Over two and a half hours to wait for an oil change is not a reasonable expectation of customers that have a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Not having extended wait times is one of the primary reasons for scheduling an appointment versus just showing up. If your business is short-staffed, you all need to either not accept walk-ins or scale back on the number of appointments scheduled (probably both). Your service person (Cameron P) either needs refresher training or a different job that doesn't involve dealing with customers. His apathy, lack of organization and professionalism, and unhelpful demeanor is not a credit to your business. There were a few shining moments, the two ladies behind the counter maintained their professionalism and patience while dealing with a few other unhappy customers. A young man named Armani went out of his way to provide assistance even though he wasn't my assigned advisor. Unfortunately, and due to the ridiculously long wait time I had to leave without the service being completed. A quick trip to a Valvoline location and my car's oil was changed in less than 30 minutes (without my having to get out of my car). I gave Greenway the benefit of the doubt and have been more than patient a few times where I've had to wait for extended periods of time. This time, I had an appointment and I've decided...no more. As a loyal and paying customer, I deserve better. Until Greenway makes significant changes to their processes and staff, I'll be getting my car serviced elsewhere. read more

I was at Ford 2 weeks ago, and I've been meaning to write this review because I had such a great experience! I had been putting off some recalls on my car for a couple of years. Finally, something happened and I needed to get my car in immediately as it was unsafe to drive. I called the night before and they were able to schedule me first thing in the morning, which was such a relief! From the moment I pulled up, everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was a very welcoming environment, and that's not something I have to say about very many businesses these days. I was able to get a rental car easily (also shoutout to the Hertz manager- she was so nice!!) and they had everything finished with my vehicle within 6 hours. Well to make a long story short purchase a car from greenway ford and the deal was I would buy the car if they give me a second key for they told me they didn't have a problem with that and they didn't want to lose a deal over it wrote me a we owe and then charged me 600 for the fob. Then when I got home to look at the stick they gave me there was the we owe and then the contract showed a charge for a key of 600 dollars well I freaked out and no one has taken care of this matter with me from the dealership when I call I get hung up on when I text no answer and when I called the G.M. no reply thanks you greenway for being so dishonest..If you or your owners would have any decency you would refund my 600 dollars because this is fraud and one you write a we owe that means you owe it to me ...... read more

I do not recommend coming to their service department. First they quoted me an hour to 90 minutes to do an oil change. Three and a half hours later they come out saying they found the battery was bad and needs to be replaced, that it would be 20 minutes. An hour and a half later I see the car pull up to the drive finished. Wait 20 minutes for the advisor to finish the paperwork, finally give up and go seek her out, gives me an excuse of I've been busy. Walk out to the car and find a wire hanging that was not there before. Instead of taking responsibility to fix it, they say is it aftermarket and you'll have to now wait for the guy who replaced the battery to come back from lunch.. hour later and the car still hasn't moved. Total expected time 90 minutes, been here now 360 minutes and it's no end in sight. read more

I purchased a 2020 Kia Sorento SX from Greenway Ford of Orlando, Florida, around the end of November of 2023. Pierre was the first salesperson, who initially wrote down a higher price for the vehicle, than the advertised price, I had initially told him, and thankfully, I caught it, sent him the ad with the picture of the Kia from CAR FAX, and he had to correct it. Made me wonder. If you buy a vehicle here, you better watch out, very closely, because I have no doubt, I would have been cheated, if they could have gotten by with it, in my opinion. It is a shame, that those who won't do things right, give the other salespeople a bad name. Those bad players have no conscience, in my opinion, and we should not let them get by with it. The vehicle has a second key fob, that I was supposed to receive, but it is now, Dec. 20th, and I have, yet, to receive it. I have not received my car tags, and no one at the dealership seems to be trying to do anything about that, either. I contacted the General