Carrot,apple,ginger juice

I'm in love with their walnut loaf. We haven't been to the restaurant in a while but was craving the walnut loaf which is what I ordered and wasn't disappointed. It has so much flavor and the gravy is outstanding. Who needs ground beef meatloaf when this is available? Hubby had the Italian wedding soup and it was also delicious. Ordered the carrot, apple, ginger drink....yummy. Service is good. Go try the restaurant. It's amazing.

Decided to give this place a try while in Redondo Beach and it was a good choice. The service was great, our server was super kind and helpful. There were a lot of options to choose from and they all sounded delicious. I got the Blue Place, it was good. The star of it all is their TOFU SAUCE! OMG! IT IS DELICIOUS. For desert we got the lime pistachio vegan cheesecake, it was amazing! I'd def go back.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

I've been waiting to try this place for some time now and I wasn't disappointed! All the food was very fresh and tasted like it was made from high quality ingredients. The ambiance was really wonderful, especially in the outside courtyard area, they have beautiful string lights above with heaters running as well. I'll definitely be coming back here to try some of the other dishes, but I so happy I finally got to try their famous tofu sauce in the pasta I had. The service was a little on the slower side, but we were the only table sitting outside and there a little bit later in the night. Also, The peanut butter chocolate pie did not have much peanut butter, it was mostly just a chocolate pie, still delicious though. So if you're a peanut butter lover, know that it is a very misleading name, haha. The drinkable chocolate dessert is also very bitter and I would not recommend that one. So happy to have found a place within walking distance from where I was staying at the beach. Placed a to go order last minute before they were closing. Amazing service & beautiful interior. Hopefully I can make back in next time to eat in. This restaurant is fully vegetarian/vegan. The burger and side was delicious and filling. The strawberry pie was okay. Not was I was expecting. When I think pie, I think fruit filling. It was a good strawberry flavor but the texture of the filling was off to me. Very squishy and more of jello type thick jello/gritty texture. Will try something different next time.

What a terrific find! We were in the area and looking for a vegetarian restaurant and the Green Temple exceeded all expectations! Inside is small and cozy while a roomier outside heated patio is also available . We chose to dine inside as the ambiance is so welcoming and relaxing . Our server was so nice, wish I had asked for her name. We started our meal sharing a creative spinach salad, followed that with stuffed tamales and a veggie bowl with the a delicious tofu dressing. Both of us were quite satisfied when the server brought the dessert menu. All of a sudden we couldn't resist the toasted blackberry pie, a perfect ending to a meal. Metered street parking is limited so be prepared to walk. A good idea to work up your appetite as what awaits you is worth every calorie.

We ordered: GREEN TEMPLE Bowl (3 item)- baked potatoes, garden mix, and avocado. THIS WAS DELICIOUS. THE TOFU SAUCE IS EVERYTHING ! GREEN TEMPLE SALAD- got this with the herb vinaigrette. Brought this with a slice of walnut bread. So good! BROCCOLI PINE NUT CASSEROLE- my friend ordered this. This was good but I liked my bowl better.

We came here to celebrate a birthday, not only was the food delicious, but the service was so warm and kind as well! Isaiah and his coworkers were attentive, kind, and helped make our birthday celebration that much more special! Thanks for a wonderful experience.

SO YUMMY!! as a vegetarian, it was such a relief to be able to look at a menu without avoiding half of the menu due to meat seriously so good, lots of options for hot and cold weather, large menu variety, fast service, and gorgeous location. Staff was friendly and attentive!

Delicious healthy meals are hard to find and this cozy spot pleases your soul! Tried the Palo Azul tree bark tea drink for its antioxidant properties and the enchilada and the Sproutada Salad. Check out the pic! .. and tomato bean soup!

Amazing! Every time we come to this side of LA we make a point of hitting Green Temple. Even if we drive an extra hour, it's always worth it. We always over-eat, but boy are we fat and happy! The space is peaceful, beautiful, wonderful. Every seat is the best seat in the house. Always overhear enlightened conversations. And always enjoy the service. The owner is big-hearted and bright-souled, we just love him. Make sure you try the cheesecakes, even if you've overeaten and are in pain, they are worth the extra mile because they are heavenly. Bon Appetite!

WOW! Now I see why lil Vegerie has nearly 500 reviews and 4.9 stars. I hope my review will bump…read morethem to 5 Stars because that is ABSOLUTELY what this unique gem in Redondo beach deserves! Stopped in while working in the area and got the Cauliflower Shawarma bowl. So many delicious flavors of garlic, turmeric, and ginger with a homemade tzatziki and tahini drizzle over roasted chickpeas and quinoa. This bowl truly made my heart and belly happy! The portions are plentiful too. Service was just as enjoyable. Jason took the time to ask questions in order to make best recommendations for me. I will 1000% return to try additional menu items such as the mushroom Carne Asada bowl and Poke beet bowl.

