This cafe and bakery was seriously crowded today and I think the awesome weather had a lot to do with it. Not to mention I came on a Sunday afternoon. Most folks were camped out on the outdoor patio, and luckily there were plenty of umbrellas to pretext people from the sun. There were even a few dogs enjoying the scenery. And yes they had a couple of water bowls for the dogs as well I got the espresso machiato, two donuts, and an oatmeal cookie. The donuts are for tomorrow morning by the way. The cookie was pretty fresh and still soft when I bit into it. The espresso also was right on cue! The people were out and the vibe was cool. I couldn't find any outlets outside to plug in so I really could not stay too long without connecting. read more

Three Fifty is one of my favorite coffee shops in Dupont! Their drinks are always affordable and consistent. Their customer service is kind and helpful. I typically get their iced Vanilla or honey latte, but I tried their Iced pumpkin latte and thought it was really tasty with a strong pumpkin flavor and some spice. I ordered a banana bread which was moist and delicious. I've tried their zucchini bread before which was great too. I also enjoy their cinnamon rolls and quiches. I enjoy working there even though it can get a little loud and busy on the weekends. There's a lot of seating. read more

For those looking for gluten free this is probably not your place. They have one gluten free oatmeal cookie. Did not try the coffee because I had Yelped this bakery under the "gluten free" filter and I happen to be allergic to oats... Sorry guys, one gf item does not make you a gf friend. I can also go to Cracker Barrel and get a Splenda. Very cute outdoor space so hopefully they will actually get some gf items in the future! read more

1st visit- I ordered a dirty chai. STRONG on the cinnamon which isn't my jam. Very quick service, cozy vibe, crowded but quiet and spacious enough to be a good "work from home" spot. 2nd visit- I ordered an iced coffee and vegan apple zucchini bread. Three Fifty is my favorite spot in Dupont. It's a bright, clean spot with friendly staffs. I really enjoy their blueberry scone and latte - both are consistently good. One thing to note is that they don't have outlets for electronics, which I actually appreciate since it makes for a nice place to read or just relax without distractions. There's also plenty of outdoor seating, which is great when the weather's nice. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a quiet, comfortable place to take a break. read more

The yummiest pastries!! We got the mushroom quiche and a pepper jack scone, and both were fantastic. The coffee was also wonderfully priced, reminiscent of like 2018 prices ($4.50 for a 16oz latte) The space is cozy and compatible for 1-2 people tables. It can get busy, but there's a lot of space for a lot of groups to sit (though it can be tight). Come for the pastries, stay for literally everything else, it was fantastic, and I can't wait to go back. read more

Located about a 20 minute walk from the Farragut west metro station, this bakery was a crowd pleaser! I was there on a saturday morning and it was clearly a local favorite as people came in and out constantly. There is a good amount of seating both inside and outside for those who enjoy sitting outside. I will say an added bonus for sitting outside was seeing all the cute doggos. Vibes were great, there was ample seating - now onto the actual food. I got a classic iced vanilla latte which really is a standard for me. I enjoyed it! I think it was flavorful and a little too sweet for daily coffee consumption but it was a weekend and I was treating myself! The only reason I took off one star was because of the scone. I had high hopes for this pepper jack scone but unfortunately the flavor was kind of lacking and something about the texture was just not what I was expecting. Not a big fan of the espresso/latte - the espresso was bitter and the latte overall was diluted a bit, not sure what type of oat milk they use but it didn't help. As a neighborhood local, I finally stopped by Three Fifty for breakfast and coffee on a Saturday morning--and I can't believe it took me so long to visit! I arrived around 10:30 AM to find the cafe unexpectedly packed, with a line and no available tables. The inside of the shop was cute and clean. I tried the Bacon and Cheddar Quiche, a Blueberry Scone, and an Iced Latte. Everything was well-made and exceeded my expectations. The quiche was rich, buttery, and flavorful, while the blueberry scone was soft, subtly sweet, and refreshingly free of any glaze. This cafe definitely has the cleanest bathrooms and feels like home with several couches. The lighting is great and outdoor seating is available with good views. Quick and attentive service with pastries that are not sweet is a plus. One downside is that there are no outlets so bring your electronics fully charged. read more

