I've been going to Green Light Bicycle Shop for a few years now and have had positive experiences every single time. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and a great mechanic. As someone who doesn't know a lot about bicycles, I really appreciate having that kind of local expertise to rely on. My family enjoy bicycling and are eager to hit the trails when the weather warms up a bit. We had our bikes tuned up this week, at Green Light, and are ready to go! I've always felt valued as a customer, and I trust that my bikes are being serviced properly and safely for both me and my family. It's great to have a shop like this in the community. Couldn't fix my bike, or didn't want to fix it. Missed the obvious causes and still tried to charge me a lot of money. He put on a new tire even before he knew if he could deal with the reason i brought the bike to him in the firs place. My friend fixed my bike in fifteen minutes. He is creepy and beware if you look like you are rich or drive a nice car he will try to rip you off. read more

Sean is very knowledgeable and works quickly. Needed a tune up for a race and he was able to repair a broken cassette, install a new chain, replace the rear brakes, rewrap my handlebars, and fix the issue with my front derailer rubbing. He was direct and was able to fix it all in 3hours. I plan to take all my bikes here in the future. read more

The shop was closed but Sean drove back to Green Light, opened the shop, really going out of his way just to attend to my busted derailleur and damaged chain. He did an excellent job fixing the derailleur and chain, truing the wheels, and generally enabling me to continue my bike tour, all for a reasonable price. Well, if you're looking for friendly service, this is not the place. I arrived and a person came out from the back room and stared at me without speaking. I stated that we spoke on the phone yesterday and I was there to drop off my bike for a tune up. The guy motioned for me to bring the bike in, put it up on the rack and asked where I stored it because it smelled. A very weird and uncomfortable experience to say the least. Anyway, he changed the peddles and the brake pads. I asked him about the derailleur and if it needed adjustment and that was ignored. I'll be doing business elsewhere in the future. read more

Rode ten miles on my bicycle to this shop this summer in one gear to fix a broken derailuer cable but it was CLOSED when it was supposed to be OPEN. Hours & phone number posted on door. Called number on cell phone and owner said he was OPEN. I said I'm at your door. Then he said the guy working for him must have closed early & went home. Found out later owner is the ONLY worker.
