My friends and I stopped by Greenland Market to try the new Saj Bakery and Shibam coffeeshop, and loved it! We first tried some baked goods, and the service was very attentive and fast. They let us sample before making our final decisions. The owners of Shibam were kind enough to offer us pastries to try on the house , and everything was exceptional. The lotus latte was a personal favorite. The coffeehouse is also a good study spot with nice decor and plenty of seating. Highly recommend!

It looks like Greenland Market has expanded from their humble beginnings in Dearborn to here in Canton. It's smaller than the other locations but it provides a good variety of fresh produce, frozen items, meats and Middle Eastern related products. One nice thing about it is they have a Cinnabon inside. I like the variety they have which is pretty standard for places like this, but it just felt a little crammed inside and it's not a spacious as some of the other grocers I've been to. Regardless it's still a great option for products that I generally used to get when I lived in Dearborn Heights. The place also just opened so the meat selection is limited right now.

Not a bad start! Congrats on the opening of a new market to Canton, at a corner where people have been waiting a LONG time to be filled! The place has great potential - nice and clean, friendly staff, and has Dubai chocolate! The produce seems fresher than Palm Market (Canton) but their prices don't seem as competitive as Papaya's (Canton). What I'm really looking forward to is the bakery and coffee shop! I would love the ability to buy freshly baked savory meat pies or something similar! Parking was free and plentiful. Loved seeing a show at Village Theater down the street after shopping at Greenland for some candy.

Great market in cherry hill village in canton. Wednesdays is called wacky and produce can be really cheap. Look for the blue signs.

I debated visiting the various Asian markets in the area and chose this one because of its size. I was able to find all the ingredients except for the pho spices, which I already had and had brought from home. The only downside is that all of their meat was frozen. Luckily, I was able to find fresh young hen at Whole Foods, which completed the meal.

Ambiance has always stayed the same: cute, cozy, and so comfortable. Now that the booths were removed and they only have regular table seating, service is a bit different (you order at the front or at the kiosk instead of someone taking your order), but I actually love how it all works! From an operational standpoint, I feel like it actually makes things go smoother and faster. Additionally, I don't know if it's just because I haven't had their sushi in a bit, but I felt like their portion sizes actually increased slightly (which is always amazing)!! Love love LOVEEE their sushi and hearty miso soup so much. Great selection of drinks from the fridge inside, and so many vegetables, fish, snacks, and essentials (e.g., hair care, toothpaste).

The premade food choices are growing by the day. They are always adding to their offerings with new flavors and tastes. I started coming to One world market in 1997 when it was first home by a husband and wife team. It was very special at that time to have a Japanese focused grocery store and I was so happy to have one in the Novi area. This has been my go-to for decades now. When it was transitioning from private ownership to the Noble Village group, owned by True World group, there was a transitional decline, thankfully, that didn't last long and things are developing very nicely. I hear even more growth is on the horizon as they establish an even greater presence in the building next door. I am also thankful that the integrity and the high-quality is very much present and everything they do. The service is always top notch and they try to open up a lot of lanes so people get through quickly because it is busier than ever. The word is definitely out. I've seen a lot of posts on social media and it's bringing in an even greater crowds, which is fantastic! Note: the on-line ordering is also so convenient and their sushi platters are high-level!

I met a nephew for dinner, a monthly get-together, but arrived earlier so heading into Hua Xing for some browsing. The market is right next door to their restaurant. My eye caught a set of Bamboo Steamers, designer Chop Sticks & long wooden skewers. Asked if they handled any Dim Sum items and was directed to an entire wall of freezers that contained SIMPLY PUT EVERYTHING! We started loading my shopping cart with all these goodies! Now in retrospect I should have purchased the frozen items after dinner, but got over excited and dropped the credit card. 50 minutes later, post dinner, I drive home just in the nic of time while all were still frozen. Plan to test my steaming skill set tonight - hot chile oil, soy sauce & sweet chile toppings are ready on the kitchen island. I also found out that you have to have a minimum of $10 otherwise you can't use credit card.

I also noticed some imported dairy aisle staples like milk (soy and otherwise), eggs (chicken and duck), and yogurt. Prices, especially for a store that mostly carries imported goods, seem pretty reasonable, though I honestly didn't end up purchasing anything (it's hot out and I wouldn't be home for a while). But now that I've been I can definitely see myself coming back again for a more dedicated shopping trip in the future.