Manager, Theresa Hordge Martin, who came across, in writing, as she was going to correct everything to my satisfaction. However, she has not contacted me, again, though, she did send me the sale papers, that I never got to see on paper or review, before purchasing the vehicle, including the CAR FAX. Later, I learned, Pierre was supposed to review the CAR FAX with me, and I was supposed to sign, that I understood it, as I had continually requested to see a copy of the Service History. Instead, Pierre brought out a paper, after a long wait for me to speak to financing, and he told me to initial it, and then, simply took it away. I never saw the CAR FAX to review, until the General Manager sent me the sale papers, about two weeks after the sale, which, I might add, contained unanswered blank spaces, and incorrect information, just as I wrote to her, after seeing it. Unfortunately, I did not hear from her, after that. I had even told Harry McKenzie, that I wanted to see the Service History. So, there is no doubt, he knew, I had not seen it. And as for the interst rate of my loan, which Pierre had told me was 8.5%; it turned out to be over 15%, which I was not told and shall have to have refinanced. There is much more to this review, but a rating of one star should say it all. So, do not let them have you electronically answer with your signature, when there is no way to read all you are signing. It's a gimmic and a scheme, in my opinion. I did catch one thing, and that was the incorrect price quote for the vehicle and extended warranty payment per month. How outrageous is that? I kept telling Harry, that I had no idea, what I was signing, as he continued to point to where I needed to continue to click. I told him, the system was making liars of us all. I would like to help those who oversee the practices of car dealerships, who won't play ethically, be fined significantly and reported to the public for their bad deads. All is my opinion, but it is the absolute truth, just like me requesting Harry McKenzie in the Financing Department to cancel my extended warranty, as is my right, in the light of not believing that I could trust him. How sad is that? I contacted him to cancel it Dec. 5th, 2023, but he has yet to email me the form to do it, as he said, he would, and today is Dec. 20, 2023. In my opinion, you should avoid this dealership. My review will not end here, as this is just a part of the whole story involved, and you can believe, Greenway Ford has not heard the last from me. I actually was highly dissatisfied, and felt I was disregarded. I went down the road, and was offered a better deal for literally the same car and less mileage. I was choosing between an Chevy equinox, and a Mazda CX-5. I almost walked out with the Equinox down the road with less miles and cheaper, but I fell in love with a CX-5 instead. That had an interior I loved. Carlos and the other gentleman whose name I cannot remember missed out on a sale. Deceptive Pricing on Website! The website clearly lists MSRP and "cash price". For the car I was looking at they were the same. MSRP is the manufacturer suggested price...the window sticker. When you go to the dealer they are charging $10k+ over sticker. That is a dealer decision and is NOT the MSRP. When I asked why the website is misleading and was not transparent that the dealer was charging OVER MSRP, I was told that's the way their website works. How about being honest and showing the actual MSRP and then being honest and showing the additional $$s it will take to buy the car? Nothing like using the website to lie about the MSRP of a car then when you stop by you find out they are charging way over MSRP and not being honest or transparent. Performed a fuel filter job incorrectly on my Ford F-250 my truck started leaking fuel from the filter housing. After jumping through several hoops I'm currently in the process of having them fix it. When you buy a new truck and have repairs under warranty they claim to give you a rental. When they service your vehicle improperly and it's out of warranty they tell you their out of rentals and want you to drive something that resembles a mini van to meet with customers for my tree service company while they fix the mistake they made on my f250. It's not bad enough that my wife's last service tech misplaced her keys to her car and they gave us un-programmed keys as a replacement but now i spend a lot of money on having a "professional Ford technician" perform a service incorrectly. read more

