Came here for lunch on a weekday and luckily got seated pretty quickly. By the time we were halfway through our meal, the restaurant was packed. It's not super big but there were a couple tables outside too. Food and service were both great overall Pad see ew lunch special: 5/5 this came with salad and an egg roll and I liked everything on the plate. I heard some good things from a coworker about Thailandia, a new Thai spot in El Segundo near my work, so I decided to check it out. It definitely didn't disappoint. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Drunken Noodles to go. The flavor was good across the board--all three dishes were on point, and I was especially glad the Pad Thai wasn't overly sweet. One really helpful thing to know before ordering is how they handle their heat. They give you four options: no spice, little spice, American spice, and Thai spice. We got a mix of the first three. The American spice had the perfect amount of kick for me, and the kids were really happy with the no spice and little spice versions. The food held up great as takeout, but I honestly think it would be even better eating it fresh right there in the restaurant. Overall, it's a solid new addition to the area with authentic flavors and customizable heat. I'll definitely be going back, probably to dine in next time. read more

Very popular place. Very busy lunch crowd and it's for a reason. They have very good food . Great selection of lunch specials generous portions and lots of choices. I played it safe today during my first visit and got wonton soup & drunken noodles. Wonton Soup: Shredded chicken & shrimp wontons in a spicy veggie broth. Absolutely delicious! Chicken was cooked thoroughly and the shrimp wontons were super tasty. Broth did taste like fresh veggies which was nice (may not be for everyone) & they made it very spicy per my request. Drunken noodles: Veggie pad kee mao - my faveeee!! Nailed the flavor & spiciness!! Literally no notes. haha I ordered the drunken noodles as part of their lunch special that's served from 11-3. It came with a smaller, tolerable level of noodles, a veggie egg roll, & salad. They also gave me a sample of their flower iced tea. It was sweet and satisfying. Paired nicely with all the spices. I was recommended to try Thailandia and unfortunately it ended up being one of the worst meals I've had. I ordered the drunken noodles and a Thai iced tea and was initially excited because of the lunch special pricing. The meat quality was so poor that I couldn't even eat it -- it had a peculiar smell and taste that was genuinely unpleasant. The Thai iced tea was also way too sweet, and that's coming from someone who loves sugar. If you're vegetarian, this place might work for you because the noodles and overall flavor were good, but that's really the only positive for me. Nice balance of sweet, salty, and a bit of sour, and it's the right brown color (bright orange Pad Thai kinda scares me lol). The drunken noodles were my favorite though! Super flavorful and bold. We went to Thailandia for dinner on a Saturday evening. We got the drunken noodles and Penang curry and fresh rolls. Everything tasted amazing. The drunken noodles were spiced to perfection and as someone who is a total foodie when it comes to Thai food, I always get this dish at every single restaurant I go to, and this one is in the top five!! It's run by a very nice family and the grandma and daughter and son-in-law. I've seen all of them on two separate occasions. Pro tip: Their medium Spice levels is what I would consider an 8-9 spice level just so you know. Speed: The takeout is pretty fast. You can get it in 15 minutes from the time of Order on a Saturday. The place is somewhat small (they have about 4 to 5 tables inside, and limited patio seating if you have a pet or want to sit outside). It's not too fancy just a good place with good food! This restaurant is in an office complex so lunchtime could be busy. We were staying at a nearby hotel flying in and out of LAX so it was very convenient for us to walk to the restaurant and get takeout. read more

We started with the fried tofu, which had nothing special to them. Would not really recommend getting them unless you have a strong affinities to tofu. The other app we got was a Tom Kha soup, which I thought was made extremely well and had a perfect balance of flavors along with the coconut-y, rich broth. For mains, I got a yellow curry with beef and shared a basil fried rice with the table. The rest of the table got an assortment of curries and everyone was extremely satisfied after being outside on a cold night. However, the best dish in my opinion was the basil fried rice. I really loved how the basil flavor shined in the dish but didn't overpower everything else. The rice was cooked to perfection with the perfect chewy texture, and was just oily enough to make it taste delicious but not overdone. We ended the night with mango sticky rice, an absolute must. The mangoes were so fresh and sweet, which complimented the rice perfectly. I thought the rice was a little bit hard, but I've seen mango sticky rice served in many ways.