We used to love 350 but since it's moved to its new location the pastries aren't as good. I've tried the chocolate croissant, quiche, and scone, all on different occasions, and each had preparation issues, mainly all three were underbaked. The quiche also seemed pretty greasy, which was really disappointing because I used to loved their veggie quiche. read more

I've been obsessed with Three Fifty since they moved to their new location on 17th St. The area feels much more fitting for them and it's my perfect excuse to trek to DuPont since moving to Navy Yard. Their coffee and baked goodies are superb and menu highlights include: cold brew, iced green tea, hazelnut cappuccino, and the spongiest zucchini banana bread you'll ever have. As you can see in the picture the scone was great! It's crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Our barista was nice and it's a very relax place. There's plenty of the space outdoor. What a delicious little bakery! Perfect on a cold, crisp morning. Food: We ordered a spiced chai latte and a London Fog. They have substitutions to regular milk including oat and almond which we both got. The drinks were hot and tasty. I've had the mushroom quiche before and I love it so much that people bring some for me when they come to visit! Service: Very quick and very efficient service. I noticed that the cashier also spoke Spanish for customers who needed that. This place was busy but the line never lingered -- everyone was in and out in a rapid fashion. So excited Three Fifty has re-opened! The scones are delicious (and huge), my friend had their quiche too and enjoyed it. Was visiting DC and needed a good coffee fix. Ordered their vanilla latte and a pumpkin muffin. Latte was really good, not too weak or too strong and just the right amount of foam. Pumpkin muffin was the best muffin I've ever had! It was moist, sweet, and very comforting. I highly recommend it. Inside is not open for seating so definitely take it on the go. There are some Benches outside but really it's just best to take out. The neighborhood around is super cute and a great place to walk around. read more

Grabbed breakfast at this quaint little cafe Sunday after church and so glad we did. They had a big variety of baked good especially scones which I love. I decided to get a ginger one while my husband got a jalapeño poblano one. Both were delicious. We also tried a strawberry which was so fluffy and moist. Absolutely yummy! For drinks I got a London Fog latte which was very good. My husband got a caramel latte and enjoyed it as well. I definitely recommend and will return. I came here on a rainy day with a friend who lives next door. The coffee was pretty good- nothing super stunning but much better than a lot of random coffee shops I've had. They were also very friendly despite the fact that we raced over only 20 minutes before it closed, which was a relief. I got a caramel latte and enjoyed that it was sweet without being too much so. I do think it was a little low on the milk ratio for being a latte, but the espresso was decent quality. My friends also enjoyed the lavender syrup and said it was some of their favorite lavender syrup they have had since it wasn't overly artificial like a lot of other lavender syrups in other places. read more

I previously posted about a terrible customer service experience at this place, not to mention a terrible cappuccino. The owner reached out to apologize and asked if I would try again now that the staffing situation had been addressed, and I did so this week. I was greeted by a perfectly pleasant barista who made me a really nice cappuccino. More than anything, I think it speaks volumes that the owner reached out. I greatly appreciate that. Established in 2014.

Although we officially opened the Bakery in August of 2014, this has been a dream and passion of ours for many years. After a search throughout various neighborhoods in DC, we finally found the perfect location in Dupont Circle/Adams Morgan in the Fall of 2012. The build-out was a long process but we wanted to take the time to truly capture the vision of our Bakery by providing a warm, welcoming, and family friendly environment.

Meet the Business Owner: Michael G.

