    Cuban, and bacon cheeseburger

We absolutely love the green dot stables. Everyone in my family got something completely different. Everyone loved what they got. It's fast friendly and it's cute on the inside.

We will be regulars here! All of the sandwiches are sliders so you can get two or three depending on how hungry you are. I had the grilled cheese and the cheeseburger sliders which were absolutely delicious. My husband had the Cuban and the coney, which he raved about. The sides are all small, so we got fries and Mac and cheese. Since everything is small portions, we had room for two desserts. The fried bread pudding was made of chunks of that you could eat with a fork. The s'mores dessert was slider style, with melted marshmallow and chocolate inside a slider bun. Our entire meal was $28 before tip! Also, service was great.

I had a great time here! The weight is often really long. The last time I went in the weight was over two hours and I wasn't able to stay. I am so glad I came back and tried again! We came in the afternoon so the wait was only about 15 minutes. The drinks are pretty cheap and there are so many different types of burgers you can try. I personally loved the Reuben! Our server was great and even gave us a few suggestions like adding bacon to the PB&J. I highly recommend the truffle fries they didn't even need a dipping sauce. It's pretty cozy inside, but it didn't seem awkward at all. There is a great area out in the back where you can grab a drink and wait for a seat. I will definitely be back!

Not for me, but I get the appeal - having a host of different sliders to try for ~$4 each is a fun novelty plus where else can you wash it down with a $4 beer these days? I just felt the food didn't taste very good. It was ~45 minutes to be seated during non peak hours but luckily they have a covered waiting area in the back with picnic tables and a separate bar. Once seated, service was quick and ambiance was lively. I enjoyed the Christmas Ale they had on tap but others in my group who ordered cocktails were disappointed. For food, I decided to try the pork belly slider and cuban slider but wouldn't order them again. The best thing I ate was probably the fries and the kale salad, although it was pretty basic. You get what you pay for I guess.

I think the fries are actually the best draw to this place. They are crispy and thin! Not pictured is the venison chili fries and the poutine fries that I tried which were delicious! I wish I had ordered the venison one for myself! The sliders were good. I liked the spicy pork slide, but it wasn't really that spicy for me. The chicken Caesar slider was good, but I do wish it had had some parmigiana cheese added. The waiters were nice and checked in on us a lot and helpful when there was an order mix up.

The go to place for sliders in metro Detroit. They have a large variety of unique sliders and all of them are made with quality ingredients and taste awesome! Quality, quick service, and definitely a place you'll want to visit time and time again!

Came here on a Wednesday around 6pm and they were busy but not crazy...the host was very nice and willing to seat me without the rest of my party present (they have a sign that you cannot be seated without your full party). He said they will accommodate when they can so I appreciated it! The place was a bit loud and fast-paced. Menu was pretty straight forward with sliders, fries, and sides. Our waiter was not the friendliest. He was short and to the point which seemed like the vibe for the restaurant but no chit chat, eye contact, and I felt like he just wanted to rush us out the door. Our party ordered a side of fries and two sliders each. Fries came out first which was a bit of a bummer as we were able to finish them before we even saw our sliders. The Cajun fries and the truffle/herb fries were very delicious! I ordered the chicken ceasar slider which was quite tasteless, chicken way overcooked, and overall a dud. The Philly cheesesteak slider was pretty good. Oh also, the caramel apple drink - disgusting lol don't do it! Now the fried bread pudding? To die for :) Overall not the best but I would return and try out more sliders and those Cajun fries!

Super fun lunch place. It was PACKED today but only had to wait for maybe 10 minutes. They make it so easy to order drinks at bar and go sit on patio and text you when table is ready. Service was fast. Server was helpful, thorough and great at refills. Menu is easy to follow. Most people ordered 2-3 burger sandwiches and 1 or 2 sides. Perfect sizes to try many things. Great dive atmosphere. Easily would go back.

    Nice drink

I love coming to Green Dot Stables. What heightens my visits is the small servings. The sliders are excellent and I LOVE the lettuce wedge. You can order a variety of things off the menu and actually get full. The drinks are also a plus..

This spot has been on my list for about 3 years. My expectations were higher than normal. It was good, not great. Prices were fair, many flavorful options, even dessert sliders. The thing is.. I ordered just about everything. My bill before tip was nearly 50 dollars and I did not order anything but the main event which was food! The double cheeseburger was disappointing, I thought the lamb special lacked flavor, the Cajun fries were crispy and they look seasoned but they were just okay. The fish fry and the chicken cesar were definitely the highlights of the meal. Just based off dinner, 3.5 stars. But the dessert slider I had which was a smore they served unsurprisingly on a roll instead of a graham cracker. It was honestly really good in a simple way. I'd do that at home. Overall, not a terrible spot and not mad that I got the chance to go but after 3 years of buildup, I feel it simply could have been better. I wouldn't go again.

This place was great for a big group and it had enough vegetarian options. I had the Cajun fries, plant based sliders and the kale salad. Portions and prices were good and the service was pretty quick too. We did have to wait for a table but they had a bar with games to wait in which helped time go by.

I found myself having some free time at 3pm on a Tuesday and decided I'd hit a happy hour, but when I thought about the area I was in I had to come here. The most affordable place ever with some of the best sliders you could ever get. The service was amazing, I had my kindle to keep my company and I was checked on just enough. The best place to get food and drinks near downtown that's doesn't make you regret spending your money.

