The cranberry and espresso spritz, would not recommend

Cute place with a lot of Christmas decor when we went during the holidays. The coffee was decent, except for a holiday espresso spritz we got. Plenty of seating and friendly staff.

We got the iced blueberry thyme (seasonal syrup) latte which was okay. The syrup wasn't really mixed into the drink well, they kinda just pumped it and let it fall to the bottom. After mixing it tasted better but my friend felt like she could make a better latte at home. The chai latte with oat milk was okay, nice mix of spicy and sweet but seemed a bit watery? We were excited to see they have gluten free options on the menu! The staff are very pleasant. They have solid wifi and plenty of seating and outlets, so it is great for working. I was there during lunch time so it was definitely a bit louder, which I didn't mind. Also it is in a very cute neighborhood. Beware, parking is limited.

The whole cafe is so cute loved the decor! Stopped in on a Sunday and almost every table was full. The vibe is very much to come and stay a while with friends or family which was so nice on a cold rainy day. Staff were welcoming and helpful! For about $20, I ordered an a kickstarter egg sandwich and a gingerbread latte. The latte was the standout super flavorful, like drinking a ginger snap cookie. The sandwich portion was generous with plenty of egg, though I found myself wishing it had a bit more sauce. It looked amazing, but the flavor was a little more mild than I expected. Def will be back!

I believe we had at trip or two here while still living in PA, but I guess I never reviewed it. We were in the area for a quick, overnight work trip. I had Green Engine marked down for a coffee. Since I happened to be in the area later in the day, I went with a "lighter" coffee drink, their espresso mule. It was unique, but something nice for an afternoon treat. You have a little bitterness from the espresso, but then some sweetness from the ginger beer at the end. I also grabbed an onion and cheese scone as a snack for my wife. Good texture and flavor. The staff was super friendly and it's a great place to hang out and relax.

A good variety of things to choose from, from coffee to not coffee, pastries and prepared foods. We ordered a cappuccino and a latte, both with almond milk, a pastry and a bagel. Both the lattes and cappuccinos were too foamy. The cappuccino is supposed to be that way but a latte is meant to be creamy. The seasonal danish was good, a bit small. If had strawberries with a pistachio sauce underneath. The bagel was soft, with so many different flavors, from the mixed cream cheese to the capers, the pickled onions and the smoked salmon. A lot of seating, but doesn't seem that they have many open spots available because even on a Saturday, there are a lot of students working with their laptops.

Coffee: their coffee is fresh and smooth. Enjoyable and quick service Food: pricey. I don't feel like the $13 wrap was worth $13. It was good, but without a meat option or veggies, it felt like a rip off Atmosphere: cute coffee shop. A place I would love to sit in and do work if I was in the area

Super cute interior with two gender-neutral bathrooms, tons of outlets, many seating arrangements, fast wifi, fast and friendly service, and tons of natural lighting. The space is ideal for meetings or working on a laptop. Foodwise, they have a great selection of breakfast items, bagels, burritos, pastries, and excellent coffee (Rival Bros) and tea. Prices seem right. There are absolutely no complaints here! Probably my new favorite work spot in the area.

A really cute coffee shop! I love their pastries and their coffee, and it's a great place to study or read. I try to go when it's not too busy because it can take awhile if there's a large crowd.

I'm always up for finding good breakfast spots, and being able to get some work done while enjoying good food is always a bonus in the morning. When a friend suggested Green Engine Coffee, I was intrigued and there were vegan options. Started off in the bonus column before my arrival! This is a a cozy coffee house with many different options for seating and an abundance of charger outlets - yayyy!!! Communal tables, sofa seating, high tops, and window seating all created a warm environment. Being a connoisseur of teas, I decided to try the Ginger Turmeric Tea. After making sure the option I wanted was vegan, I ordered the Avocado Toast. The tea was aromatic and had a delicious blend of flavor. The presentation of the Avocado Toast was a delightful surprise. The taste - even better!!! The Avocado spread on the multigrain bread, which was so hearty, was creamy, rich and fresh. The balsamic reduction and red onions were the absolute perfect compliment! Fresh avocado was on top of the spread with fresh herbs as a wonderful garnish. Yes, it was good too! A filling and fresh way to start my day! Oh, and I did get a lot of work done too!