Within the last week we purchased and returned a used 2016 Ford Explorer from Greenway Ford. Details below.... We came to an agreement on the price of the vehicle and the trade-in value at closing time on a Friday. Before signing for the deal, my husband asked the salesman, Vadim, for the second time if the truck was able to be upgraded to apple car play. He indicated that is was able to be upgraded, no problem. So he signed the paper. My husband asked our salesman and the sales manager, Troy, around what it would cost to upgrade the system to apple car play. We were told that it could be upgraded for about 300$, which sounded reasonable. The following Tuesday we drop the vehicle off to be detailed, have a couple service things checked out, and have the system upgraded to apple car play. After waiting for over an hour (even though I was told I would get a free rental if it was going to take more than an hour) I pushed for getting the rental car I was promised and left the dealership. The next contact I had with the dealership was a voicemail from Teresa Martin that said my vehicle was ready to be picked up unless I wanted the apple play installed for "twenty one ninety nine." I called back and said 21$ and 99 cents, we will do it! She then informed me that the cost was two thousand and ninety nine dollars (not sure I've ever heard that amount conveyed as twenty one ninety nine). I told her this was going to be a huge issue because we were told that the vehicle was able to be upgraded easily and at a wayyyy lower cost. My husband called and after lengthy discussions with Troy and Teresea, he was informed that they were going to do "an internal investigation." After their internal investigation they apologized for the incorrect information and offered 500$ of the apple play installation or a discount on a different vehicle. My husband told Troy on the phone that he is not interested in other vehicles and just wants to receive his truck back. We waited at the dealership for about two hours to receive transaction cancellation forms (bullshit) that we never ended up receiving. Troy never initiated interaction with us the whole time we were at the dealership. Vadim and the internet sales woman Michelle tried so hard to get us into a new car. No discount in sight! My first impression of this dealership was a good one. The salesman and manager seemed very sincere and personable. They may truly be nice individuals, however, they are at greenway for one purpose: to make a living selling cars. I am very disappointed in Greenway that they shared incorrect information about the vehicle and did not put forth the effort to rectify their mistake. ABSOLUTE WORST dealership I've ever went too. The service department is a bunch of idiots. They are uncommunicative, held my car for 2 weeks and not once offered a rental. Failed to tell me how long my vehicle would be there, and when I got it back a week later my engine almost blew up and I had to get it towed because of oil leaking on my engine, that they stated was NORMAL when checked through a diagnostic. Now I've been another two weeks without a vehicle and had it taken it to another Ford where they are giving me the engine free of charge as Greenway was going to charge me regardless of it being their fault. I had the displeasure of purchasing from Greenway Ford last summer. I am leaving this review now because I feel potential buyers should be aware of what to expect from this company and because of my own awful experience with Greenway. The broken key fob (mentioned below) has now completely fallen apart, potentially leaving the car un-drivable after only owning it for about 6 months. Also, after reading a recent NPR article featuring a Greenway dealership; buyer beware (https://www.npr.org/2023/02/04/1152932192/yo-yo-car-sales). The salesmen, a team of 2 (although I primarily worked with 1 guy) were very nice people. Here are a few of the highlights of my purchase: * The sales person over promised and under delivered on the condition of the car and the financing. The car needed some body work in 2 places and he assured me it could be fixed. He later informed me that the larger area of damage could only be fixed if he raised my purchase price by thousands of dollars. He never followed up with me to schedule the smaller promised repair. With regards to financing, we discussed no money down and I set a budget for my monthly payment, neither of these promises were kept either. * The finance person tried to guilt trip me, while signing the paperwork, because of the financial gymnastics he had to do as a result of the overzealous salesman. It was extremely unprofessional to be scolded by the finance person because of mistakes made by the sales person. * My car was originally supposed to be towed to the Fiat dealership for repairs. After a couple of days of not getting ANY communication from the Fiat service department I decided to pursue a trade-in rather than a repair. It was at this point that I discovered that my car was lost. It had been delivered to the Kia dealership instead of the Fiat dealership (the mistake of a 3rd party tow truck). While trying to sort out this situation and find my car to assess its trade-in value, one of my salesmen was threatened with violence by another Greenway employee. Ultimately, I found the car