I have driven by this plaza so many times but have never seen this shop here. The signs are really not that visible. We ordered avocado artisan toast, lentil chili, mushroom carne asada, coconut pumpkin curry and hibiscus drink. The avocado toast looked really basic but tasted so amazing. The lentil chili was good but a little too salty for my taste and the mushroom carne asada was a bit too sour for me like ceviche sour level with no seafood. We really liked the coconut curry. That was the highlight of the meal. It came with this spicy sauce but it was like 3/5 spicy level for me lol but went really well w the curry and also the asada. Overall: love the service. The cashier David was really friendly and knowledgeable and also let us try the curry before we ordered. We also met the owner Jason as well and he offered to switch anything out if we didn't like it. They have outdoor seating only which was nice for today. I'm glad I found this place and will def be back again

If you're looking for a dining experience that balances a sophisticated atmosphere with soulful,…read moreauthentic flavors, look no further. The Ambiance is beautiful and spacious! The lighting is warm and intentional, creating an intimate, upscale vibe without feeling pretentious. Whether you're on a romantic date or just catching up with friends, the beautiful interior design--complete with subtle traditional accents and modern elegance--sets the perfect stage for a memorable meal. For dinner I kept it classic with the Aloo Gobi and Basmati Rice, and it was executed to perfection. The cauliflower was tender yet retained a slight crunch, and the potatoes were buttery soft. The rice was incredible fragrant, fluffy, and served in a generous portion. It was the ideal canvas for the rich flavors of the Gobi. The service was impeccable--attentive but never hovering. It's rare to find a spot where the visual beauty of the space matches the quality of the kitchen, but this place nails it. I'll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu soon! I recommend Banana Leaf!

Banana Leaf Restaurant in Los Angeles delivers an experience that feels both expansive and…read moreassured--an establishment that understands its culinary roots and presents them with clarity rather than excess. The meal opened with Rooh Afza falooda and a mango lassi, each thoughtfully composed. The falooda was aromatic and layered without being cloying, while the mango lassi struck an ideal balance between fruit, dairy, and sweetness--refreshing and composed, not dessert-heavy. The transition to savory dishes was seamless. Pani puri arrived crisp and well-structured, with a pleasantly sharp, clean pani that avoided overpowering acidity. The chicken 65 followed--crisp on the exterior, tender within, and seasoned with confidence. The spice was assertive but controlled, allowing the dish's texture and flavor to remain the focus. For the mains, both the mutton biryani and chicken biryani were commendable. The rice was aromatic and distinct, the proteins well integrated rather than buried beneath spice. Each biryani stood on its own, demonstrating careful layering rather than relying on heat alone. The standout of the meal was undeniably the lamb vindaloo. Rich, deeply spiced, and unapologetically bold, it delivered complexity without heaviness. Paired with soft, well-cooked naan, it was the most memorable dish on the table and a clear indicator of the kitchen's strength with traditional preparations. The meal concluded with two varieties of dosa, both expertly executed--crisp, light, and evenly cooked, served with flavorful chutneys and sambar that complemented rather than distracted. While the service was a little slow, it felt more reflective of the care taken in preparing each dish rather than inattentiveness. The pacing ultimately allowed us to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed. Banana Leaf succeeds not by spectacle, but by consistency, authenticity, and technical precision. For diners seeking serious South Indian cooking with depth and integrity, this restaurant stands out as a reliable and rewarding choice in LA.

I ordered the potato taco which had a fabulous crunch and a perfectly delicious chipotle ( ? ) dipping sauce on the side. The taco itself wasn't very flavorful but I think it's perfectly fine because the sauce carries more than enough. I also ordered the vegan fried chicken and I was so intrigued by the flavor. They had a notable buttery taste to them which was rich and pleasant. I believe they were coated with a cornflake cereal which gave them a proper crunch. The hibiscus drink was a tad thicker than I expected and wished it had a more balanced flavor ( sweetness : tartness ), but it wasn't a bad drink by any means. Definitely one to drink cold. I let mine sit for a bit and I think that affected the tasting experience. & Service is genuinely chill which I respect and prefer. No need to perform. When I entered there were already 3 other groups seated. I didn't realize until after I ordered at the kiosk (there is no wait staff) that no one had any food. We ordered the Caesar salad & wrap as well as fries and a cookie. It took about 30 to 40 minutes for the first salad to arrive and about 15 minutes after that for the wrap which was made with ingredients we had asked to omit. Weirdly, the wrap came with avocado slices on the side instead of inside of the wrap which was very strange. The French fries came a few minutes after the wrap and they had the consistency of a wet noodle covered in oil with little to no seasoning. The salad and wrap were OK taste-wise but I could have easily made a better salad at home. The fried chicken that comes with it was mushy and served cold. The cookie was fine, good large size and a lot of chocolate chips which was nice. But again, I could have made myself a better cookie at home. Ultimately I'd rather have saved the money and stayed home.
