Let me start by staying that place is absolutely phenomenal. A year after getting married, I decided it was finally time to get my wedding dress cleaned and preserved. It took quite a beating and the bottom was extremely dirty. The fabric is unique with a lot of beading and glitter, so I was a bit nervous to take it in to any cleaners. After searching around, I decided on Greenway Cleaners from their great reviews. Mike was so friendly and thorough in explaining how the dress would be cleaned and stored. He made us feel so comfortable and it was a really great value for the service they were providing, so we decided to move forward. We went to view the dress today and WOW - it looks like the day I first picked it up!! Completely spotless, beading and glitter still intact!!! I used to come here all the time when I was in college to get my shirts dry cleaned. Of course I always waited til the last minute to get my dry cleaning done but I always knew I could count on Greenway to get it done by the end of the day. I really took that one day service for granted. Most recently, I had to get a piece of graduation regalia cleaned before the ceremony. Of course I waited til the last minute and brought it to a different dry cleaner. The result was less than satisfactory. With two days left to spare before the event, I decided to make the drive to Greenway and see if they could fix it. 8 hours later, I am glad to say that the garment looks even better than when I first got it. Greenway saved me (and my bridesmaid dress) last minute before the wedding. Another cleaners company had dry cleaned the dress and somehow created a water stain ring around the bottom hem that wasn't there when I first brought it to them. They couldn't get the stain out after dry cleaning it 3 times and I was out of time, and patience. They gave me my money back and called Michael at Greenway right away. With only a few hours to spare before my flight, Michael stopped everything and cleaned my dress flawlessly the first time. I don't know how he did it, but it was nothing short of magic. These guys are pretty good. I'd say my dry cleaning came back as expect, and my laundered items came back clean. My real advise to the business is learn how to fold shirts. In over 25 years of business travel this is the first cleaner I have ever been to that didn't know how to fold a dress shirt .... Unfortunately I had to take them all off the hangers they provided and refold them. UPDATE: In response to the snarky remark. This is really a laundry 101 item. Call any of your competitors if you are confused. FOLLOW THESE STEPS Lay the shirt flat, making sure it's buttoned up Fully buttoning the shirt will ensure a tight, wrinkle-free fold. Fold the sleeves to the middle of the back Fold in each sleeve horizontally, so that the cuffs cross over the middle of the back. Take care not to fold in the shirt's side seams. Fold the sides to the middle Fold in both sleeves again, this time bringing the shirt's side seams in evenly from shoulder to hem, so they meet under the collar, forming a broad V shape there. (The sides won't necessarily meet farther down the shirt.) Fold in half lengthwise Holding the bottom of the shirt with two hands, fold shirt in half lengthwise from the bottom up, so that the bottom edge of the shirt rests below the bottom of the collar. (Do this once or twice, depending on the length of the shirt and the depth of your storage space.) Flip folded shirt over and store. read more

I've been going to Greenway Cleaners for my dry cleaning since I've moved to Orange. I was so happy that they actually professionally clean and preserve wedding dresses too! My wedding dress was so dirty, but they were able to make it look brand new! The price was extremely reasonable (way cheaper than some of places I've called). The turn around time was quick too. The staff are always extremely helpful and honest with me. One time I wanted to alter my dress pants, but they told me that it unnecessary and that I should spend my money elsewhere :) read more

I am picky about many services and dry cleaning is in my top 5. It always makes me nervous dropping off $200 shirts or $1000 suits to a place that charges $1.50 per article of clothing. So when I first went to Greenway Cleaners, I definitely asked a lot of questions from cleaning methods to the chemicals they used. The Owner (Mike) is very customer service friendly and thorough. He went through each article of clothing with me and pointed out the areas he would address and the expectations of the outcome. This was refreshing and eased my anxiety knowing that my articles of clothing would be in good hands. Mike has never disappointed and my clothes have come out clean and fresh every time. There is no harsh chemical smell like other cleaners and he goes easy on the starch which I really appreciate. I can't recommend Greenway Cleaners enough for their quality and ridiculously low prices. For a person that used to spend over $50 a week on dry cleaning, it's nice to get the same quality for less than half that price. read more

