This place was decent. We stopped on our way through town. Fish and chips were good, chicken fried chicken sandwich was OK. Salmon and the turkey club sandwich were good. Fries were a little soggy. Blackberry cobbler was ok. A lot of goo, but not as many berries as I would've liked. Not sure that it was a $75 meal, but good. Would not recommend this place at all. I do not see how it has such a high rating. The food was cold the chicken fried steak I'm pretty sure it was spoiled meat french fries tasted like they were made from year old grease. This is the worst rating I've ever gave to any establishment. I will have to say this is pure shit I would not eat here. There was 14 of us. My sides were fried green tomatoes and loaded mashed potatoes. We shared bread pudding for dessert. The CFS was delicious and the batter crunchy. Fried green tomatoes were very tasty. If I could leave less than 1 Star I would... we waited 45 minutes after ordering to finally get our side salad. Over an hour and still no food. While waiting we never had someone come by and check on us and had to ask 3 times to get water... What a great dinner. Their Chicken Fried Steak was hot and fresh. Our meal came with a side salad with homemade croutons and a lettuce mix that wasn't the wilted iceberg you see at a lot of places. In town for a baseball tournament. Stopped in to get out of the heat & cool off in between games. Walked-in, noticed the head chef was at the bar with his cowboy hat, they were playing country western music and the TV's had Yellow Stone going. I thought to myself, I like this place already.
