I had my car towed to this Greensky after getting into a collision, I needed a new front bumper, fender, and radiator, and some suspension jobs are also needed. The owner Sky claimed my insurance for the repair but he added many other maintenance repairs without my approval. They argue that I did approve of the job. I ended up paying an additional $1700 that I didn't approve. (insurance did not cover the extra) I asked a few people who work in the same industry and found that in the Korean community, he is well-known for overcharging and making false claims. Also, they do not have actual engine mechanics, only paint mechanics, they will do the bodywork and send the car to other mechanics. Maybe hire mobile mechanics to finish. I would not have taken my car here if I knew his poor reputation. The worst was his attitude, very unprofessional and nasty attitude. Sometimes bad luck finds you and there isn't much you can do. This is exactly what happened to me. I had two car accidents about two months apart. But in this process I met this awesome guy Sky who is extremely nice and accommodating. and his awesome team! (Nolan/Brian). I was rear ended at the red lights by a driver who was most likely on his phone and not paying attention. Because he literally slammed into my car probs at 20 mph, so it was a quite impact. His insurance paid for the whole repair/bodywork and the damage was around $14k. Amount is important because there was a lot of damage to the car including the chasis. I believe they had to cut the portion of the chasis and weld new metal piece back in. But Sky's team did an excellent job. Car looked brand new after all the repairs. Just when I thought I got my brand new car back, I found myself in an accident again about two month after the first accident!! As I was driving on the freeway, my car was hit by a rolling tire which got detached from an uninsured/ unlicensed driver's car! BAD LUCK! He literally lost one off his four tires as he was driving. Luckily, I was able to get a hold of the driver and again the insurance paid for everything (around $5k). Just As the first repair, entire process was smooth and repairs were done in a timely manner. BONUS: While my car was at the shop after the second accident, I had sold my gf's old 1996 corolla. A day after the sale, buyer tells me car couldn't pass the smog check. I call Sky, buyer brings the car to his shop and Sky fixes the car the same day. On top the repairs, fixes the issue causing loud engine and replaces one of the turn lights as it is weak. and let me tell you the best part ALL FOR FREE! What a nice mechanic! I'd never think a mechanic would have my full trust because of bad reputation of mechanics, but during this process, Sky and his team became more of my friends than mechanic-customer relationship. Horrible customer service, highly recommend looking elsewhere. Requested a quote to swap the grille on my Audi. They provided me a quote and time. I take some time off work to bring the car in. Person at the front barely acknowledges me. I tell him I had an appointment to swap the grille and then before he even sees the grille he said "10 out of 7 times they don't fit". He then continued to basically give reasons why he doesn't want to do the job they had agreed to take on. If they would have told me up front, fine no problem- there's other shops. The fact that they waited for me to come in to tell me they didn't want to do it, when I had taken time off work to bring it to them is truly bad business practice. read more

If I could give 1000 stars I would. My accident was unique, I was rear ended so hard that the bolt in my front seat broke. I had been arguing with an insurance adjuster for months trying to get the front driver seat fixed. Then I found Greensky. Sky talked to the adjuster and had the car inspected. He explained why and how the bolt broke during the accident. He was able to get them to fix the seat and he used genuine Mazda parts. It's never a fun thing to have to take your car in for auto body repair but Sky at Greensky sure goes beyond your auto body shop service expectations. First of all, he repeatedly called my insurance company to get the process started, then second, he called Enterprise and helped me to negotiate the best rate for a rental. My rate was 1/2 if what I was originally quoted from Enterprise by the time he made the reservation for me. Third, he finished my car when he promised and called me right away. Fourth, he went over the repairs and showed me that he used original manufacturer parts and pointed out what was done to fix my car. Fifth, he asked if I wanted to have my front license plate put back on (which would involve putting holes in my brand new bumper) and then installed it with a complimentary license plate frame. Sixth, he explained that the insurance company approved a part that didn't need to be replaced, so he credited me the difference, a savings of $200 off my deductible! He could have just charged me the full deductible as I owed that according to my plan and my repairs were over $7000. But he said, he realized I had to pay so much for my rental car since I had a rental for a month, that it would help to defray my costs. Unheard of!!! My car was beautiful and clean and I'm so happy to be driving it again. I hope I won't need auto body repair for a long time, but I certainly wouldn't hesitate to use Greensky again and refer him to my friends. The initial estimated time of fix was 3 weeks, it ended up taking a little over 4 weeks because of holiday season and Triple A clearing the supplemental fixes. I picked Greensky solely because of their stellar Yelp ratings so I don't know how it went so badly. Our car got hit while parked. A couple of tears to the rear bumper cover. Went on yelp and found Greensky. I drove over and showed Nolan the estimate provided by my insurance company. He said he could work with that. He stated that I could make an appt, he'd order the parts, have them ready and I could get the car back two days after I dropped it off. Easy Peasy. We had a 3 way conference call with Nolan and the insurance company and it was agreed that I'd bring the car in the following week on Tuesday. I dropped the car off around 9 on Tuesday as requested. I called Nolan around midday Thursday to see when the car will be ready. He tells there is a problem, that the bumper cover the insurance company specified isn't available. Seems like you would have known that on Tuesday when I dropped it off if you were going to have the parts ready when the car arrived but ok. Nolan says he is waiting for the insurance company to ok a supplemental request for a new bumper cover. As I find out later, the request wasn't emailed to the insurance company until 4 1/2 days later at night. Insurance company okays the extra charge at 7:30 the following morning. I called Nolan who tells me the authorization came through and they can order parts. We are now at day 7 of a "3" day turnaround. Nolan says it will be done in 2 days. I call 2 days later (mind you, every communication has been me calling Greensky. Not once did they call me to warn of delays.) Nolan tells me they didn't order all the parts and need the insurance company to ok an additional supplement and that we were looking at the next week to finish the job. I call my insurance company who tells me it's clearly a 3 piece bumper cover set and the original supplemental they requested was for only 2 of the pieces. So I call Nolan back and sternly request that he tell me exactly what I need to do to get my car back. From what he was saying I got the idea that 10 days in and they have none of the parts to fix the car. Nolan says he will try to get me the car the next day. The next morning he calls and says it should be done but they were waiting on the insurance company for the okay to buy the 3rd part so I will need to bring it back later to have the 3rd part installed. On day 11 of a 3 day job, I got the car back less the 3rd part. I called the insurance company. They still haven't received the supplemental request for the part Greensky forgot to buy. I was very impressed because not only did they fix the scratch, but after it was fixed, they also took multiple passes at fixing every little scratch and ding as well.
