The admission prices here were way higher than around where I reside in CT. As soon as we entered we saw the haunted house on the side and entered, it was fun. There was so much to do, we went on a hayride that stops for apple picking, we walked through the largest corn maze I've ever got lost in, we watched a magic show that had me laughing, the magician got the kids all hyped up and it was hilarious. There was a large fire pit we surrounded to warm up, live music, a petting zoo, and even a mini amusement park the kids enjoyed. My bartender serving up spiked cider was friendly. I bought cider donuts, and wow... no wonder there's a line all day with a one-dozen limit per person. They were warm, fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. The food stands were a little disorganized, the fries portions were inconsistent, the food was trash too. overall, it was such a fun fall outing with the family.

We picked a beautiful Saturday! However It's can get really expensive on weekends during September even before you pick the apples. They charge $30/adult for "festival " thank goodness I didn't bring the kids. Then there's additional $40 or $22 per bag of apples. The parking lot was full. They are making a killing . They had a corn maze, that was fun. Music was great. Super long lines for fast food. There's also a petting llamas n goats. The apples are soo yummy. I see people eating the apples so I had to taste a few too. Omg, I Never tasted apples like this at Wholefoods, the courtlands were so sweet n crunchy. He honey crispy looked ugly w spots but they were very good. Carry some water n paper tower to clean apples they have a coating that cleans easily n apples are nice n shinny. It was fun but it was expensive.

Oh my goodness! This was such a beautiful day weather wise and all. I've been wanting to do a corn maze for a while and finally got to do it. If you're wondering yes, I found my way out. Yay me! We picked some apple, went on the hay ride and had lunch with some apple cider. Fun time was had by all.

    Haunted house--well done actually.

APPLES. I have never had this happen before after an orchard visit so. Here is the scoop on our apples. One by one (too) many of the apples like combusted (sort of) or turned into water bags. So some apples split open like the hulk, all by themselves. And other apples became liquified on the inside and only continued to be contained by the fruit skin. They literally turned into water balloons. Weirdest thing ever. Not even normal for apples to go bad like that, in my experience.

1 Star (and that's being generous) I've been going to Barton Orchards for over 10 years and wow, what a downfall. Everything's overpriced and the quality is gone. Two tickets? $75. A tiny bag for apple picking? $22. I waited almost an hour on a long line for "chicken tenders" that turned out to be sad, dry chicken nuggets, $15 for that mess. My daughter's mac & cheese looked like soup, and they were out of the pulled pork she wanted. She didn't even eat it. The lines were endless, the food was awful, and the whole place just screams money grab. It used to feel like a cozy, family-run farm with amazing fresh-baked treats, now it's just prepackaged junk and disappointment. Barton Orchards really fell off. I won't be back, not even for the memories.

This place is huge. Be prepared to walk. I've been here twice. Once a few years ago for their festival and that was insanely busy and then today which was during the week and that was nice and calm. Today only some items were opened like their market, and the taproom. But on the weekends this place is busy ... the food stands are open, the corn maze, they have music, haunted house, they have pig races and so on... check out their website because it's pretty insane. Please note on weekdays it's free to walk in but weekends there's a fee (that's what we were told). There's different sections for children to play in throughout the farm. The orchard is huge. Plenty of apples for everyone. The corn maze is amazing, we did it a few years ago (different shape than this year) and we got pretty lost . You should definitely check this place out. Come on the weekend for a full experience.

I think most of the complaints are about the pricing on the peak weekends. We went on a weekday with friends, a toddler, and our dog and had a lovely time. There was no fee for entrance at all, we had most of the place to ourselves and could wander at our own pace. We enjoyed the pumpkin patch, picking our own apples- we have a pie baking at home now to enjoy. We also loved the goat walk and the petting area with the alpacas and other farm animals. Our dog enjoyed herself and there was so much room to roam and look around. Some areas were lacking in pickable apples but we still were able to fill our peck bag easily with 4-5 varieties. The farm is huge and has lots to offer including a cider taproom which we didn't get to but did look nice. While it's not the cheapest spot for apple picking I think on a weekday without the entry fee it's a great spot with a ton to offer for entertaining little ones.

Ok so here's the run down: It's expensive and kind of misleading when it come to their times. So it's 27/a pop to get in at the door - do the math when ur a family of 4 - just to enter 35 - online pp plus a bag to get apples 20 - starting price for an apple bag 15 - dozen donuts Various costs for food 3/$20 for potted mums And farmers market areas plus a hard cider area and ice cream This farm is huge and offers a ton ton ton of things to do especially on the weekend at the cost of 1000s of people being there as well. Live bands food stands bathrooms play areas (at least 3) and petting zoo for kids veggie picking and apple picking. So yes if u make it early and buy online before they limit u off it's worth your money Their apple picking ends at 5pm along with the pumpkin patch and veggie picking Next at 6 ends the super fun play area it has tons of things to do 630 ends the corn maze and slip n slide 8pm ends everything So don't be fooled if they say Farm closes at eight because the reality is it's starting to close down at five so if you get there late thinking you have till 8 o'clock that's not gonna happen. A lot of people showed up really late with six empty bags For apples and when they arrive there they were out of luck they paid for nothing. Also would've been helpful that when you arrive at the front and you pay the full price submission and you're there at a later time such as us at 4 o'clock take a collector should inform you that at 5 o'clock apples clothes or at least give people a half price admission

Had a great time with my wife and dog Koda. Picked plenty of apples and enjoyed the music festival they had for St Patrick's.

The pies are super fresh and I wanted one of everything! They post that they sell at local DeCicco's as well but can't confirm if it's all flavors... No u pick apples but they have every variety imaginable in the stand and all were fresh like they were picked that day. Plenty of other farm fresh veggies and honey. There is also some spots to eat outside and a food truck with some pizza and bbq options. The road to get here is a little rough. Super narrow and some spots where only one car can pass at a time. There is a parking lot and street parking available. Would very much depend on the time of day and year you are going but we were able to get a spot in front at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend for anyone of all ages especially if you love apple cider donuts!

Not super friendly staff. The cheddar scone was suepr dry and tough - it wasn't flaky at all.
