They have everything from jewelry, crystal, silverware, china, jewelry and watches. It is beautifully laid out and I had so much fun looking at all the Christmas decorations. If you want something for that special someone, Gearys has what you're looking for!

I genuinely wanted to have a great experience with Gearys…read more The Beverly Hills store is beautiful, and I respect them as a long-standing Los Angeles establishment. I would much rather buy a Rolex locally through them than go through the grey market or keep searching elsewhere. I also understand that Rolex watches are limited, and I know no customer is owed a specific watch. My first real attempt to start the process was at the Gearys Rolex boutique in Century City after I moved near the area in early 2020. I spoke with an associate I remember as Steven, expressed interest in an Oyster Perpetual and/or Datejust, gave my name and phone number, and understood from him that the wait could be around two years. At the time, I thought: okay, two years is a long wait, but at least there is a path. It might not be today, but two years can go by quickly, and I was honestly happy just to be able to get on the list or into the process. After that, I never heard back from him. I texted him and later returned to Century City to follow up. I asked for Steven again, but was told he was not there. An associate named Joana was there and offered to help. I again expressed interest in the same general Rolex category. I did not think I needed to restart the whole process because I believed my information had already been taken and that I was already in whatever request or wait process had been described to me. Over the years, I came back in person a few more times. Each time, it felt like I was speaking with a different sales associate, and I never really received a clear status update, request confirmation, or follow-up path. It also did not always feel comfortable to keep asking, because I did not really understand how the process was supposed to work. In 2023, I returned to Century City and tried on another Oyster Perpetual. I still hoped I was building toward eventually being offered one or at least being considered. After that, I honestly started to feel like the Rolex path just was not going to happen for me. I did not really understand what I was supposed to do differently, and after years without real follow-up, I started to let the idea go. What made it difficult was not just that I did not receive a watch. If someone had communicated with me over time, even just to say there was no update or that the watch had not come in, I would have understood that very differently. It would have felt like closure. What felt hard was not knowing whether I was actually in the process at all. Then I read more Gearys reviews from customers describing great experiences: associates helping them, follow-up, updates, first Rolex purchases, available pieces, and people getting watches they were hoping for. I was happy for those customers, but that was the exact kind of experience I had hoped to have. Reading those reviews made me think maybe I still had a fair shot if I tried again the right way. On June 19, 2026, I visited the Gearys Rolex boutique on Rodeo with my girlfriend. We were looking for an Oyster Perpetual 36 or 41 for me, and an Oyster Perpetual 34 or 36 for her. She had recently finished her master's degree and had a birthday, so we were hoping to mark that moment with something meaningful. The store itself was beautiful, but I left feeling confused and honestly disappointed. I was told the watches were hard to get or not available, but I did not leave with a clear understanding of what the process was, where my old request stood, or how to be fairly considered going forward. Afterward, Maral, the sales associate who helped us, texted that she would "update the request," which I appreciated. Honestly, that was the clearest response I had received in over five years, and I appreciated it for that reason. But I still genuinely did not know what request was being updated, whether my prior Century City history was connected to it, or what the process was supposed to be. I am not a huge collector, a celebrity, or one of the store's biggest customers by any means. I am just a local customer who was hoping to get a fair chance to buy meaningful watches for myself or my girlfriend through an actual authorized local boutique. As a Black customer, it is hard not to wonder whether I was perceived differently or not seen as the same kind of serious customer. I sincerely hope that was not the case. But after trying through Gearys for years and still not understanding where I stand, it has been a disappointing experience. I still respect Gearys, and I still think the stores are beautiful. I just wish the process had felt clearer, warmer, and more inclusive.
