Chicken fried steak Mac and cheese and fried squash!
    Martha G.

Sunday lunch was great! Chicken fried steak was on point like always! Fried Chicken was as perfect as I'll get out! Juicy, crispy and seasoned to a T! Sautéd cabbage was delicious! Rolls were off today, but that has never happened before, so I'm gonna let that go. Everyone was so friendly and it seems like just a family get together, and less like a restaurant on Sunday after church. Lovely as always! Get some Dublin on the fountain or some sweet tea, they are both refreshing!

Granny Clark's in Dublin came highly recommended and was quite busy at lunch, for good reason! The staff were great and there were a lot of regulars. The chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes were so good!! I'll be back!

Ribs, CFS, Mac n Cheese and Grilled Zucchini

Went here for lunch on a Saturday, we got in and was told to find where we want to sit. After waiting awhile, a waitress came and took our drink order and explained that they have a lunch buffet. For $12.99- we had crispy on the outside country fried steak, fall off the bone ribs, seasoned fries, grilled zucchini and sausages. It was all deicious and really really affordable. This is really the charm of a small town.... The food!

I waited a solid 5-10 mins for wife's food and had no choice to start eating as it was getting cold. I finished my meal and still no pizza. Was told 3 more mins and about a solid 10-15 mins later her pizza came out. Really need to work on timing of food I guess... wife had to watch me eat mine and now as I'm typing I'm waiting on her to enjoy her food... Beer was ice cold. Chicken fried steak was amazing and Pizza pretty darn good the ranch is good!! saved it from a 1 star review. Waitress was good nothing she could do it was all on kitchen poor timing... Price wasn't terrible but nowadays you can't leave most sit down places with out spending over $60 or so.. For maybe 4 tables full and a couple at the bar. Sad to say this place won't last much longer.. it's good food but over the hour we've waited/ate it was just to dead to survive.. if it was in Stephenville I'd bet it would be packed and doing well!! Just a poor location.

The young female server initially told us the cooks don't like substitutions or changes. Which I told her was not something we hear ever or from a new business. She returned saying they would substitute the fries for asparagus which was all we asked. I was taken back by this but maybe it's inexperience. The salad and burger were tasty. My husband had a ice tea and me a vodka soda. The total was $43 dollars. The inside is large and can accommodate big parties. It's a good option in the area.

Tucked away on a quiet street. Nothing fancy at all about this place. My colleagues and I strolled right in and were greeted promptly by a friendly face. We walked past the bar and were seated right away with. Totally digging the rustic atmosphere and the western decor. We were given menus and drink orders were taken. We perused the menu and drinks were back in good time. Lots of good options on the menu, and a lot of different ways to order a burger. Our friendly waitress was very helpful with lots of other customizations of other orders. (sorry I did not catch her name!) Also quick with a recommendation or witty banter to a couple of smart aleck coworkers of mine. All in good fun of course. I kept it simple. A bacon cheeseburger with mayo and no veggies. I did not chose to upgrade my burger with the "toad bun" and got a side order of tator tots. (That is not a misspelling on my part. That's how they are printed on the menu). After some great conversations with my colleagues, our food arrived in good time. The room got awfully quiet as we got to it. My burger was nothing short of amazing. Very juicy, flavorful, and it did not last long on my plate. Bacon was crispy, cheese was gooey, and all on good bread. Tator tots were crispy and everything a tator tot should be. I did hear some of my colleagues who ordered the "toad bun" say the upgraded bun did not hold up well and did not hold up well to the juicy burger. They said it was tasty, but went soggy fast. So, keep that in mind if you order one. We finished our burgers, and walked up to the front to pay. By this time it was getting busy, and you could see a lot of the "regulars" passing the time with the waitstaff whom were all on a first name basis. Like that, we all were gone in a flash. I was very happy we visited this little hole in the wall joint, and hope to stumble across it again one day. Highly recommend this little jewel if you are in the area. Please drop in and give it a try. You will love it. Enjoy!

The restaurant is a decent size, but probably not so great for larger parties (10+). We were greeted right away by our waitress and she was very kind and attentive throughout our entire meal. We were told the restaurant was out of particular menu items, so if you're going later in the day we'd recommend calling beforehand or asking right away. To drink I got myself a "Crown and Coke" and ordered the "Pan Seared Chicken" as my entree. The Pan Seared Chicken was DELICIOUS. The plate consisted of: an 8 oz Airline Chicken Breast, served with mashed potatoes, pearl onions, wild arugula all soaked with a Espelette Beurre Blanc. The seasoning in the chicken was so flavorful and the skin on the chicken was cooked perfectly crispy. The beurre blanc elevated all of the other components of the dish and it left me wanting more. Absolutely delicious. Aside from the delicious food and wonderful service the ambience also contributed to our experience--multiple TVs with sporting events playing and live music on a small stage. We loved the rustic charm and friendly service. I ordered a ribeye which had an excellent flame grilled flavor. Sadly, that was the only thing that had flavor. My Brussels sprouts tasted bland and barely cooked, Mac and cheese wanted to be good, but missed the mark. My wife a wagyu burger that looked like a burger but lacked any flavor. The homemade fries were soggy and squishy. Dessert was a cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream and a chocolate swirl cheesecake. Do you remember having covid where food lost all taste? You knew what you were eating, but tasted nothing? Unfortunately that was our meal . Staff were lovely, peppy and full of joy. Sadly it didn't seep over into the food. I'm looking forward to coming back to glen rose to explore more, it just won't be here.

Nachos were disappointing. The chicken was seasoned so I'd say above average. The portion was large. But the cheese seemed canned. No peppers or onions. No sour cream, salsa, or guacamole. Patty melt was ok. Meat was a little chewey and bread was toasted but not flavorful. I will say that if you want pie. I watched a dozen carry out orders.
