. It's an excellent spot for lunch & it's best to split with a friend. The food tonight was very good, like it was the last time I was at a Green Corner. The servers were great and the food was made fairly quickly. You order at the counter and then they bring you dishes. I had some of my sisters hummus and I have to say it was so silky and flavorful. The restaurant is the only wrinkle in the experience. While it was fine- clean, etc there was some shabbiness. It didn't affect the product at all! However there are some repairs that need to be made. Perhaps because there was so much take out obviously exiting the building it's not quite as important to have a great interior. The other location was much nicer in that regard. read more

We went to Green Corner last night. There were 2 people behind counter and I believe 4 in the "kitchen". I was greeted immediately. I was given a (hand written) GF menu when I requested one and the young man was proud to tell me that the bottled soda was all cane sugar if I wanted. He also conveyed "Waite time" for our order. But that's all "normal service" We sat down and just watched as they treated every guest like they were a priority. Our order came out and the young man says "since you requested no pita, I can get you some additional cucumbers!" It all sounds like the things we should expect from food service but the reality is, we as consumers are not experiencing this consistently. Pretty disappointed with this place. Not only are they understaffed and the staff they do have are rude. The girls walking out delivering food walk around with an attitude calling out numbers but not even looking around the restaurant. I am a huge fan of Mediterranean food in this please hit the nail on the head. The portions are very large and affordable. This is my first time eating here so I went with the traditional Gyro. The fries were well-seasoned and warm! The Gyro itself was delicious - I could tell the sauce was well made and had a great garlic flavor. Have you ever wanted to try somewhere new? Well, DO NOT think about coming here. Save yourself the horrible customer service headache! I went to Green Corner today, and it was easily one of the most absurdly horrible dining experiences I've ever had. It was decently busy, nothing extreme, and I placed my order about 10 minutes after arriving. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. Fifty minutes went by with no food. Meanwhile, the couple sitting next to me was being obnoxious and completely disrespectful to everyone around them -- full-on touching each other in ways that had no place in a restaurant. Public indecency at its finest. Then, after all that waiting, the server gave MY food to that couple, and they didn't even know what they had ordered. They literally said, "We don't know what we ordered," and still took it -- even though my order had a customization. I told the server, "That's my food," but by the time he realized, he had already placed it on their table. 20 minutes after this, the employees are all trying to figure out what order number I am, and do not come remotely near me to address the issue. So now I've waited 50 minutes, still have no food, and I'm still waiting on a refund. And instead of taking responsibility or trying to fix the situation quickly, the server kept telling me she told the cooks to make my food again. She then came around and said they had a "crazy influx of orders," which was absolutely not true -- everyone around us was getting their food within 10 minutes, including people who walked in long after I did. If you miss someone's order, the least you can do is bust your butt to make it right. That didn't happen here. To make things even worse, the server kept calling me "babe," which was the last thing I needed while trying to manage my frustration. Unprofessional on top of everything else. I am not your "babe", so don't try to be cute and call me that. If you want good food, good service, and basic respect, I HIGHLY suggest going to Haji Baba in Tempe. I've been going there for as long as I can remember and will continue to. I will never come back to this Green Corner location, and I will never recommend it to anybody I know. read more

Food was very good, chicken Sharma plate is good, I double up on the salad and hold the rice. Table also had the al sham beef, and Al sham Gyro, which are wrapped in a wrap and cut into eight pieces. Also came with salad, which was a little dry, needed more dressing. French fry's are coated and very crispy. Hummus is excellent. BUT, this places cleanliness and amenities are really getting nasty. I am surprised the health department has not fined them. Condiments bottles are disgusting, no ketchup, but was brought some old leaky packets. Zero napkins, just a couple of brown roll everybody was trying to rip off a piece. The bathroom soap dispenser was broke and they had an insert bag laying there where u tried to figure out how to get soap. I hope they clean this place up as the food is good. read more

I'm visiting from out if town and mediterranean sounded like the perfect thing! I was not wrong - the food was DELICIOUS! We got 3 kabob plates - 2 beef 1 chicken, with salad, hummus, fries, & pita. They are generous with the garlic and tahini sauces. The beef was cooked PERFECTLY and so tender. The veggies were grilled too. It was big portions too - i didnt finish all my rice. The pita was soft and the hummus was perfect. I ordered thru doordash for pick up and my order came out fast. Unfortunately, it was wrong. Good thing i checked before i left! I had to go back up there 2x before i got the right thing. The 2 girls behind the counter seemed very unmotivated and confused - i can totally understand if they were new, but even so you definitely want a welcoming atmosphere in a customer facing job. It was like the one bagging the orders wasnt even bothering to read the receipts (which had everything spelled out very clearly). Thankfully there was another guy there who saved the day and we got everything we ordered even the extras! I would eat here again but maybe only in person. Also ordered Green corner combo, Beef grilled perfectly medium rare, chicken was also perfect and the Kafta beef was to die for. I had no use for the falafel. Been a fan of the Green Corner since discovering them in Mesa 3 years ago. We live equal distance from both locations, which is about 20 miles and I wish they were closer. Food is consistently great! Service always good. My husband and I typically split a combo platter and I always get a Greek salad. I would buy a bottle of the dressing if they sold it. I don't know what it is but it's not overpowering like typical Greek dressings. But the salad is just so refreshing. We will sometimes get the Greek fries. They're so crunchy, hot, and flavorful every time. The only thing we missed today was the baklava but they had a pretty busy lunch rush today. read more
