I have been using Benni's Housekeeping off and on for a couple of years. My husband has health issues, and when they flare up we need help! The deep clean is impressive - and worth every penny. The weekly cleans are consistent. Folks need to understand what they are paying for too - just like when you clean your own house, every few months you either need another deep clean, or you need to do it yourself. Benni is quite upfront about what her crews do and don't do, and have never let us down! I also have an exotic pet - a parrot - and they are sensitive to chemicals. You don't know how much peace of mind it gives me that her crews don't use anything that can harm my pet. Also, I had one cleaning service that refused to do the floors in my kitchen because they felt that food spots could have been 'left by the parrot' - completely absurd! I'd give them 5 stars, but in a perfect world, I'd be able to find someone to hire to clean my bird cages. I hate doing it - and Benni's crew doesn't do pet enclosures. If her business was perfect for me they would - but the bird is 11 and I have never found anyone... one can always hope! read more

It was an awesome gift for so many reasons - here are some of them; her team was friendly, hip, courteous and very good. I felt comfortable with them being in my house without me there. When I came home, the house smelled fresh and clean, not chemical. It was helping the local economy - and not some large business where they treat the women poorly. Benni and crew are great! She's been cleaning my apartment for two years and a half. She and her crew come in and get it all done fast for a reasonable price. She uses natural cleaning products, but when I told her I was still allergic to the fragrance in her products (this is very rare) she was understanding and gladly used my cleaning stuff. When she showed up next time, she was carrying the products I use-- she had bought them just so she could use them on my apartment! I've been using Benni's service for a few years now. I just don't have time to keep everything up, so it's really nice to come home to a clean house. No matter what the condition when I leave, it's always much nicer when I get home. I also appreciate her honesty and trustworthiness. I've never felt I needed to worry about having strangers in the house. Plus, when things eventually got under better control than what they were when she started, she let me know that it didn't take as long to clean and reduced the amount she was charging me accordingly. Okay initially I thought the service was great...Benni is a nice person and she met me at my house to do a walk through to see what the house needed. The first service was the deep clean and let me tell you the house was absolutely sparkling!! The second time was going to be revolving weekly clean, 80$ a pop. I thought this was a tad pricey but went ahead and had them come again. Well let me tell you...when I got home the house was beautiful but one thing was missing!! My passport. I could not believe that such a person with high reviews would hire a thief...since they are bonded, insured, and background check their employees at least that is what she told me. Mind you I don't own any diamonds or pearls but I do have my passport, which can be gold for any theif. Well I trusted the company, now I know I cannot trust a company even with high reviews on yelp...no more Benni and her thieving workers...Please think twice before using this service!! read more

We have been using Benni and her team for nearly 2 years, and I have been thrilled with my service. We started by purchasing a deep clean, and shifted to a touch-up every two weeks. We have two kids, a dog, jobs and a pretty busy life. It is a huge relief to have reliable, thorough cleaners who use green products and keep our home tidy for us. Extra bonus - my kids are in daycare and sometimes, we get a round of a bug that hits the house. The cleaners hit our problem areas (doorknobs, switches, etc) with a little extra sanitizing. I have found the team to be consistently communicative, and very responsive, and eager to adjust to feedback. I recommend them to my fellow working moms regularly. Edit: I have used other cleaners in the past who are cheaper and can get a little more done faster, but I have also had carpets, curtains and clothing ruined by bleach, items broken and hidden in the garbage and other untrustworthy things, which led me to find Benni's service in the first place. The only miss I had with her crew was having my son's earplugs (which frankly look like chewed up gum) get thrown away, and Benni offered to make it up to us and order new earplugs immediately. I value the respect for my stuff tremendously, and appreciate a little more caution in my cleaners. read more

My salon has been using Green Wagon Cleaning for a few months, based on a recommendation from am acquaintance in the neighborhood. They did a great job the first time they cleaned our business; especially for a company who is used to only cleaning houses. This month, 2 crew members did such an outstanding job that I wanted to show them public recognition- Casandera and Kay were on time, efficient, and had to deal with me being in my business working on the computer and doing inventory whilst they went about their work. The very next day, one of our lessees who was first in the salon, noticed that the salon was especially clean; it had been cleaned more than usual, and that's appreciated by not only our lessees but also by our clients who get their hair did. Many of them are here for an hour or more, getting their hair cut, blow dried, bleached, or colored, and there's alot of time for them to look around. The team that came to me was highly professional and polite. They were very comprehensive with their cleaning and efficient. After they left, I realized that they accidentally forgot to clean the microwave, which was included in the kitchen deep clean--since it was located in a different room and they didn't notice--and they instantly came back to do it, with a great attitude about it to boot. I am very sad to write this review. I originally contracted with Benni Sack via Living Social. My first experience was wonderful: Very thorough job and a check list of the items completed. We were so impressed that we requested that the same cleaners come back; we were willing to adjust our schedule to make that happen and were told they would (that story changed later). We used Benni Sack three more times.and it never got better...worse in fact (no check list and many items left undone). We have an 1100sf loft with two dogs - a Frenchie and a Jack Russell. The JR sheds so dust bunnies do collect in the corners of our hardwood floors. I contracted for two people for 90 minutes every 2 weeks That is a total of 3 cleaning hours. I only asked that the floors, dusting and bath be done in that time -no kitchen, no laundry etc. We are tidy people so there is no picking up that needs to be done HOWEVER I do expect that items like laundry hampers and plant pots be moved so the floor can be cleaned under them and that the floors beneath the bed, sofa and book cases be included in the dusting and mopping. Between the third and the last time I requested that Benni come out and do a walk through when my house was as dirty as it gets so we could be sure we had a clear understanding of what I expected. She came and we agreed. The last cleaning was by far the worst of all. They finally remembered to get under the bed but then basically just ran a damp mop over the floor with out moving anything (I am talking about baskets etc.). When I sent Benni pictures of the dust and areas that weren't cleaned she quit on me (and I didn't even send her all the pictures LOL). I am beginning to think that the best strategy is just to move from company to company via Living Social deals - obviously the best team is reserved for the introductory visit - after that...not so much.
