Located in a busy plaza in El segundo. Plenty of parking spaces within this business plaza even during lunch time. The restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seatings. Overhead awning provided shade from direct sunlight. The friendly waitress came and took our order. And the food was prepared within timely manner. They offer lunch special, and the price is fair. The food itself was good, the portion is medium. I personal thought it was on the smaller side but my friend was unable to finish the meal. The food was fresh and everything tasted fine. Nothing spectacular. It was good but not the best. Overall. It was a good experience. The lychee drinks were a bit too sweet for my taste and felt artificial to me. I probably will come again just because its convenient location. 4.1 out of 5

The Pad Thai with shrimp had a great balance of sweet and tangy. Comes with sides of salad, rice, and spring roll.

So far my favorite Thai spot near my work. I love to come for their soups especially Tom Kha and add shrimp. Everyone is super friendly and kindhearted. It's always a pleasure to visit and sit and eat. Whether you are alone or solo, it is a great spot. I can't wait to return to try more food. Next on my list is maybe a shrimp pad Thai! Also inside ambiance is Thai and gold with beautiful art and decor. Highly recommended! Btw they give a complimentary tea! If you go on your birthday and show ID, they'll give complimentary mango sticky rice!

Ambiance Nice and Clean. Service was great and attentive. Food : 1. Tom Yum with Shrimp (Small) $12 - Perfect to share if you order another dish, the soup is very refreshing. We ordered spicy, but it wasn't too spicy. 2. Lunch Specials Drunken Noodle with Fried Pork Belly $16 - Comes with salad, jasmine rice, and 1 egg roll. The jasmine rice portion was really small, but overall good for one person, the egg roll was okay. The noodle taste good and pork belly was great. 3. Crying Tiger $18 - Compared to the price, the beef taste pretty good even it wasn't that juicy, comes with jasmine rice, salad, and a slice of sunkist. Good portion. 3. Complimentary Sweet Tea, i don't know what's the name but its pretty good and has blue color. 4. Mango Sticky Rice $12 - Mango was sweet and really good, sticky rice also on point. Overall, will be back. Good food, good price, good service.

I came here for lunch with my team from work during the week. We made a reservation for 12, and unfortunately, we had to sit outside (it happened to be a hot day) where they have limited sun coverage. But service is always great here for us. They are so friendly and welcoming. They bring us complimentary butterfly pea flower teas and mango sticky rice dessert, which I can't complain about. I ordered the Thai tea (yum) and the drunken noodle with pork. The drunken noodle tasted ok, but combined with service and everything else, the experience is always great as a whole.

Went today during lunch - will be back! Cute and clean whole in the wall restaurant. The staff were all so friendly & welcoming which left a good impression since the start. I played it safe today during my first visit and got wonton soup & drunken noodles. Wonton Soup: Shredded chicken & shrimp wontons in a spicy veggie broth. Absolutely delicious! Chicken was cooked thoroughly and the shrimp wontons were super tasty. Broth did taste like fresh veggies which was nice (may not be for everyone) & they made it very spicy per my request. Drunken noodles: Veggie pad kee mao - my faveeee!! Nailed the flavor & spiciness!! Literally no notes. haha I ordered the drunken noodles as part of their lunch special that's served from 11-3. It came with a smaller, tolerable level of noodles, a veggie egg roll, & salad. They also gave me a sample of their flower iced tea. It was sweet and satisfying. Paired nicely with all the spices. Can't wait to go back there and enjoy more dishes.

Wow! This place was amazing! The food and service were extraordinary! The plates were super nicely plated and presented but most importantly the food tasted authentic and tasty. We were treated with the so well with great hospitality would highly recommend.

Nice ambiance and clean. Portions were on the smaller side. Food was not bad, but not great. Pad Thai was too sweet. I had better elsewhere. Lod Chong in coconut milk beverage was very good.

I felt warmly welcomed as soon as I walked by a sweet lady who later took my order. She was attentive, the younger girl as well, they came by to refill my water a handful of times without me having to ask. Lovely service even as the place got full on a Saturday afternoon. The Kung Pao dish is on the sweeter side, which is not what I was expecting but still good. Coming back to try their tom yum, pad prik king and mango sticky rice because I had no room left. Lots of lot parking too!

Our group of 8 visited Thailandia Cuisine which was decorated in an authentic style. We ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was pleased with their choices. The portions were generous and satisfying and we loved the sticky rice with mango. The service was prompt and the server was friendly.