They DEFINITELY lost a customer!! I found them on Yelp a while ago and used them a handful of times. Normally I would deal with the younger guy working the front (the one with the glasses, I don't remember his name) and I had pretty good experiences each time, which is why I kept coming back. HOWEVER, today (Friday) I went in to drop off some dry cleaning that I needed back by Monday. The guy working the front was a different guy (he had a heavy accent) and he told me the clothes wouldn't be done until WEDNESDAY AFTER 5PM!!! When I asked as to why it would take almost a week to get my clothes he said because they will not even get dry cleaned until Tuesday. So, essentially, even though I was dropping off my clothes on Friday they would just be sitting in a bag until Tuesday. Then he went on to tell me they had already shut down their machines for the day (it was barely 3pm), they don't dry clean anything on Saturday, they're closed on Sunday, and Monday is a holiday so they would be closed then too. Therefore, the earliest he could get my clothes back to me would be Wednesday after 5pm. I could not believe it!! And what's worse is that he didn't even offer the Tuesday pick up time until AFTER I pointed out the sign on their window stating "same day service; drop off at 9am and pick up at 5pm." Needless to say, I gathered my clothes and found another dry cleaners that day who offered me next day service. So I'll be picking up my dry cleaning tomorrow from my new cleaners, which is a few days earlier than I expected! I'm truly disappointed though because I really liked Greenway Cleaners, but after this experience I'll never be back. read more

Dry cleaning is already expensive so when I came across the $30 for $50 deal on Yelp and saw the decent reviews, I thought I would give it a shot. After I walking into the store, I recognized the store manager/owner was from Naber's in Santa Ana (which was equally bad). I gave over 20+ pieces of clothing, majority were all my work clothes. Upon getting them back, I noticed that the stains were still there and the collars on ALL my work shirts were still soiled. Isn't it common sense to clean the collars when someone wants their shirts cleaned? The store owner/manager seems very friendly when you first meet him but if you request something or complain, he becomes very defensive. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the service and will NEVER return to Greenway or any Naber's associated business again! read more

