If I could give it a negative 5 that would be accurate. Disgusting food and the smallest portions I have ever seen. Ordered Small order ribs (receive 6 at LAI LAI for the same price and they are awesome), only 4 and one had maybe two bites of meat on it, another one was 2" shorter than the rest - minimal flavor, bland. Then the Fantail shrimp - what a joke, they should be embarrassed to have this on the menu. These were teeny, tiny shrimp in too much coating that was greasy and stale. The shrimp were like rubber - gross, $10.95. Then fried pork dumplings - a Chinese staple and test Green Jaded managed to ruin these as well. Small round pucks, could have been any meat inside - ZERO flavor, dough chewy and the dipping sauce was also bland. NEVER again, please don't waste your money - you will be disappointed! Until last night (3/23/20), my husband and I didn't even know this restaurant existed. As with many others during this time, we were looking for a place that was still open for either delivery or pick-up, and we struck gold finding Green Jade. I had some of the best crab rangoons I've had since we moved to Huntington (10/14/16), and hands down the absolute best Beef and Broccoli I've had in YEARS!! I thanked the people working profusely for being open, and I told them they would be our new go-to spot. I truly hope that this business survives the pandemic, as I would hate for a place with such amazingly good food and nice staff to close. If you're in the area, try to help keep them open. read more

This restaurant is misleading with their pricing - what it says in their menu is NOT what they charge you! If you order from here, look at the menu prices and compare it to what you are charged. Food was good, but owners are very rude. I went to pay with card once and one of them said outright to that it's annoying for him when people use one. This food was an absolute let down. We ordered fried rice wonton soup and steamed dumplings. The soup was the highlight if there was to be one, due to its total lack of flavor. The fried rice tasted of old oil and the steamed dumplings somehow managed to taste of stale cigarettes. I had Green Jade back in the day (late 90s) and remember thinking they were pretty good. I decided to bring some Chinese to my family's Christmas celebration. They opened at 11 today so they made a perfect choice for lunch. I ordered barbecue spare ribs, steamed vegetables, egg rolls and chicken chow fun. How are Chinese barbecue spare ribs always so good? I really liked the chicken chow fun too. I asked for brown rice and they were more that happy to accommodate. Overall, solid Chinese place. Surprised no one else has Yelped them yet. read more

There was metal in my food!! I didn't even receive an apology when they had 2 opportunities (once when I called to complain and again when they dropped off the refund) First of all when the food arrived the sauce I ordered wasn't in there... I also ordered pork fried rice and received plain rice. The food didn't taste good either which was another disappointment. The worst of it all was finding a metal shaving in my food... I called to complain and was told "sometimes it happens" I asked "sometimes you have metal in your food?!?" And then I was told that when they clean the pans sometimes it happens... I expressed my concern for health and safety because clearly it's an ongoing problem but again I was told it just happens.. I paid cash at delivery but I said I want a refund and was told to come to the store to get it, I said "you want me to come to you for my refund?" And then they said they would discount my next order.. as if I'd like to have metal in my food again. Finally I'm told "we'll come later to refund"... I said I can't wait all night... they said they'll come now for the refund and it took 30 minutes when I live 2 minutes away. When the woman arrived she asked for the food, I told her I threw it away after finding the metal. She continued to ask me for the food over and over, I said "I'm not digging through garbage to bring you the food so do you want my garbage?" She said no and again said she needed the food... I said I don't keep food with metal in it because it's unsanitary and unsafe.. she reluctantly handed me my money back then walked away quickly but as she passed me she threw her hand up in my face. Clearly this establishment has many health and safety issues that the people working there are aware of... yet they haven't changed anything or fixed the problems. Disgustingly dirty!!! I can't imagine how they could pass a health department inspection. It looks like the place has not been cleaned in a long time, if ever. Made the Christmas Eve Chinese food run with the family last night. We hadn't been here in years but decided to order from here because it was close to home so it would be quick. There were a few customers inside waiting for food the place looked the same it did three years ago. Definitely not a place you would want to sit down and dine in. We ordered chicken and broccoli, one egg roll, steamed dumplings and steamed chicken with mixed vegetables. The steamed egg rolls only came in orders of 8 but the woman was nice enough to package up four for me with a discount which I thought was accommodating. When we got home the steamed chicken and MIXED vegetables turned out to be solely broccoli. This place is good. It feels very chinese authentic. It is interesting but In a good way. The kids of the owner are so cute and they are always studying at the tables, which leaves no room to stay and eat. In all my years I have seen no one stay and eat, because the tables are occupied by the kids which I think is an issue, Also the mother lets her kids run out of the store to play tag in the dangerous parking lot sometimes which I think is VERY bad. One time I viewed the lady at the counter washing her baby naked in the huge sink... yeah.. But overall the lady at the counter is a sweetheart and the people that work there are so kind.
