Excellent customer service; they will offer to order items if they don't have them. Lots of reliably fresh produce. Fun unique items to try.

This place is very convenient but they repeatedly sell expired things. Just today, I came home with organic juice that was expired.

I am very grateful to have a local market, that is open seven days a week - even on holidays.

It was more than $50 for admission and apples, but you'll find few bargains in this category. As a benchmark, a place in Warwick has free admission but requires a $40 apple purchase. Outhouse is a better late-season option than most. As of last weekend, the Macs were past their prime but the Ida Reds were abundant and available on easy-to-reach trees. Mutsus were longer but Suncrisps were a reasonable non-red alternative. There was a decent stash of Fujis. There's a good chance of finding taxis at the Croton Falls station. There's more traffic to the orchards than from, so when making your reservation expect possible travel time of 20-30 minutes up the hill. You'll want to take many photos of the excellent scenery, from corn mazes to rolling hills, but keep your phone charged for a return Uber or Lyft; waiting and surge prices are possible but I haven't been stranded yet.

There's a lot of add ons like corn maze and apple picking but that's on top of the already steep price. The hay ride was cute, but as they were driving near the apple trees, we could see that most of the apple picking is done. Good thing we didn't pay for a bag. You can actually purchase good looking apples at the produce stand in the front. Parking spaces were ample, a lot of portapotty and some fun activities here and there like pumpkin patch photo ops, duck race, a bouncy house and a hay stack. The only saving grace was the food. It was actually decent pizza, chicken tenders and fries. The apple cider donut was okay, sweet but not as fluffy and soft as I hope it to be. The hot dog was a miss.

No u pick apples but they have every variety imaginable in the stand and all were fresh like they were picked that day. Plenty of other farm fresh veggies and honey. There is also some spots to eat outside and a food truck with some pizza and bbq options. The road to get here is a little rough. Super narrow and some spots where only one car can pass at a time. There is a parking lot and street parking available. Would very much depend on the time of day and year you are going but we were able to get a spot in front at the end of the day. There was a lot going on throughout, including awesome live music, hot apple cider, farm store filled with gourmet products, multiple food vendors, pumpkin cheesecake tastings, and of course the vast orchard where all the apple trees were, which were all located uphill. There were over 10 different types of apples, such as Mutsu, Evergreen, Macoun, Snapdragon, and Honeycrisp. I mostly collected the more unique kinds. I also managed to locate the Pear trees, way behind the hay riding area. I picked Asian and Bosc pears. We went on a hay ride, which was $5 and it was rustic, bumpy, giving a sweeping view of the beautiful orchard grounds. Back in the main area, we had lunch. By this time, lines were pretty long, so we divided and conquered, as well as found a place to sit. I shared Pork Ribs and Fries, which were both very tasty. The Ribs were delightfully tender and well seasoned. Fries were perfectly crispy. One draw back was that most everything at the store and most lunch items were quite expensive. Overall, there were great vibes, and I really enjoyed the views at the farm, apple / pear picking, as well as the hay ride.

We started down at the bottom of the hill with "Apple Cannons" ! Pneumatic launchers that lobbed our apples into an old truck, pumpkins, hay bales, and fun targets. So awesome! Then we headed up to the main event and wow! It was a total vibe! - A live band playing exactly the perfect country music you'd expect at an apple orchard on a cool fall day. - Vendors selling soft & hard cider, juice, various hot foods, and my personal favorite, hot fresh apple cider donuts! - Costumed characters walking around passing out trick or treat candy to the kids. - An Apple orchard! Row after row after row of apple trees, most were picked pretty clean, but we found lots of juicy and delicious fruit waiting for us on the trees. You can wander around and eat whatever you want or buy a bag and take some home... We did both! Inside there's a general store and souvenir shop as well, and everyone we let or talked to was helpful and friendly, but we had all our fun out in the open.
