Unfortunately my wife has had a ton of work done on her teeth throughout the years. We've seen dentists who recommended doing a full mouth reconstruction $60k. She's had multiple root canals and crowns. We went to our normal dentist who said she needs a new crown because a cavity is forming. But we weren't sure. We heard about Kaio Dental from another dentist friend and drove the hour drive from OC to see him. Let's just say we found our new dentist and are willing to drive that hour every 6 months. Dr. Tram is amazing. He taught at Western so he's knowledgeable and skilled. He understands its a changing field and one way is not the correct way. He also knows that explanation to the patient is key. He actually explained to use and showed us with a CT scan why she should hold off on the crown. There was a possible infection in the root so he recommended the imaging being read by an endodontist because if he replaced the crown and introduced bacteria into the area, it may cause even more pain. Something we had no idea on. He has amazing ethics. Isn't in it for the money. Just wants to be a good dentist. He doesn't do same day crowns anymore as he said it's too rushed and he wants focus on the quality since he does it himself. Great team, great office, clean, good parking.

Unfortunately, that was far from the truth. During an extraction, they Broke a neighboring crown. At first , they refused to take responsibility, and after I advocated for myself, the office manager's attitude completely changed toward me. The entire process became extremely stressful. The temporary crowns fell off the very next day, forcing me to go into my surgery without them. After tooth implant, they also forgot to send my prescription to the pharmacy. The office was closed Thursday afternoon and Friday, and I couldn't reach them until Saturday morning, leaving me without the prescribed antibiotic for two days. The permanent crowns finally came in two weeks later. To make matters worse, the manager, Mirna was consistently indifferent and dismissed towards me throughout this painful ordeal. The only positive part of my experience was Sandra , one of the assistants, who was always kind , professional and respectful. Before finishing my treatment, I saw another dentist dentist for different reason . After examining my crowns, the dentist pointed out that they were not properly reaching the gum line.. The entire office seemed to be in such a rush. It often felt more like a factory than a dental office, with everything being done quickly and without the personal attention I expected. I lost confidence in the work and decided do not to return, I cannot recommend this place.