MYSELF on the Kia lot after being told via phone it absolutely was NOT on site. * At the test drive and during pick up of the car it was open, engine running, and a/c blasting. I assumed this was just a courtesy on the salesman's behalf (not the 1st time a salesman has done this during a purchase) until I got home and tried to lock the car with the key fob and it didn't lock. I changed the battery and it still didn't work. It's really underhanded to conceal a broken key fob under the guise of being "courteous" to avoid the cost of having it replaced. I think about my terrible experience with Greenway every time I have to manually unlock my car, with the key, like it is still the 20th century. After my experience I would not recommend ANY Greenway dealership. read more

HORRIBLE!! We found a vehicle online and used the Live Chat feature to ask some clarifying questions. Scheduled an appointment and drove 30 minutes to Greenway Ford. We had specifically asked Carter from Live Chat to confirm the vehicle was at the Orlando location and I have screen shots that say YES, it is in Orlando!. So we drove there only to find out it was in Tampa. So, o.k. mistakes can happen. BUT then the salesperson said if we wanted them to transport the vehicle over, we would need to pay a deposit and agree upon a price (for a vehicle we haven't even seen). The salesman spoke to a manager who never even came over to speak to us and clarify the mistake and when we walked over to speak to him; he was dismissive, rude, and disrespectful. Again, we understand mistakes can happen, but they did NOTHING to try and keep us interested in doing business with them. I have recently leased a brand new 2020 Ford Explorer from the Greenway Ford dealership in Orlando Florida. There has been a complete unsatisfactory customer service that I have received from this dealership. It started on 11/09/2020, for someone to tell me that they did not have my appointment. The young man brought out a service advisor named Terry, and he advised me my vehicle is brand new & not to worry. We will get the recall on the back camera fixed, installed & there should only be a reset button that should be done on your transmission. Your vehicle should be ready by 12 PM the following day which would be November 10th. If it is not ready by that time, A loaner vehicle will be given. During that morning & mid day I did not receive any contact from Terry. I sent a message via the text messaging system that their company used & also called the dealership. When Terry did call, he gave me the unfortunate news that yes, there is something wrong with my transmission. He stated there is some thing I have that is called a hard downshift and that my transmission needs to be taken out and looked at. However it is not that simple because they are truly backed up & my vehicle cannot be seen until 3-4 weeks. Only after it is seen by a technician will they provide a loaner vehicle. I do not understand why he would say he can provide a loaner vehicle and then say another. It is unheard of for a new leasee to a brand new vehicle that is only 4 months old to not have any sort of help from the dealership. They say it is out of their hands. David Nelson, a care relations director , provided me a contact number because he himself said he was not able to help me. When I called, I spoke to Kristen Hearns from the Customer Relationship Center SUV team. She got all the info I provided & she sounded hopeful that she was able to help me. She then comes back and says the same thing that Terry had mentioned. How can a huge corporation like Ford, allow a customer to be carless for 3 to 4 weeks baffles me. And for every single one to continue to say and I quote, "I understand what you are going through..." Please stop agreeing or trying to relate to the customer. Clearly they do not know what I am going through. They do not have a situation where they are carless for 3 to 4 weeks and no way to get around. How am I supposed to get my groceries? How am I supposed to pick up my kids from school? Or get around and get to work? Who will pay for my transportation to/from where I need to be for the next 3 to 4 weeks? I would also like to add, on November 11, I had gone back to the dealership to pick up my kids' car seats. And a summary of the interaction that I had with David Addison the manager from the service parts I informed him I would never have left my other dealership to come here if this is the type of service given to a distraught customer. His response to that, "Why did you leave then?" My answer to that, I left because of the phenomenal reviews I have received from my friends who are Ford owners. I left because of the service that was provided. I left because Ford is an amazing company. Clearly I am mistaken. The dealership will not help you. I would give zero stars if I could. These guys should be thrown in jail. They are shady! I leased a