I got assigned to Seahurst by Qmerit to install a Level 2 charger. After not hearing from for two weeks. I called, left a message and emailed them and heard nothing back. I then got notified by Qmerit that my project was cancelled. I called Qmerit and got reassigned to Seahurst. After not hearing anything for a week I called Qmerit. I explained my lack of any communication from Seahurst regarding this project. Qmerit tried contacting Seahurst and they heard nothing back from them after three days. Qmerit assigned me new contractor due to Seahurst not responding to the status of this project. The new contractor gave me a quote for my installation in one day. Seahurst's lack of communication or follow up to calls and emails lasted over a month. read more

Was required to work with Seahurst on the installation of my home EV charger through the Hyundai program - not the smoothest or quickest process. Would give a 4 due to the delay but... Communication with Rob and team was impeccable once the installation process began. Appreciated their professionalism and work - in particular, going above and beyond to research and source a great landscaping company to help with the trenching needed as part of the project -- saving me hundreds. Wow, I had a horrible experience with these folks just trying to get a bid from them for a home project. Once I got the bid and called to ask questions regarding it, Rob was laughing at me over the phone and found humor in it. Disgusting. Bought a new Tesla and needed some charging at home, I asked around and Seahurst came up from a friend who also got their Tesla Wall Connector installed. They were extremely responsive when I emailed them and also took the time to explain why a hardwired solution would provide a long term reliable solution through numerous emails. When I booked the appointment through them, Miles and Rob showed up on time and was quick to assess the best way to install the charger where I want it to. We've had a lot of work done on our house and have had numerous appointments with plumbers, electricians, crawl space people, you name it. Not one job was competed as scheduled. I was pleasantly surprised that Rob and Miles were able to come out here and complete the job, gasp, as they promised. What really blew me away was Rob's attention to details. He didn't just do the install but found unnecessary wiring in my panel. I appreciated that extra level of care. That was apparently skipped over or left by at least two other electricians! They offer a lifetime warranty for EV Chargers but frankly I don't think I'll need it. But it's good to have in my back pocket :) read more

Rob installed a 14-50 outlet in my garage for charging my Tesla. Overall, my experience was outstanding. I needed my outlet installed on the opposite side from the breaker box. But instead of just going with a simple approach running the conduit along the walls and the ceiling, Rob was able to accommodate my request and run all the wiring behind the walls across an accessible attic above the garage. I have recently retired from the Chief Electrician position for one of Trident Seafoods largest Batter and Breading Plants, a position which I held from the turn of the Millenium until this year. Rob recently installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage so I could charge my Tesla. He did a great job and I'm 100% satisfied. The quote was reasonable and the final invoice was the exact amount he had quoted. He was super friendly and answered all my questions. While another electrician said I would need to run a new line inside the house from my electrical panel, Rob said that he could run it outside so no need for any inside drywall work. He provided estimates for both NEMA 14-50 and Wall Connector with load calculations for my house. It made my decision to go with the Wall Connector much easier. The advantage of having a hard wired wall connector vs. NEMA 14-50 mobile connector made sense based on the load calculations. Working with Rob at Seahurst Electric couldn't have been easier. Our Tesla wall charger quit working. Telsa recommended Seahurst. Rob returned my call the same day and setup an appointment for the next morning at 7 a.m.. He texted me that he was on his way which was great. After checking the unit out he gave me a few choices on how to proceed. We decided to replace the charger.
