If you are also a long time S'bucks person & have wondered what happened to what was once a great coffee chain look no further for a replacement! Here is where the GREAT baristas have gone, here is where a CLEAN bathroom is ALWAYS avaliable, here is where great coffee can be had, here is where VEGAN food options are possible. Once upon a time I spent a couple of hours EVERY work day @ S'bucks. I enjoyed a comfy seat @ a table w'daily hard copy of NYTimes and my 'brought from home lunch' along w'free refills of reg. coffee & iced tea & coffee. As time went on S'bucks rearanged their facilities to make this increasingly difficult. No NYTs & fewer seats w'enough table space for even a laptop & B'rooms became inexcusable! Only pick up & go traffic was encouraged. More importently, to THIS vegan, even w'MUCH commentary on their web page about the total lack of vegan options aside from chips & cookies they ignored the fastest growing trend in American food EVER in that even NOW, Summer of '22 the closest thing is a vegetarian s'which that STILL has egg & cheese! Though there are ONLY 2 Gregorys on Long Island all we need is to show them how much they are appreciated & we will see more! Today I had a Beyond Flex and a cold brew coffee w'oat milk. There was scads of room to sit w'friends or alone w'book or laptop and for all I know there were papers avaliable. I didn't ask about papers simply because I had taken more than enough time w'baristas for an 'assist' in loading the Gregorys app. Old lady that I am it was first app. on my fairly new 'smart' phone since I was forced to give up a flip w'the demise of 3G! VERY friendly & helpful staff, a spotless bathroom & not only one but 3 delicious options for a high protein vegan s'which! THIS is what a coffee house SHOULD be! Yikes. Came in this past weekend in the early afternoon and the place was a mess. Garbage all on the counter tops, overflowing trash bins and behind the counter was just as bad. This place used to be so cute and well decorated, welp...that didn't last long. read more

Very good coffee. Almost as good as my local Babylon specialty coffee shop but there's one big exception. A hot caramel macchiato at Gregory is ridiculously overpriced. Now, I know everything has gone up with inflation and shortages and whatnot but to charge nearly $8 for a large seems kinda of over the top for me. My local specialty coffee shop goes for $6 for the same coffee. Good coffee. Terrible prices. read more

I got an Iced fall oat boy, it was almost good but definitely tasted watered down. The New Yorker sandwich wasn't so great, bacon was not cooked at all or crispy as stated. Giving it 3/5 stars because nothing was necessarily bad, just not great. read more

I've been such a major fan of Gregory's since inception. It's rare to come across a brand that so well caters to the diverse ways consumers eat these days. And the brand consistently strives to deliver (and does) a menu of items that welcomes everyone's dietary needs: from the old-fashioned faves to artisanal vegan/gluten free options. As well, coffee selections are pretty fantastic. Layer on top of this a welcoming, lovely team, and it's sincerely a pleasure to be a customer. Loving the tech forward experience too. At this location, Emily and team are just the loveliest. Knowing my husband and I have food allergies/sensitivities, Emily saved the amazing banana chocolate chip muffins for us, so we'd have a great day. read more

I love Gregorys's coffee shop! I love their matcha green tea. It's the best cause it's unsweetened and you sweeten to your liking not like other places. They have great selections in there menu and offer lots of vegan options! That's a plus for me. Wish they'd open up more out here, in Long Island. I've been to both locations. Currently on a coffee hunt on long island to find the best coffee! So far I have tried 10 places and this is by far the best. Stopped in today to get the fall oat boy and it exceeded my expectations. The place was not only aesthetically pleasing, but immaculately clean as well! This was a little bit of a hike for me so I hope that they open another location closer! I am a huge lover of cute coffee shops so when this popped up on my IG feed, I was excited to try it after class as it's right down the street from my college. The negative reviews deterred me a bit but I decided to try anyway. The inside is nice and modern. Lots of plants everywhere which I always appreciate (they may have been fake but still)! The girl who helped me was very nice and let me sample the coffee before ordering. I also got an avocado toast. Now for the food itself. It honestly sucked for the prices they charge. The coffee was ok but the avo toast was barely "toasted" and tasted stale. The avocado itself seemed just like a guacamole spread, not actual avocado and the seasonings lacked TERRIBLY compared to another picture I saw here on Yelp. I had to ask to exchange it for a banana pudding which was decent but also tasted like it probably wasn't fresh. I might come back here to try something else but overall it doesn't seem worth the prices. It's a shame because their marketing is awesome! read more

