We found out about this place when we arrived at the Hampton Inn. When we got there we were seated right away outside. (we had 8 adults & 3 kids) The canopy was nice and warm with the heaters on. The food was great. Everyone enjoyed their meal and didn't feel like they were overcharged. To make the night even better we lost one of our 2 year olds for about 5 min. I've been coming to Gregorios for 22 years (back when it was Spiritos) and it's just as good as when I had it back in 1997 I've traveled all over the US and get EP at restaurants all over the country, and I've never had anything even remotely close to being as good as theirs!... This restaurant is a "must. The Rosemary Baked chicken was scrumptious. The plate is full of lettuce, cucumbers, broccoli, sliced carrots, pine nuts, Gorgonzola, and topped with an ample amount of chicken. The Sicilian chicken dish was equally as good. The chicken was fresh and the bow tie pasta was excellent. Claire was a very gracious and attentive host. Our dining experience was important to her. Best gluten free crust on a pizza in this area, hands down! I have tried them all, trust me! Thin and crispy is how I like it ( not doughy or too bready). Went in for a 6pm Friday dinner on the patio. Great service, good food, just a bit on the pricey side for what I'm used to. We got two different pasta dishes, I liked mine (Vodka Cream Sauce) better than my wife's, but I don't remember what she had. She liked it though. Came here for salad and it was pretty good. The outdoor seating area is nice for relaxing and watching people on the street. The indoor seating was empty midday on the weekend. This is our first time writing a yelp, so please be gentle. Our experience with Gregorio's was one of the most pleasant that we've had as a couple. Considering that we've been together for 2-3 years, this is something that should not be taken for granted. We walked past Gregorio's front door with a printed Restaurant.com coupon ready, and didn't realize that we had missed the front door until we had done a complete circle around the perimeter of the building. The hostess laughed it off with us, and we were seated but not waited on until 10-20 minutes had passed. Normally, I would be rather peeved that it took them that long to process us. The place was not exactly bursting with people. I can probably attribute that to the location, but I digress. However, as soon as the bread touched down and our waiter opened his mouth, it was an entirely different experience. To put it in very simple terms, they treated us like royalty. Nick, the waiter, was charming and humerus. He apologized for the wait, etc. The Marsala was god. Alyssa enjoyed her pesto pasta, but it was nothing compared to my mushroomy heaven. I would have to say that this is the third most amazing breast I've had, coming closely behind two more PG-13 versions of the word. We wanted cheesecake, but they didn't have any in. Fortunately for us, we were comp'd a dessert to make up for our devastating loss. It tasted more like ice cream, but free is a wonderful thing. Alyssa gives it four stars for the food. I'd give it five. The value is somewhat questionable on some of the basic pasta dishes; buttery pasta should not be 16$+. However, the service and attitude of the staff easily puts this place at five stars. we went in frustrated at not finding the place, and left knowing that we'd come back even without a discount. I've never gotten bad food here. I generally order pizza, and it's always great, and so's the bread. When I went with my mom she ordered a salad, and it came out huge, beautifully arranged, and (according to her) very tasty. The decor and atmosphere are nice, and of course the best part about the place is that 100% of profits are donated to the local Boys and Girls Club. (: The only negative I can think of is if you come at lunch, service tends to be pretty slow. read more

This is probably some of the best Italian in the area. The inside is very small and stuffy but the patio is spacious and beautiful. The service is always very good especially the bartender Joel. The homemade bread is really good and they give you plenty of olive oil and vinegar to go with it. Don't fill up to quickly though! Both the pastas and the pizzas are very good here. Also ordered linguini with oil and garlic. Anyways great service. Although we couldn't eat there we just picked up the food and found a bench in the courtyard area and ate it. What on earth happened here! Being Italian and from NY, we have pretty high expectations of Italian food.. We have gone to Gregorios over the last few years and had experienced fairly good food but last night was extremely bad. We ordered an antipasto salad, chicken parmesan and Sicillian chicken. (which we have had in the past) The antipasto salad was served in a small bowl and consisted of lettuce, 2 thin slices of salami, 2 thin slices of some other kind of meat? 2 thin sliced triangles of provolone, a few olives and 2 pieces of cucumbers- not even close to an antipasto dish. The chicken parmesan was indistinguishable on the plate as the whole dish was a mountain covered with a canned sauce that tasted awful. The side pasta was also covered in this mound. The side dish on the other chicken entre was supposed to be penne vodka but was literally rotini pasta that tasted like boxed macaroni and cheese. The only redeeming item was the bread. Service was also good too. We can only assume that new owners have taken over.. read more

First time trying out Gregorio's with a friend couple. We arrived pretty early, 5:15-ish, and the place had a few parties inside and outside. The hostess came and went past us without even acknowledging we were waiting, but then greeted us and guided us to our table on the patio. Our server Catherine was friendly and attentive (we couldn't quite place her accent), and the food was great, the wine and beer list appear pretty extensive (no 805 though), and refills on our soft drinks. I had spaghetti and sausages (which were really spicy), and my friend's burger looked awesome. It was huge, and he only ate 1/2. Our wives meals were good, pizza and rosemary-chicken salad. As we ate the place really filled up, but we never felt neglected by out server. We lingered for quite a while, and were never pressured, or even asked to give up our table (I don't know - does such a thing even happen?). The only downside was the restrooms, as in the women's was out of service, and another diner told us he is a regular, and the women's restroom has been out of service for a long time. I have lived here locally for about 6 years and Tried to eat there tonight based on a recommendation from friends. We were seated and it took approximately 15-20 minutes to get water and place a drink order. Additionally, we were there about an hour before we were asked if we wanted to order food upon which we decided to just ask for the bill and go to another Italian restaurant in town. I would understand slow service if it were busy but it was not very crowded inside. While we were there we noticed that another customer had to get up and approach the bar for a water refill because of the service which really sealed the deal on us asking for the bill. I would have liked to have eaten based on seeing the menu unfortunately we spent about 41 dollars on drinks and didn't get a chance to order, the bread was good though. read more

Just met a business friend here for lunch today and we were both incredibly impressed. I got the eggplant parm with gluten-free pasta, she got the eggplant parm pizza. The eggplant was so tender, it barely had to be cut. Flavors were delicious. Service was great. (Only thing I might recommend is to get cushions for the chairs outside. I loved this place but they stopped taking the Passport Dining Card so I'm sort of bummed. My friends & I drink quite a bit of wine so our bill was always pretty high & I tip really well as I used to bartend & serve! My wife and I went to Gregorio's on a reference from a friend. The lemon chicken dish came out swimming in oil and the broccoli was overcooked and army green in color. We took the leftovers home (don't know why) and the next day the oil had congealed the food into one big mass. We would suggest looking elsewhere for good italian food. read more