If you need one more review, this is your sign! Delicious sliders, good size for the price, and full of flavor! Vibes are awesome, service is great! We went on a weeknight and had to wait about 20 mins to be seated but it was well worth it, a must go!

Lauren took great care of us and encouraged us to order whatever we were craving. Dangerous advice, but we happily accepted . Warning - the ratings are real. They're not a mistake. We started with our usual cocktail, the Instant Karma (5/5). It is the perfect balance of citrus and salt with a light cucumber note. Clean, refreshing, and it pairs well with everything. The roasted sweet potato (6/5) is one of the best vegetable dishes in the city. The caramelized exterior gives way to a soft interior, and the crispy quinoa adds a subtle light crunch that plays against the creamy texture. The salsa macha brings a smoky, nutty depth without the heat, and the crema ties it all together. I had to physically stop myself from scraping the plate (actually they had to take it away ). The tagliatelle (5/5) with beef bolognese and parmesan was flawless. The pasta has that ideal handmade chew, and the bolognese is rich without being heavy. The parmesan blends perfectly into the sauce and stands out in every bite. The potato pierogi (10/5) were the star of the night. Soft potato-filled pillows with horseradish crema, apple, and crispy shallot pieces create this perfect sweet, tangy, creamy, and crunchy bite. Each forkful felt intentional and balanced. I felt guilty, because in my head, I didn't want to share with my wife, but I did anyways . The cruelty of having to split an odd number of pierogis...well played...we should have just ordered another one. We also ordered the smoked potatoes and the pan roasted half chicken with sauce au poivre (always 5/5 for both) The smoked potatoes, with raclette, and crème fraîche, are always a must. These winter variation was just as good! The chicken remains one of the most consistently well-executed mains in the city. I have tried recreating it at home with the cold pan method and it never comes close. Every time we dine here, it feels like four or five different dinner experiences in one evening. Selden Standard continues to set the bar for us in Detroit. We love the staff, the food, and the memories tied to this place. Cheers to many more amazing years to come!

My husband surprised me with a birthday dinner here, and I'm glad that we got to experience it. We arrived in advance of our reservation and grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender brought us a glass of wine while we waited. It took about a half hour, but we were shown to our table for the night and promptly greeted by our server. All of the food looked amazing, both on the menu and with what people were ordering at other tables. We chose a variety of dishes - cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, squid ink orecchiette, octopus, mushrooms, and scallops. I would recommend all of them, but the standouts for me were the Brussels sprouts and the scallops. Flavors were unique and textures were especially on point with those dishes. Service was good, but we both felt like it was slow. There was a slight glitch in the beginning of the night where the host stand didn't mark that we had checked in when we actually had, which probably contributed to the half hour wait at the bar. Aside from those points, it was an impeccable night!

The theme was "Yes, Chef: An exploration of culinary icons through a cocktail lens." Each drink was inspired by or dedicated to a famous culinary icon, and you can read about each one in the index. We each ordered one drink from each section. From the Opening, I chose the Diaspora Club, which was so refreshing and delicious. Then from the Principals, I chose the Chingona, which was a little bit spicy and savory but still so refreshing. To Finish, I chose the Chocolatier Cosmo, which came with a tiny house-made salted dark chocolate. I loved all three cocktails I ordered, especially the chocolatier cosmo because it was perfectly sweet and went so well with the small piece of chocolate. For food, we started off with the crispy pork belly milk bread. For my entree, I ordered the miso butter gnocchi. It was kind of on the salty side but I still really liked it. The apple sofrito added a bit of sweetness to it. For dessert, we had to get the rhubarb coffee cake, which came with strawberry ice cream. Omg one of the best desserts I've ever had!! I never thought of combining cinnamon coffee cake with rhubarb or strawberry but it's perfect, and I might have to make something like that soon. Service was great and we were seated right away at 8pm on a Saturday despite not having a reservation. Food and drinks came out promptly and timed perfectly. First, the restaurant is up two flights of steps and there is no elevator. I injured my knee and walked up the stairs. Second, when I was seated and shown the menu, I was shocked at the very limited options. They only offer white- meat chicken, no rice or plain sides. I was going to try the greens but the server said they put vinegar on them which I don't care for. The Brussels sprouts with corn is a hard pass. I had no other choice but ordered something that I would never put together as a meal: fried catfish, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts with corn. The fish was fried hard and needed seasoning and the sprouts were forgettable. They brought out hot sauce on the side assuming all people want hot/ spicy food. I wanted tartar sauce and they didn't have a traditional sauce- they had a " Cajun- style sauce." My friend had a crab cake for $25. When I called about parking, the hostess mentioned the cash lot behind the restaurant and.a parking structure across the street. She didn't mention that it was extremely expensive, I paid $24.49 for 1 hour and 6 minutes in the structure. Oh, I almost forgot that they added a 20% gratuity automatically for a party of 2! So, overall, my catfish dinner, 1 crab cake appetizer, and $2 up charge for the Brussels brought my bill to $74. Plus, the $24.49 for parking was a $100 night with no liquor only to have to leave and go eat elsewhere as what I wasted money on left me hungry and unsatisfied for sure.