After having my wedding dress cleaned here it was missing pieces and material unraveling. Mike was rude and lacked empathy for how upset I was having me paying nearly $200 for a cleaning. When I picked up the dress a bra cup was missing, fabric was unraveling and bustle hooks were missing. After I called mike he had me bring it in again after the event to fix the mistakes his team made and said we would discuss reimbursement after the errors were fixed. He kept blaming the fragile dress fabric but since they specialize in wedding dress cleaning I asked why they don't account for that or at least check their work before returning the dress to clients. I left it with him again to fix. I went in to pick it up and asked if we could discuss reimbursement for the errors. He asked what I thought was fair and I said getting half back seemed fair. He said "I think nothing is fair". I was so taken aback by his smug behavior when I am talking about how my wedding dress was ruined for a once in a lifetime event after taking it his establish and paying so much money. Based on all the really high reviews, I expected a lot better from this place. Instead, the clothes often just look like they were ironed and not cleaned, the interior looks pretty run down, they only allow credit cards over $10, and the owner seems to have a surly attitude whenever I've gone there. I used them for a while but when my favorite suit came back looking like they didn't even try to clean it, I decided to try another dry cleaners near me, Kona Cleaners. What a difference! I went to this dry cleaners yesterday for the first time after reading all the reviews. I worked in my uncles dry cleaners for about six months when I was a kid. I'm not an expert but I do know a few things about the business. It has always been hard to find a dry cleaner that delivers the quality of service my uncle delivered back in the 70's. I had a short conversation with Mike when he took in my order. I am looking forward to doing business here. Can't wait to see the results when I pick up my order next week. Dropped my stuff off on a Thursday and was scheduled to pick them up on Saturday. Right off the bat, that is a quick turnaround, which is awesome. That Saturday I got off work at 6:30 and went straight here to come pick up my stuff. I had no idea that they closed at 5 on Saturdays but when I went up to the door there were still two people inside. I knocked and without hesitation one got up, unlocked the doors and helped me pick up my order. I couldn't believe that after a full 1 hour and 45 minutes after closing that they opened their doors and let me pick up my items. I don't think I will take my dry cleaning anywhere else. After my former dry-cleaners retired and closed their business, I spent several months searching for another great dry-cleaners. Most of my clothes require dry-cleaning (plus I hate ironing), which means I need a place that is convenient, reasonably-priced, and does a great job. I finally found that with Greenway Cleaners. For the past 6 months or so, we have had our clothes cleaned on a weekly basis and have never had an issue. Everyone who works there is very helpful, professional, and friendly. Stains are always removed and everything gets done in a reasonable time-frame. I've had to rush a few orders with no problem at all. I can't comment on tailoring/alterations other than getting a small hole fixed in a pocket lining, which was repaired just fine. I was surfing Yelp for a good cleaners and after considering several locations I picked Greenway based on previous yelps. I was concerned about the negative review they received not too long ago until I noticed that the manager, Mike, had responded and it turns out the reviewer didn't share the whole story. Mike greeted me personally when I visited his store and was clean cut and sociable. I had plans to go to an alterations place after Greenway since it was my personal opinion that a business has 1 specialty. Well after talking to Mike I decided to let them take care of my alterations and save myself a trip. Mike listened carefully to my instructions and was very patient with me. He even accommodated a short time frame on 1 of my shirts allowing me to pick it up on Tuesday (dropped off Friday). I picked up both my dry cleaning and altered clothing today. The clothing to be altered was a few jackets, including my expensive snowboarding jacket, and a tie that was falling apart. I thoroughly check my jackets and tie and what I found were expert alterations I really wasn't expecting. They were all like they had just come off the rack. The Tie was so professionally done that I almost thought he went and bought a new one for me. I was impressed by Greenway's friendly and patient customer service and its good dry cleaning and expert tailoring. I highly recommend Greenway if you need both dry cleaning and alterations. The guy working said "give them 2 min. & you'll be on you're way". Awesome. Charged me $2.00 and apologized that it took in 3 min. I found the BEST cleaner. Period. Now, I know what you're thinking. What's the big deal, right? I'll just say, wouldn't you rather do business with good people who take pride in their work? It makes all the difference. I brought my business clothes in one day. They cleaned them and I returned like normal to get them. Only, they weren't having a normal day. With a cleaner, the service and expectations are pretty much as old as the Nile. Clothes....clean...that's about it. A mouse trap is more complicated. And it can only get more complicated if you let an engineer loose on the scene. Especially a Viking engineer. The clothes were not ready. I was unhappy. I stormed off to get them the next day. I was wrong. The owner is a good business man and runs an excellent business. Machines break. So do proper manors. I apologized to the man. He could not have been more gracious and more pleased. I leave out the names here on purpose because this post can apply to everyone there. And here is the reason...he provides an excellent service. Even with the machine trouble, it was fixed quickly and he adjusted my prices down, and it was more than fair. He did all that he could. In fact, cleaning the clothes, ensuring my professional appearance for my end of this bargain, was done so well, that THAT was never at issue. That was not ever talked about. The job itself was done so perfectly that I didn't even take the time to say thank you. That is how a professional does this job. If it's done just right, you never even notice. How many other businesses consider invisibility to be a compliment. What was not invisible was the pleasant beginning and the perfect ending. If I move from here, I plan to ship my clothes to this place cause I know that if I let them make my clothes great, no matter what, the job gets done. read more

This should be your spot for dry cleaning. Granted, I've only come here once, but all the right signs were in place. Both the owner and another employee were very professional and accommodating. I came here on a late Friday afternoon to drop off 5 shirts and needed them cleaned by the next morning. They told me that it would be done by 5 PM the same day! That's fast service. The owner also provided me with a 10% discount from yelp! We chatted for a while and he seems like a great guy. I know there's 1 negative review on here but some stains just can't be removed if they've been there for a long time and if it's something super gross. My shirts came out nice and clean.