You average coffee shop! Parking is easy. The prices are fair. Everyone is extremely friendly! I loved that there was gluten free options. If you enjoy coffee, this is the spot to be! I tried the Nutella and the Honey Oat (i believe it was called). It wasn't anything close to either flavor in my opinion, but it was still decent. I didn't like that it wasn't made fresh and it came out of a machine tho. I would definitely like to come back and try more flavors! read more

I was very excited for the food options here. I love donuts unfortunately they don't serve the glazed doughnut. My old fashion donut seemed very stale/tough at 8:30 in the morning. I also ordered the New Yorker which the website states crispy bacon. It was far from crispy and the quality seemed similar to what I would've gotten at Dunkin' Donuts. Waited a very long time for a latte that actually made me gag when I took my first sip. There was so much clove in the coffee that that was all you could actually taste. I ended up dumping out my cup of coffee and there was so much clove that it was actually clumping in the coffee I dumped and all on the inside of the cup. I was really so excited for this. I was looking forward to a special Cappucino, something beyond the nearby Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Both myself and my guest were totally disappointed. First, the identical cups were not labeled to distinguish our two slightly different orders. Then the drink itself was not even a Cappucino, but rather a regular coffee with milk. We opened the lid to look because we couldn't believe how bad it tasted, there was no crema, no lathered milk foam, no anything except watered down awful coffee. I was really hoping to make this place a regular as it is new, clean and fresh, but the drinks were so bad that will unfortunately be impossible. read more

I almost gave up on Gregory's because it turns out I just don't like the Califia oatmilk they use. I'm glad I gave it another try with almond milk this time. It really let the espresso shine through. Aside from the coffee being good, the staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. I want to give a shout out to the barista who was extremely knowledgeable and even asked me what type of flavors I like to recommend a syrup flavor. I didn't catch their name, but they were so sweet. It really felt like an independent coffee shop and not a chain with the care the baristas put into the coffee. My only complaint is that the only iced coffee (non-espresso) option they have is cold brew; not everyone likes cold brew and I'm surprised they don't have regular iced coffee. But then again, I don't think many cafes do. But as for their lattes.. spot on! I also had a zucchini bread here once and it was delish. read more

I have gone here 3 times and this place is unfortunately disappointing. My best experience was probably the 1st time we were there because our drinks were good and they actually warmed our Chocolate Croissants. The 2nd time we visited, our iced coffees were ready but no Chocolate Croissants. We waited about 35 minutes to be given our Chocolate Croissants and at that point we already finished our coffee. It was really was unpleasant trying to eat it without our coffees to wash it down. What if I was in rush? This was ordered ahead too on their mobile app and they were not even busy. The 3rd time we came this past week, my fiancée ordered the Salted Caramel Iced Coffee and it was probably the worst coffee we've ever had. I thought she might have been exaggerating when she said "I can't drink this" so I gave it a try and it tasted like Werthers Caramel Candy on steroids. We threw out the drink and I felt so bad for her that I ordered and paid for a completely new drink. While this was all going on, I was still waiting for my chocolate croissant from our 1st order. One of the workers apologized and realized we were waiting for it and served me a Cold Chocolate Croissant when we ordered a Warmed Chocolate Croissant. It was pretty awful and I didn't even bother finishing it because it was just dry chocolate in a dry, cold croissant. The cherry on top was that they had the door/windows open to the place (understandable since it was a nice day) however there were countless flies all over the coffee shop ... BUT the worst of it all was that we were nearly stung by a wasp that flew in while we were trying to just drink our coffees.