To our surprise, we found this "new" place, The Second Wind. The menu looked enticing and the lunch specials really looked like a great deal. So we decided we needed to come back for lunch and soon. A week later, we returned. Parking is very easy in the free lot for the complex. The interior design is energenic, vivrant with amazing looking Asian inspired pop art. Very cool interior. You can be seated and served or order to go. They have a combination lunch special, two items for $15.99. But, many of those items have an up charge if you add a protien. Either way, in these times, $16 for two items is reasonable. Our server greeted us quickly and let us choose the table of our liking. There are a handful of booths and open tables. My wife ordered the Beef Bulgogi and the Eggplant. I ordered the Chicken Dumplings and the Garlic Noodle (adding chicken for $2 more). The portions are generous. Light eaters might be able to just order one two dish combo and share. The Beef Bulgogi was good but the veggies looked a bit dehydrated. The Eggplant was just okay. The Chicken Dumplings were very tasty but served cool. I ordered them steamed and expected them to be warm at least. The Garlic Noodles with chicken was the biggest disappointment. To me, and my wife, over cooked with crunchy pieces. The chicken was also over cooked, dry and tough. When our server asked how things were, I mentioned it. He didn't seem surprised. I asked if the noodles were always dry and he said yes. He offered to bring more sauce, which he did. I added it but it didn't make the chicken any better. In the end, I left 90% of it. They only have cans of sodas so no refills but they are attached to a tea house that serves a great selection of teas, bobo, etc. There was some good things but more not, overall, we were disappointed. Honestly, I was a bit surprised they didn't offer to replace my dish or offer a small discount. They could see the pile of food I left. Anyway... Hopefully your experience and food preparation will be better than ours and...enjoy!!!

Sounds dreadful, but sometimes, that opens opportunity for exploring around the local eats. One of them is this local ramen shop, Blossom Ramen, that happens to be tucked inside the nice small El Segundo villages/shops in this quiet neighborhood. At night time, there are plenty of parking. This Ramen Shop closes pretty late (~11pm) while other local shops are already closed. Thus, parking is pretty open. I can't say the same during the morning or dayshift. At night time, you can see through the open window layout of the Ramen Shop and actually see if it is packed or not. Roughly 6 tables seating up to 2, as well as 7/8 tables seating up to 4. The register and reception area is right up front immediately when you walk through the glass door. The Menu is displayed up on the LCD screen as well as the laminated doubled-side sheets. Plenty of various types of Ramen to choose from. Order is taken and paid up front. Once ordered, along with your drinks, the waiter will bring the order to you directly so you can enjoy it. The interior decor of the Ramen Shop speaks volume to the "Blossom" that is in the name. The designer must really and truly like Cherry Blossom to decorate the interior as such. Wallpaper in cute anime/cartoonish form is seen throughout. I ordered the "Red Ramen" and when it came out, it was probably the most delicious and flavorful Ramen I've had. It wasn't a Tonkatsu nor Miso based soup, but more of a curry flavor based. The noodles was very delicate and very aldente! I had also ordered a pint of Sapporo to go with it and it tasted so amazing when parred together. I'm recommending this shop for late night eats or just whenever you feel like it or feel like eating Ramen. I'll have to try the other soup base the next time I'm around here.

The main issue that I had was that there were a lot of flies in the restaurant. There were a lot of small flies but also the big kind of flies that fly around and that made the meal a little bit unpleasant. With that disclaimer out of the way, here's my humble opinion of the ramen at Shin-Sen-Gumi Hakata Ramen. It's okay. When I came here yesterday afternoon, I ordered the Hakata Ramen which is basically a tonkotsu style ramen. Every aspect of it is customizable including the broth, noodles, and toppings. I just went with the default options, which i believe they recommend for first timers. On the side, I got a flavored egg, and pork belly. The broth was solid. It was flavorful, and fatty. The noodles were the right firmness as well. However, the chashu pork and pork belly were pretty mediocre. I know this sounds harsh but hear me out. Even after bathing them in the broth, they were dry and not tender. I didn't enjoy the flavored egg either. It was overly boiled and barely marinated. Despite the shortcomings noted above, I'm still giving this place four stars because the service is fantastic. The staff is very nice and provide incredibly fast service. My drink came out in like one minute. The refill came out even faster. They also offer free refills of the noodles.