Service was good, friendly and lots of seating inside. I didn't see any seating outside. Lattes tasted pretty good! The breakfast burrito was good but not worth $13.00 to me since it's just mainly egg and potato. The poptart pastry was very very dry, probably over baked but the flavor was good. Parking was a little annoying, I think it's only street parking for this coffee shop.

This cafe is awesome! It might not seems like it on the outside but when once you stepped inside it's a whole different world! The decoration of the shop includes a piece of a plant(moss?) wall, the pastries and coffee are excellent as well, absolutely love the spinach pastry! People in there were mega friendly, 100% recommend!

    Salmon Gravlax

Went to this coffee place with a girlfriend of mine. I got the Matcha Latte and Salmon Gravlax. The set up inside was very beautiful and very plant centric. They had a whole plant wall as well. I loved the dish wear that the food came on. My salmon gravlax came on a nice ceramic plate. The onion on the sandwich was thinly sliced and very fresh. The matcha latte wasn't as "matcha" tasting as I prefer my lattes to be.

Angelos popped up on both right away with stellar ratings. So here we go: Yes indeed. The decor immediately screamed pleading, subtle and cleanliness! We were sat down by our friendly host and immediately went for the menus. We ordered a French Toast, A Raisin bread French Toast and an Egg and Cheese Sandwich. I personally had the raisin toast and it was sublime! Would have rated it a 6 star if I could. It was that good! We also ordered juice which was fresh squeezed. Excellent! Prices were good, which I find a tad up, but worth the quality. All in all, if you are in the Philly or Villy area, this is a must stop!

It just wasn't hot to me. Could have been the air temperature. The waiter was very attentive and stopped by a few times to see if we needed anything. Dad enjoyed his omelet and my pancakes were delicious. I didn't enjoy the bacon, taste like I was eating pig. I know it's pork but had a strong taste or flavor I didn't care for. Cheddar scrambled eggs were good but could have been hotter. Looks like a lot of seniors ate there. So good place to bring your parents.

Service: each person with whom we interacted (hosts, manager, food runners and especially our server...she was fantastic). Food: For the table, we got Calamari: very light and crispy, but the meat was nice and tender Pepperoni and soppressata pizza: excellent, with an amazing sauce, sausage and crispy outside tender inside crust. Dinner: The kids both got the Rigatoni Vodka. This is what I had the first time we visited. It was just as delicious. Packed with flavor and the sausage was perfect. Tender, and just a touch of heat. My wife got the Gemelli. A pistachio pesto - this was probably the best pesto I've ever tasted. Creamy, fill of flavor and a touch of acid that brightened it up nicely. Incredible. I got the Bucatini Amatriciana. Pomodoro sauce with guanciale. Blew me away. The pomodoro was unbelievably well balanced. Exact amount of sweetness, slightly acidic and the guanciale brought the salty note, in the form of crispy crunchy bacon flavor, but surprisingly tender. Blown away. We had to try dessert. Tiramisu: it was as good as expected. Very well made Vanilla Panna Cotta: this was exceptional (like pretty much the rest of the meal) delicate and creamy, and a huckleberry compote (?) that was insanely good. A touch of salt was in there to make it positively sing. I could not more highly recommend giving this place a try. Absolutely the whole package. Loved it and will be back!

I had the BLT with avocado and every part of the meal was excellent. The toasty bread was crisp and had a really nice texture; the egg was cooked just how I asked; the bacon a perfect balance of crisp and chewy. I asked for an extra side of avocado (I'm all about getting my fiber) and it arrived at the peak of perfect ripeness. The home fries were tender and savory. Also my cappuccino was delicious. The dining area was very clean and had a faintly rustic feel. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes, too, but never felt rushed. There were plenty of vegetarian options. I'm not too sure about it if you have to avoid dairy or gluten; the menu has a lot of that. FOOD: The breakfast burrito was not good at all. They put huge chunks of raw onions and green peppers in it. I had to pick them all out. They should cut them small and at minimum sweat them down a little. Those are 2 products that should be used sparingly due to their powerful flavor. It was also supposed to have bacon in it, but there were only a few teeny tiny pieces in it. By "few" I mean like 4 bacon bits in the entire burrito. Based on the size and the taste, I think they actually used a jar of those little red salad dressing isle bacon bits. I have a good palate and struggled to even taste the bacon. I even pulled 1 of the 4 bacon bits out and ate it on its own & it tasted like nothing. Unknown if that was because it was so small or because it wasn't real bacon.
