I called this locksmith by looking at CL Ad. Ben's advertisement info was pretty neat and elaborate. Left him a voicemail. He promptly called me the same day, we scheduled an appointment and he quoted me a price over the phone. He was on time for the appointment, gave me a 15mins outcall, explained the job what he will be doing in a very thorough fashion, super professional, also told me he will reduce the price as the lock is a simpler lock than what was described over the phone initially. Please add one more 5 star review to GreenKeys Locksmith! I own a small business where the front door lock was failing. I did reach out to several locksmiths for quotes. 2 of 5 responded...Ben responded within minutes. The other 2 quoted between $190 and 360 to replace the "mortise" or "strike plate", which I know nothing about. Neither explained them to me. Ben came to our shop and I immediately felt a sense of relief. He is SO HONEST, and his customer service puts you at ease. After a couple turns of a screwdriver, the lock was functioning again. What I appreciated most about Ben, in addition to his good humor and self-proclaimed geekitude, was that he gave us visually different keys for each lock. We had him in to change the locks when we moved into our new house. He gave us a round-head key for the front door, a second shape for the door to the garage and a third shape for the door to the deck. The deck had a different upper and lower lock, so he gave us the same shape key for each lock but made one silver and the other gold. "I made the top one gold and the bottom one silver," he told me, "so all you have to remember is that gold is worth more than silver." I love it! read more

There's really nothing like great service with a smile! I locked my glove compartment box and couldn't get it unlocked. Ben walked through my house with me and I described everything I wanted done (making all exterior doors open with the same key, fixing old hardware, installing interior locking knobs, etc.). I was very fortunate one Saturday morning to have Ben available. He was able to quickly pick the keyed pin from a bumper hitch protector at his location. I contacted GreenKeys Locksmith for changing the innards of three door locks in my new house. When it comes to home security, I never spare any expense but not only was Ben extremely good, his prices are also quite reasonable. So double "yay" for me! Ben came to my house at the scheduled time and quickly disassembled the door locks and swapped out the pins. He tested everything carefully and noticed that the deadbolt was being stopped half way due to the shortness of the hole in the door jam. He quickly fixed that by drilling an extra few inches in the door jam and the door lock now works perfectly. I really appreciated Ben's professionalism and attention to detail.