Ford Ranger from them in 2019. Now when I was trying to buyout my lease they started tacking on fees like crazy. On the app, it said my payout was 23, 677.60. So, I called to make an appointment and they told me it was going to be 26,808.98. This includes a "Pre Delivery Service Charge" (900), processing fee (250), electronic filing fee (60) and a tire fee of 5.00! I understand there is a process to filing all the paperwork, transferring titles, etc, however there are already fees built in for that stuff in the beginning, we as customers just don't see it. All these fees had an asterisk next to them which read "these charges represent costs and PROFIT for the dealer for items such as inspecting, and cleaning....etc"They weren't inspecting or cleaning anything! They literally were saying the truck is AS IS, no warranty, nothing! And why are they charging for tires? I'm keeping the tires that are on it. So, back to the story. I called and said...uh uh. You must have lost your mind. I am not paying all these fees . FYI, there have been numerous articles talking about car dealerships adding on fees when leasing. It goes against the Consumer Leasing Act of 1976, and if you already paid, you can actually get a refund on those fees. Google "pay a dealer fee when buying out a lease", many Orlando TV stations have run pieces on the scam. So I spoke with Hassan and he quoted me my initial number, plus taxes, plus a tag fee. So i head to the dealership... I get there and meet Michael George Jabron. He brings out a paper that says I owe all these fees, but the price is lower now. Now I only owe 25,518. I told him I wasn't;t going to pay these fees again. He says it's not a problem. He has been doing this for 15 years and this is the way it is and that I can talk to the finance guy. So, I meet the finance guy Josh. Jos immediately knows there is going to be trouble because I opened with, I am not paying these crap fees, and according to the Consumer Lease Protection Act of 1976 you can't add fees at the end that weren't agreed on in the beginning of signing the lease. Josh looks a bit stunned, then walks out. (this is where things get nuts)... They Bring in Alvaro (General Sales Manager). A very large and aggressive man. He is going to try to manipulate numbers and come up with crap scenarios and try to bully his way into getting what he always gets, which is ripping off the customer. He gets mad when I meet him toe to toe and tell him I am going to sign and pay for exactly what we agreed on in the beginning. Finally he acts like he is going to carve, they lower the payout cost of my truck to make the numbers line up so that they can still have all their line items show all their dealer fees. At this point...I am not getting screwed, but I think their agreement with Ford may not be being upheld. I told him I want to pay exactly what I owe, and I want the line items for the fees to show 0. They told me their software doesn't do that (I highly doubt that when they wrote N/A all over other lines). I'm not a coder, but I am also not an idiot. Alvaro then says to me, something to the effect of why do you care how the numbers are being distributed when you are paying the same price. I told him that I am apparently a more principled person, and I just want what I sign to reflect exactly what we agreed on. Nothing more, nothing less. He again tried to talk down to me in hopes that he might bully me into this like he clearly has done in the past. Comically, I had my wife on the phone who is very knowledgeable about car sales, and she said, we will just record this call to make sure that Ford is aware of what you are doing. Because someone is getting screwed for sure! He then said I needed to leave right now! I made sure that I witnessed him shredding my paperwork and then I left! I had a 8:30am appointment and I'm still here waiting for my rotors to be fixed. It's now 3:40pm and I'm missing work. My car sounded terrible and I couldn't wait any longer to get some repairs done. It made a horrible grinding noise when I turned left. I didn't think it would take this long and I would be out $90 from not being at work. Diana is a very good advisor. I like her..and the staff is very friendly and down to earth. No one here has a stick in the mud attitude. The AC is cold..yes people I'm shivering but rather have this than be out in 95 degrees. The place is CLEAN and no fumes or anything near by. The estimates over the phone and in person were 100s of dollars in difference. $480 for rotors and my bearings...OMG...well over $700 (not doing it today). I tell the negative story at AutoNation first to emphasize my POSITIVE one at Greenway Ford! I went to AutoNation Ford in Sanford, FL and worked with a sales consultant named E****** R******. They had several Mustangs in the showroom. We started working on the specific details & I settled on a Black GT Premium with Saddle Leather & no other options. E****** looked in his system and found an exact match to the car I wanted at a dealer in West Palm Beach. He went off to the Sales Manager's office, came back about 10 minutes later, and said "yes, we can get that car. I can have it here in 72 hours". I said, ok let's work on the numbers. After working the pricing, my final all-in total was $32,700. I said "Write up the paperwork." About 1/2 hour later, my paperwork was all signed, and I had put a $500 deposit on the car in anticipation of having it in about "3-4 business days". I said there was no rush as I had to take care of the financials with the bank anyway. 