We more or less stumbled upon it because we had parked in the garage just below. I really liked it. A great selection of ciders--I really like their Pub Dry--which you can flight. We opted to try a couple of varieties ourselves, rather than a flight, and they let us taste them before we committed. Food options were pretty sparse when we were there. They were out of all the folds (it wasn't even 6!), so all that we could get were sausages in a bun. Perfectly edible, but low-key. Locust's emphasis is certainly on the cider, less on the food! Staff was friendly and helpful. When my girlfriend accidentally spilled her full glass because the table was slightly rickety, they replaced it without question. That was so nice! The place is pretty open, with lots of natural light. Has a really good vibe. There are plenty of options for seating, but the place could easily accommodate more tables and seats. There's a lot of unoccupied floor space. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm downtown or near the Market.

Wonderful open space with tons of windows for people watching. Very unique spread of flavors and a much needed spot to just sit and relax after a busy day. They also share a space with a coffee shop so you can drink some cider and then get a coffee to go

They allow you to stroll through their orchard rows at your leisure. There isn't much there for entertainment, but it's an open area that serves cider, you can bring your own snacks and games, music etc. My kids really enjoyed chasing the bullfrogs by the pond. I had sort of assumed that the kids would get bored quickly and we would leave right away. But they were so entertained playing in nature that I couldn't get them to leave for hours, which made for a relaxing afternoon for me and my wife as we sipped cider and watched them play. The cider itself is some of the best I've ever had. I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur and I would rank dragon head as my top cider in the state.

We were warmly greeted and though our hostess was new, she did a wonderful job taking care of our large group of 12. Everything ran smoothly and she was great at keeping track of our progress. We learned more about the cider process and where they get their apples from. We really liked the port-like Pommeau and got a bottle of that at the end to share. They have a beautiful orchard that you can walk around in as well. Some nice seating areas scattered about or bring a picnic blanket. No food but maybe some snacks for purchase. We just came from lunch in town so I wasn't looking for snacks while I was there. I saw some people who looked like they brought their own picnic/food to enjoy there. No restroom on site but a porta-potty.

The awesome staff mentioned that their tasting room was close by so we decided to go the next day to try more of their bottles. Tasting flight is $15 with a $5 upgrades to try a liqueur and the non-alcoholic cider as a finishing palate cleanser. We bought their Pippin cider and ended up getting another set of their non-alcoholic cider. A friend bought their liqueur saying it had a very interesting and unique flavor that reminded him of childhood memories - that earthy, outdoors freedom he grew up with. The tasting room is a beautiful, open space and great to relax in as you sample the various ciders. You can also order full glasses if you have a favorite. There is a big patio outside lined with apple trees and lots of grassy area to lay a picnic blanket and more seating.

The tasting room was bright and modern and the cider experts that led the tasting were knowledgeable and friendly! They made what could have be mundane, fun! I came on a sunny day and sat on the patio! I had a view of the lawn and the vines! This made Nashi accessible to families with littles and pets! This has to be a stop on your Vashon Island day or weekend trip! I also love that it is a locally owned and operated business!
