Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. From the beautiful restaurant itself to the amazing food. I have a very specific sushi that not all sushi restaurants have. I have tried all the sushi restaurants in the area and this has the freshest and best sushi in town. *Edited to say the only thing missing is a kids menu, some chicken tempura and noodles/rice would be helpful or French fries like some other local sushi places(it would help the sushi loving parents) read more

The poo went every where all over the walls, I had to spray and pray. I am literally speechless from the most terrible service I have ever encountered at a restaurant. They do have a cute robot, but please be aware you are taking a gamble as to whether you will actually receive the food you ordered. I went on a Friday night at 6, it was busy, and a bit understaffed, so we were more than patient and kind because we've been there. But wow! While my husband and daughter's meal came, mine disappeared. And our waitress did too. And long after my husband and daughter were done with their meal, I had to find someone to just help cancel the order so we could leave (and yes, I'm so hungry). My husband and I really enjoyed the great food and atmosphere of the restaurant. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. I always grab it to go or get it delivered when I want green curry and when I ordered most recently they mistakenly rang me up for golden curry. I didn't notice till like 2-3 hours later when I finally was done with my meetings to eat lunch and was bummed so I gave them a call. Honestly, it couldn't have worked out better they were super understanding. swapped out the curries for the correct one and because the manager was going on break he even delivered it! This is the third time I've eaten here. Overall, it's a good restaurant with delicious Thai cuisine and sushi. Service is good, our previous server michelle she have always been taken good care of us and that's why when my family came in town I brought them over for lunch today however we were serve by a new server I assume untrained unprofessional unattended one. We didn't get our water until I asked, I have sushi with no soy sauce saucer and can't find my server so I asked michelle for help, when the new server return with the saucer she literally put her finger inside the saucer that's a no no no situation in a restaurant and last I asked for boxes she bring me no bag again I have to stand up in order to get attention and asked to see manager. The green papaya salad was good but even though we were told the fish sauce was fishy (it was still stronger than expected) if you do not like a very strong fishy flavor I would suggest not to order it. Overall loved the food, drinks and ambiance of Green Papaya! It was a busy Saturday night on my first visit and the inside is a lot smaller than it seems on photos so I sat at the bar. The service was fast and the drinks were great! I loved the basil Thai rice it was a nice size portion and well seasoned I did get a level 4 spice and it had a kick so keep that in mind if you don't like spicy. I didn't care for the shrimp tempura roll the pieces were huge I prefer smaller with. The lychee martinis were perf! Phenomenal service and food!!! I was greeted, seated, and waited on by Wen L. He immediately offered me ice water with lemon, then gave me time to sit and review the lunch menu and specials. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll and lunch Pad Thai with no spice. He read my order back to me and confirmed everything was correct. When I tell you an adorable robot brought my food to my table and then Wen placed it in front of me, it was so fun! The Pad Thai was just as I ordered it and was the best I've had in a very long time. The Shrimp tempura was bursting with flavor. I also enjoyed a cup of hot tea. I cannot wait to return! This place is discriminative. We went in and were immediately "rushed". Short one word answers with absolutely NO personality. I know for a fact that we were racially profiled, being Indian she probably thought we were not going to leave a tip. Saturday night at this restaurant was not good. Food was slow coming out. All four of us got our meals 10-15 minutes apart from each other. We voiced our frustration, but our server could care less, and the manager didn't care either. We received $5 off the last meal that came out when this should have been taken off the bill totally. It has that hint of smokiness in the beef. Perfect balance of flavors. You can adjust the spice level from church 1 to 5. If you cannot tolerate spicy. Order no spice at all. Thai spicy level is different from all other cuisines. It's got a sweetness spicy flavor. It doesn't burn your tongue spicy but it's a subtle build up of spice. We were so full with left overs to bring home. Service is excellent. Paying for your check is so easy. And if you have the app to pay or even order online, you earn reward points with cash equivalent which you can use for future orders. We order our food and waited about 30 mins before our food came out, and not once the server came and check up on us to see if we needed something. Trying out this recently opened Asian fusion restaurant in St. John's county. I was pleasantly surprised by our first dining experience here.Let me start by saying this place is clean and the vibe is different from your usual Asian restaurants in town. The high ceiling illuminated by very cool lighting effects to the patterned walls, and nicely upholstered chairs, the ambience is a plus for me. I ordered the drunken noodle with pork and it was delicious! The plating is an added bonus My son ordered sushi which he really enjoyed! My wife ordered scallops with mixed vegetables and it was very good! On top of all these, the serving was very generous and we were able to take home portions of each. I also like the idea of paying the check on your table, your credit card never leave your table and the server will just swipe your card right there at your table whenever you are ready to pay. I had been to this restaurant a couple of times with friends and had good experience. However my impression changed when I took my 8 year old grandson there recently because I'd like him to see the newly added service robot. I ordered a sashimi plate that is supposed to come with some rice but didn't, and my grandson ordered a fried rice with spice level 1. It turned out way too spicy (I ordered foods with spice level 4 at the same restaurant before and this supposedly level 1 dish only tasted slightly less spicy). The manager/owner was called. Without tasting it she insisted that level 1 is what it is, and did not offer replacement nor some white rice to mix in with the spicy rice for my 8 year old. While I wasted money on the fried rice the restaurant lost me and my family as customers! read more

You will not believe this!!! Green Papaya is one of my main go to places for dinner. In fact, that is one of the first places we recommend our out of town guest to go. On this occasion my wife and I decided to go for an early dinner (5:00) to our favorite place. We were seated promptly and the waitress was pleasant. We ordered an Ichiban, Kani Salald, my wife ordered her usual and I ordered Mixed Vegetables with chicken. I noticed the waitress read back Thai Basil, so I corrected her and said mixed vegetables and pointed it to her on the menu. We were half way through our salad when she brought our entrée and sat it on the table. My mixed vegetables w/chicken did not look like the ones I had before. As I am eating it I tell my wife this doesn't taste like it should. She suggested I ask the waitress what this dish was. She said Thai Basil. I said I had ordered mixed vegetables. Her statement was would you like me to reorder it. I said yes mixed vegetables. So she takes my chop sticks and the plate back and said she will bring a new one. 20 minutes later, I get a new plate new chop sticks and get to keep the now cold rice. I tell my wife, this looks the same and tastes the same. As we are looking at it my wife says "where's the chicken?" I call the waitress over again and I explained that it doesn't taste like mixed vegetables and I can't find the chicken. Her response was (no kidding) "Would you like me to make it again?" I said no thank you, but I would like to speak with your manager. She said she would go get him. I waited 10 minutes and no manager. So I went to look for him. I found him and he said he had been looking for my table. I said let's talk out here so none of his other patrons would hear. Longer story longer, I explained the situation and he came to our table. First thing he said was, I had Thai Basil and that was not mixed vegetables. He asked about remaking my order to go and that it would take 10 minutes. I asked to have our meal comped. He said they he would not charge us for the THAI BASIL but I would have to pay for everything else including (get this) the Mixed Vegetable he was going to remake. I could not believe it! I said no thank you and asked for our check. We paid, left the restaurant, and laughed at what a screwed up early dinner we had NOT. read more