10 days went by, and I had not heard anything from Esteban. I had him bring me the Director of Sales R*** R****** to look me square in the eye and tell me that this wasn't going to be a repeat of AutoNation. They promised I could have the car by this time tomorrow. I said ok, go get the car, and I'll sign the paperwork now. Sunday morning I went down to GREENWAY and sure enough - there was the car, complete with the Mullinax decal right on the car. VIN number matched the paperwork, and there was nothing wrong with the hood. We finalized paperwork, went through the technical specs of the car, and off I went. It took a grand total of 1 1/2 hours from the minute we walked in the door on Sunday to being on our way. I went straight to AutoNation to go get my deposit refunded. The folks at Greenway Ford have been wonderful - from C**** P*** to R*** R******* all the way up to L** M*******, the General Manager - all have been fantastic to work with! THIS is how a dealership should be. I am honestly surprised to read the negative reviews. This was not my experience at all. Very laid back, casual, friendly, low pressure, helpful, positive....I would have to say the opposite of what I've experienced at other dealerships in town. Worst dealership in Florida. Do not buy from this dealer. We're in 2020 and they're still practicing shady car sales tactics like we're all dumb. It's insulting. My wife and I found a car online that showed the car had 28k miles for $26k dollars. We drove 1 1/2 hours to go see the car. When we got to the dealership, the car had 32k miles on it. After the numbers were ran, the total of the car came out to be $30k. After looking at the numbers, we realized that the dealership was trying to charge $3k for a luxcare package. When we told the sales person we didn't want the luxcare package he became rude and told us to bad that's a mandatory purchase because that the stuff they did to make the car look newer, it's a charge that was on every car. That was funny because when I was talking to another customer, they didn't have it on their numbers. When I asked the internet salesperson about why I was being charged it and the other person was not , he told me "You are buying a nicer car then he is." I thought it was mandatory on every car not just nicer cars????? I asked to speak with the GM and was told he left 2-hours earlier. It seemed like I upset the sales person when I told him we were not getting the car because i felt like the luxcare was a scam. He went to the sales desk and started talk trash about me to another sales person who told him to tell me to get out because they don't need my business. I asked both of the sales person what they said and they asked what my issue was. I told them I was getting charged a scam deal and they promised me that the luxcare was on their website. They were "100 % sure it was in the fine print." 8 car searches later the charge was nowhere to be found and both sales people were still talking trash. Magically after 45- minutes the GM came out of the back to take off the scam charges and gave me a deal I could not pass up. I still think it's funny how the GM who left 2-hours earlier was available after I proved the guys wrong. I didn't continue to work with the first sales person which peed some of the guys off since the whole time I was working with the other guy, they were talking about me to each other and giving me dirty looks. I bought my wife her car she wanted; however, I will never do business with them again. BEWARE OF THE RECON AND LUXCARE CHARGES!!!!!!!!!! If the GM didn't magically appear and gave me a good deal, I wouldn't have bought a car from them. They were the worst salesmen I have ever dealt with when buying a car. For a family owned dealership, they really need to find people that will treat their customers like family and not try to scam them with hidden charges. I brought my car in for recalls on Saturday. They told me it would be done by the end of the day. Then they told me that it wouldn't be until Monday mid morning. Here it is 5 o'clock and I got somebody waiting to take me there. The representative Kevin Has not return my phone call. He just call me back to tell me that the car won't be ready until sometime tomorrow. This is a crapy way to do business! read more
