They are limiting the number of customers in the store so once inside, it's easy to get what you need and check out. Note, they are taking credit cards only. Pearl carries all of the regular hardware store merchandise and then some, especially in regards to houseware, garden decor and even some home decor items like candles, cloth napkins, trinkets. The variety in each department has more breadth and uniqueness, even whimsical and quirkiness, than your average hardware store. That speaks to me! Yesterday I was so bummed that I couldn't browse and touch and actually shop because as we all know, during the pandemic it's about getting what you need and leaving. Man, did this make me yearn for a day of shopping like in the old days, 2 months ago, pre-March 23, 2020. Paid for my item and left so another customer could enter the store. Going forward, I need to remember that every errand now requires waiting in line and I need to build that into my outing schedule. No more in, out, done.
