We're on our second cat who gets groomed here - often pop in for a nail trim, sometimes a brushing, a trim, our previous kitty would even get a Dino or Lions cut! They're also awesome with dogs and other pets - just ask! This family run business LOVES animals and it really shows in the care they give in the friendly facility right on the main street of Greenfield.. SUPER affordable compared to others. Please TIP generously. let me tell you, THIS cat is a scared cat. When others tried to trim him, he ran to hide, and was on edge the rest of the day. Overall it was fine. I chose to go here for the first time since I got a gift card. While I am aware my dog is not too keen on getting groomed, other groomers have never complained about him, not that Greenfield did. But they did shave him lower than I would have liked (which is fine, itll grow back) and they left his head and tail very very puffy which is just not a stylistic choice I would make. But oh well. Will probably bring him again to use out the gift card, and be more clear about what I would like him to look like, but jury is still out for after that read more

My aussiedoodle has high anxiety and was groomed at home. I was unable to continue to groom him by myself anymore. Donna has 30 years of experience grooming difficult animals. She and her coworker were able to manage the grooming with little difficulty. Donna was able to structure the process to require minimal time in the salon And thus reduce my dog's anxiety. I left the grooming salon completely satisfied and relieved that Donna was willing to work with my dog and had the skill set to confidently and professionally handle him. I have been taking my dog to the Greenfield groomers for over 10 years. She's a Labradoodle and she's old. I never had a problem with the folks there. Today the woman that works there was the rudest most unprofessional woman that I have ever met. My dog has tumors on her body and the last time I went she did a very good job. Today when I brought her in the woman was swearing at me and was very very rude! She said that my dog scared the "sh!t" out of her. She could've just said "I'm sorry I can't cut her because I'm afraid of cutting her" in a professional manner. She was so rude And her voice was very loud! If I could give less than one star I would. I was told that because a medical director was available anxious dogs could be given light anesthesia, the opposite is true. The receptionist told me just to give him his anxiety meds. I dropped 2 large breed dogs off at 10:57 for brush and bath, by 12:40 they were apparently done. Before leaving I had asked if the dogs were able to stay after their appointment until my husband could pick them up, they said yes. But I began getting hourly calls, they then reported they would charge me $15 per dog for 4 hours of boarding, when my dogs had been there for 2.5 hours total. When I went to pick my dogs who were "done" up, they were soaking wet, hard clumps of hair falling from them and nails had barely been touched. All of the groomers had left even though hours of operation at 8-5. The receptionist/finance woman refused to provide her name after attempting to call the police for unpaid services on services that were absolutely not complete. They've then continued to harass me, sending texts that say "DO NOT SCHEDULE" and though my appointment was a few days I had to threaten with the magistrate for a refund. read more

I am crying over my mistake in visiting this groomer. When making appt I asked if certain areas could be avoided and told yes. Several warning flags I wish I had paid more attention to: 1) Appointment too easy to get 2) Not one other dog in salon on a Sat afternoon 3) Manager gave me an impatient frustrated look and hardly paid attention when I explained what areas of dog I did not want clipped. They proceeded to cut off every beautiful part of my dog's coat. I doubt it will ever recover and he has some irritation on his hind quarters that he has been obsessively nursing since visit. I am beyond saddened at my mistake taking him there. read more

We took our puppy, Wickey, here for his first ever grooming and it was a huge success Not only did his cut look great, he also smelled really nice and even got a cute little Thanksgiving themed bandana (not shown in the photo because he wiggled out of it lol). We started taking our Aussiedoodle puppy Pax here when he was 4 months old and they never disappoint! The first visit was a "puppy cut" just to get him used to the experience and noise etc, and he seemed very calm and happy afterwards which was great! We've been back a few times since and recently asked for a shorter cut and we absolutely love it and he looks soooo handsome! The staff really listen to your requests/concerns and the prices are very reasonable too - puppy cuts costs less and as they grow into an adult (especially with hair that mats easily) the price will increase but remain affordable. I know sometimes dogs feel traumatized by the groomer, but Pax is ALWAYS excited to go to Greenfield Grooming and is so proud of his cut after!! these people cutted a piece off my dog's ear, covered it up with skin glue without allowing me me to examine the injury, lied to me that it is because of matting, and charged me full price. i am only able to find out ten days on because i have not been able to remove the skin glue they put on! these people have no honor, dishonest, and absolutely disgusting. read more

We've been taking Herman to this salon to get his nails trimmed for over a year now. They're always super friendly, quick and affordable! Plus a huge bonus for me since I never have cash, they accept cards! It wasn't until recently I decided to give their "Bath and Brush" a try! And I'm so glad I did. Just one little bit to mention, the site may say "walks in welcome" near this section, but they're not for a B&B, you need an appointment :) Herman has been in twice for a B&B, and they have done such a great job each time. We took our anxious pup their after a botched/half finished haircut from another groomer the week before. They were really kind and efficient and made me feel like we were in good hands right away! The groomer took time to talk to me about my dogs anxiety around grooming after and give me a few recommendations. Took our mini golden doodle here. He had bad matting on his legs and beard, which we discussed with the groomers before the appointment. We asked that they make an attempt to remove the mats without shaving him to the skin but understood they'd likely have to buzz some areas down. Two hours later and we picked up an unrecognizable dog. They shaved his entire body, including his back which the groomer acknowledged was not matted. Seems like no attempt was made to accommodate our request whatsoever. Needless to say, we won't be repeat customers. This place is the Supercuts of dog grooming, but worse. read more
