    Green & The Grain Catering

Had Green and The Grain for the first time as it was catered for my friend's baby shower and became a fan at first sight and first bite! I was impressed by the assortment laid out for us to choose from. I had The Farmer salad and completely cleaned my bowl! Their salads are so fresh and delicious! I enjoyed every bite and so did the rest of the shower party. It was fun to hear what everyone else selected. Sounded like every salad was scrumptious and that you can't really go wrong with any of them! Such a great idea to get this catered for showers or parties since it's so easy and simple to set up yet offers a variety of options for each person to grab and go. Also was a great crowd pleaser! It also introduced me to this great place and now I want to try more and will totally keep them in mind for catering events! If you have a party or small gathering you'd want catering for, I highly recommend ordering here. Hassle free and oh so fresh and yummy! There's something for everyone.

I don't often eat salad at restaurants, but this is one of the exceptions. What makes this spot different from the others is how everything is cut & the variety. You're not given huge slices of lettuce and light toppings, everything is proportionate. The dressings are also incredible, light and flavorful. My favorite salads are the Santorini & the Cowboy. As far as accessibility, I'd say it's fine as a majority of the locations are in the skyways, but you can order delivery or visit the traveling food truck. Overall, G&G is amazing and definitely worth a try!

This is the BEST salad you can get in the Midwest. I've been obsessed with Green + The Grain since I started working in Minneapolis in 2019. Not only are their salads good (I would highly recommend the Cowboy), but their staff is so friendly and energetic. I can say with confidence that I've never had a bad experience or a bad salad in my multiple times going there. I would highly HIGHLY recommend!!

Long lines at lunch are worth it. Great variety of salad options to choose from. Solid & healthy choice!

The best spot for fresh salads. I am a huge fresh fan and this place has it all. As a big guy you won't think that you can get full off a salad, but this place made me rethink it.

OMG THE BEST SALAD PLACE IN MPLS !!! DO NOT HESITATE TO GO. They do everything to perfection. Even a simple Caesar salad taste like heaven. Am I really hyping up a salad place? YES. It's that good.

Get here by 11:30am to beat the lunch rush! or if you can wait for after 12:45... I usually take my lunch and go because although the place has seating it could not realistically accommodate the amount of people it attracts during the lunch hour. I think their communal style table is cute but I hardly ever see people sit there. It is so well manicured looking that it reminds you more of a set than a place you would want to sit down and indulge in your salad or wrap. I adore the assembly line style where your salad maker carries you through the whole process util you get to the cashier. I have not have any wraps here but highly recommend the Buffalo Shrimp salad which is yummy! But the Classic Chicken Caesar (with olives) is my absolute favorite from here!

    Apple and pear - amazing!!

The salads are very tasty, but they can approach $20 with tax and tip which makes it unaffordable for most.

It's got a nice roof top patio and a nice outside seating area on the first level with fireplaces and a stage for live music. As for the food I would say eat somewhere else as I have not been impressed with anything I have had here. Which is disappointing as Travail in Robbinsdale is amazing and their other concepts around the cities I like. However, for me the food here is a miss. As for service here the various food stalls are a bit hit or miss when it comes to service as well. Some are friendly some are a bit rude. The bartenders have always been nice and friendly. Also note the parking around this area is street parking or parking garages which during events (especially twins games) can be busy. Overall I just think this is a good place to meet up with friends for some drinks and enjoy the roof top or outdoor space.

We stopped by Red Cow to watch the FIFA match and had a great meal overall. My only real complaint…read morewas that I wish they had turned the TV volume on for the game instead of playing music throughout the restaurant. It would've made the experience a lot more fun, especially for everyone who came to watch the match. The highlight of our visit was definitely our server, Hailey. She was so friendly, personable, and attentive from start to finish. She consistently checked in on us and really made us feel welcome. We started with the cheese curds and the guacamole, and both were really good. I also ordered the frosé, which was refreshing, although the lemon flavor with the lemon slice was a little overpowering for my taste. For my entrée, I had a 60/40 burger that was cooked perfectly with the bacon and was full of flavor. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience thanks to the great food and even better service. I'd definitely come back, especially if Hailey is our server again!

They did their own spin on the viral burger with melty hot cheese. This burger DID NOT MISS!! As always the burger was so juicy and the shoestring potatoes gave it great texture and the dijon sauce gave a nice acidic touch to balance the richness of the wagyu beef. Paired it with their crispy tower onion rings and truffle aioli. We went on a Tuesday night which was half off a bottle so that was a win. Our server highly recommended the creme brulee and as a creme brulee snob it was one of the best I've had. Being downtown the restaurant was packed but the service stayed consistent. Our food came out hot and the server did a great job of checking in on us. We also stayed past the time they closed talking and laughing and we never felt rushed to hurry up and leave.

If you're looking for a table indoors and the main area is packed, head to the back (towards bathrooms) where you'll find two rooms with additional seating which are usually quieter. - I tend to go for sandwiches, which include house made chips. Honestly, when I first went, I wasn't a fan of the chips, but it didn't take long for me to like them. Once while dining in, I found that most of them were just tiny bits. Well when the waiter came to ask how things were, I told/showed him... just as an FYI, not expecting anything. Well, he kindly brought me a bag to replace them. -The staff is mostly kind, with two male waiters/runners being especially nice and helpful. While myself or others are waiting they'll give friendly smiles, see if you need anything in the meantime. I like them! - Although I go mainly for the sandwiches, (my favorite being the Southwest Chicken Panini available in the Fall), I also like the mac and cheese and fries. I used to love the coconut cake, but something about the last one I bought tasted different. The filling and the cake texture... weren't as tasty as I remember.
