Place is pretty sweet. You get a pretty fair size salad for around 7 bucks and it's generously packed with the good stuff( steak, chicken, etc). There's also always plenty of dudes working so you never have to wait long. They're all nice too. My only complaint is that they will unabashedly hit on your girlfriend. I love salad. this place is all about salads. the main dude will help you build one if you cant figure out the right salad. he will also recommend things to add if your in the mood for something. I have built my own salad and my boyfriend and i have ordered the suggested ones off the menu. It has all been crazy good! the steak one, i cant remember, is southwest chipotle something is fantastic! I noticed some complaints about log delivery time, but they give you forewarning of such and it's just something you have to accept if you want the product. SO good. The place is cute and always clean, employees are all cool and nice, sweet new benches out front. Not to be redundant, but the ingredient list is long and sophisticated. Working in manhattan, i order salads for lunch many times a week, but the options here are different enough that i look forward to my weekend salads! The portobellos are so tasty, grilled veggies, different kinds of olives, flank steak, fresh top-notch cheeses! Bushwick has notoriously been lacking in the healthy food dept for some time, I am glad to report that Greenstreets is healthy and delicious, and I have found myself ordering from them more than any other restaurant in the area. Their salads are tasty, and can easily be a full meal, the soups always homemade, and I love their sandwiches. Plus they're fast (I don't think I've ever had to wait even 30 minutes for a deliver) and friendly too. Once they forgot to deliver the dressing for one of my salads. I called them preparing for an annoying back and forth, since that's like asking a restaurant to please come back and bring a packet of ketchup. Instead they immediately apologized, delivered the dressing to me within 15 minutes, and gave me a free bag of chips with it. That, people, is service. I only wish other places in my area would take cue from them. Count a minimum of 7$ to deliver something to you compared to avg $10- 15 in the area and this place rocks them all. BTW - I've only ordered deliver from this place, so I've no idea what their actual restaurant it like. But their delivery service is top notch. read more

Bushwick lunch options are slim in area full of well-intentioned, but mostly mediocre cafe's/restaurants. Greenstreets, however, is a godsend. I usually order their "build-your-own salad," and they're great. Absolutely affordable, great selection of ingredients, and very filling! A gem of a salad shop in Bushwick! Moving from California, I knew the thing I would miss the most was the produce. But somehow, every salad I've ever gotten here is just as good as it would have been on the other coast. Their greens are always super fresh and crispy (and they don't advertise this, but their spinach is organic), their avocados are spot-on perfectly ripe, cut fresh before your eyes, and the rest of their produce is always tasty and fresh. And unlike other salad places, they don't skimp on anything - including goat cheese :) Their portions are crazy good for the small amount you pay. And if you don't know what you're feeling, they have chef-inspired salads, as well as staff-picks (I think it is some sort of contest, which is fun). I've had their homemade soups, which are all tasty - and quite a deal to add-on to a salad - but if I am looking for something with more heft to it, a "campesino" panini is to die for (I like my goat cheese and avocado!) The staff is all super friendly and they get pretty busy during lunch and dinner, but they always move very efficiently through the line. I haven't gotten delivery as they are so close to me, and I hear that it can be a little slow, but I would expect that with as busy as they get. But I would imagine that's also a small price to pay for such a cheap, healthy meal delivered to your stoop. Love. Love . LOVE. I go to GreenStreets Salads at least twice a week and have NEVER been disappointed. Their ingredients are not only delish, but their selection is phenomenal. I've never seen such a selection for salad mix-ins. Some of their more unique options include chorizo, crispy Chinese noodle, several pepper options and a wide variety of fruits and veggies. Their homemade soups always please as do their overstuffed paninis. If you are looking for a healthy option that is very reasonably priced, run over now!!! read more

Going in is a wonderful experience, but deliveries are a total nightmare. Sometimes we can get our food within twenty minutes, other times it can take over an hour. Worst customer service ever! Ordered a wrap and specified light dressing but received it completely smothered in dressing. I called green street to politely ask what my options were and they were very rude and would not exchange the wrap even though it was made incorrectly. Finally, we have a salad bar in Bushwick. No need to cross the bridge to get a fresh tossed salad. I had the Taco Chorizo salad. It was crunchy, fresh and it did not make you sleepy at the end. Great salad. If you try the Taco salad, be careful with the jalapenos, they are really hot. Overall, a great place. I am already planning my next visit, so I can try the soups. read more

This is one of the best healthy options we have here in New York. Both the soups and the salads are fantastic at this Bushwick dive and the prices are so refreshingly not Manhattan realm. The Cobb Salad with chicken is extremely fresh and you see them peeling the avocado and dicing the tomatoes right in front of you. You can taste the difference between this Cobb Salad and your typical Cobb that you'd find at any restaurant. Fresh is the word that keeps coming to mind. The bleu cheese really makes the whole salad come together as well as the fat free honey dijon dressing. The french onion soup is healthier than most and puts a much larger emphasis on the onion stock and less emphasis on the cheese and croutons. The soup is full of fresh and delicious tasting onions. The salad and soup came with hot bread and I got a beverage and the whole thing was only $12-$14. Very good deal. Very good restaurant. Superb employees. read more
