My mom LOVES this place, I live up in phx and my moms lives in tucson and every time she comes to visit she HAS to go here she doesn't want to try any new places ever just wants green corner. The food is soooo good and they have great portions. The service is alright they forgot to bring my food out once after bringing everyone else's but other than that i've had good service. Green Corner has been my go-to fix for Mediterranean food for several years now. My son and I both love getting shawarma, gyros, and kabobs from here. Their plates include the entree plus rice, salad, hummus and pita. All are excellent. The serving size is more than enough for lunch and I usually have a little extra food when I'm done. Chicken shawarma is my go to if I'm not adventurous to try something else. The location is tucked away in the SW corner of Alma School and Queen Creek, hard to see from the road so you almost need to know it's here. I bet they would be extra busy if it was in a more prominent spot in the shopping center. Inside it is well-lit and have about 15 tables, varying from booths to tables. Typically I take it home but I've also enjoyed dining in here as it's very clean and inviting. The staff is friendly but there are also very busy. I'll definitely keep coming back read more

First I want to say, the food they serve is fresh tastes really good, I spent around $18 but I always bring leftovers to my place, that means good price on quantity and the quality! We were in the area and decided to try as we like most Mediterranean dishes. The menu was ok I suppose. Did not like that it is only displayed right above the cashier. First time there, so a min to go over everything would have been ideal. The look we I got from cashier once I asked for a min more to decide was one of annoyance. Once decided we were informed several options would be an hour or more as they "had a catering order" which made several options on menu not available for the in person customers who were not going to wait the hour+. Not the best look to a Friday evening dinner rush. So more time to find something else on menu made cashier that much more visibly annoyed. Both the pita and filling were so dry I think I ate maybe 1/4. a Ceasar chicken pita dry is . The plate my husband had was a lot of food, however he wasn't thrilled due to his first choices not available. If the kitchen can handle catering, while still serving the dinning room great. I got the 3 kebab combo and it was delicious. The meat was very tender and they give you so much rice, great for leftovers! I just wish they would not put the salad with the hot food in same container and offer more than 2 sauces and 1 pita per an order that definitely feeds 2 or 3 people. 1 pita and 2 tiny sauces is kind of a joke. The girl at the checkout counter was very friendly and sweet but I did not like being called "babe" about 12 times. She was bubbly and energetic but it just wasn't the place and some other folks might take that the wrong way. The restaurant was busy and seemed like a great place to enjoy a meal, I took mine to go but it looked very clean and run smoothly I will definitely return. We've done takeout from Green Corner several times and are always pleased with our selections. Our food was prepared fresh and brought to us where we waited promptly when our order was completed. Service was fast and courteous and they always answer any questions we might have without hesitation. The portions are very generous and the food is quite tasty! We got the Green Corner combo and the Shawarma combo today. Yum! Reminds us of what we used to get while we were in Europe. Prices are about what we expect them to be. We couldn't finish our food so we have extra leftover for a bonus meal so it makes for an even better buy! They offer indoor seating where you can seat yourself after placing and paying for your order at the counter. The place was very casual yet quite busy for an early Sunday afternoon visit. We were surprised to see so much traffic coming in and out of the doors while we waited for our order. Good to see a small local business so busy! The gyro (see photo) had decent taste and was adequate size but could benefit from some addins like pickles, tahini, etc. The falafel plate was fine. I was pleasantly surprised after coming here. I was delighted by the generous portion sizes and reasonable prices. The gyro was packed with meat and very flavorful. Really disappointing experience. We placed our food order and waited about 20 minutes with no update. When we finally went back up to check on it, we were told their system never sent the order to the kitchen. So essentially our order was lost and never even started. Instead of already having our food ready or close to ready, we had to wait even longer while they finally put the order in. Mistakes happen, but there was no urgency and very little communication while we were waiting. Overall, pretty frustrating service and a big waste of time. We called in a pickup order and after showing up they stated "we never called" ... after they completely dismissed the mishap, they ended up finding our cell in the system by looking up my number... but then proceeded to say that their missed calls (if not answered) are forwarded to other green corners locations ? Not sure how that makes sense... but location lacks maturity and respect when it comes to communicating to their customers. If phone transfers are truly the case they should state the locations upon answering calls.. Anyone else experience this ? read more

The food was fantastic! We originally came in for the big plate with three skewers, but since it was a busy Friday night, there was a 45-minute wait. Pressed for time, we went with the Chicago-style Gyro plate and the Beef Shawarma plate instead, which came out in just 15 minutes--perfect since we had to head out quickly. So my wife and I came here for date night. This is a great restaurant just around the corner from our house. When we came in, they were really crowded which is always a good sign. Janna ordered the Falafel combo and I ordered the Chicken Shawarma combo. First of all, the salad that came with them was delicious! She really liked the flatbread that came with her Falafel, normally it comes with Pita so she was a fan of the flatbread. I really enjoyed my Shawarma that came in a Pita.