After years working in finance, Michael always wanted to open his own business. His partner is a baker, so they decided to open a bakery in 2014. Michael takes pride in the quality of the products Three Fifty sells, as well as the great customer service. He hopes you have such a wonderful experience that you'll keep coming back!

They are open until 1 PM on Saturdays, we reached at around 11:30 AM and I was half hoping for them to be out of most items. Fortunately, even though they were super packed, we were able to find all of the items we were looking for - thanks to the hard working staff as they continue to make their pastries until closing - unlike so many other bakeries these days that make a certain amount and call it a day! Now to the food, everything we had was absolutely phenomenal! I am not a donut person but I loved theirs as they were very flavorful and weren't too sweet. I definitely prefer their Ube and Pandan over the Black sesame donut. The Matcha chocolate croissant and the Ube Kouign Amann were my favorites of the bunch! I cannot recommend them enough, this will surely be my first stop every time I am in DC!

We ended up picking out four of their pastries and coffee drinks to have breakfast on-site as a family. In our typical tradition, we cut everything into fourths and the whole family tries every pastry (everyone wins... ;). We thoroughly enjoyed both the savory and sweet (chocolate) options. I could see how this would be an acquired taste for some. I loved being able to peak into the kitchen to see the big oven and where all the magic happens. I also appreciated their sweet neighborhood location and the big windows offering lots of natural light. Overall, a positive and tasty experience.

The looks The building itself is so cute on the outside, and being a fan of the color pink, it instantly caught my attention. Inside, it feels less like a fast, high volume bakery and more like an intimate cake boutique. It gives small town where the owners know you by your first name. You can feel that real love was put into the space and the baking. Tasted like every ingredient was hand mixed, every cake hand frosted, and every cookie carefully hand scooped. They even served my slice of coconut cake on a real plate, which was such a cute, bourgeois touch that I loved. 2. Service The hospitality here is top-notch. On my first visit, yes you heard me! Lol! The gentleman Eric who rang me up was incredibly knowledgeable about all the different cookie and cake flavors. I ended up returning the very next day, and although he wasn't there, the other two staff members working which included Mikaela were absolutely delightful and so kind. The young lady told me her daughter loves the carrot cake as well and Mikaela said they started working there because they loved the patties so much! 3. The Cakes -Coconut Cake: This slice was so delicious, fluffy, and airy that it instantly reminded me of being a kid at holiday family meals with a fresh coconut cake on the table. -Carrot Cake: It was everything you want a carrot cake to be. It was nice and dense yet soft, with a pleasant texture from the added fruits. Definitely noticed pineapple bits! The cream cheese frosting wasn't overly thick and was so good you could eat it completely by itself. -Strawberry Cupcakes: I stole a small bite of my son's. unfortunately, this one was my least favorite. The frosting had a little chemical taste to it but it was a super cute cupcake. To answer your question, will I return? Absolutely! Everyone shares one long Sultan Breakfast table, making it easy to meet new people over incredible food. If you see one of these events, book it. It's absolutely worth it. The Sultan Breakfast was outstanding and there was so much food. The value for the price is incredible. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and I especially appreciated that many of the traditional meat dishes use beef rather than pork. As someone who doesn't eat pork, that made it easy to enjoy nearly everything on the table. One of the unexpected highlights was learning more about the culture. Another guest at our table was from Türkiye, and she shared that breakfast is traditionally enjoyed before coffee. Once I knew that, it completely reset my expectations. Instead of wondering where the coffee was, I got to enjoy an amazing, leisurely breakfast first. There was a little confusion at the end about whether coffee was included with our event, but the staff quickly sorted it out, and we finished with Turkish coffee and a piece of Turkish delight. It ended up being the perfect ending to the meal. I also learned that the owners have family roots in Azerbaijan, which makes a lot of sense once you see the menu. While the restaurant describes itself as Mediterranean, the flavors and breakfast traditions are distinctly Turkish and Azerbaijani, and it is wonderfully authentic.

I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. My friend got a coffee and also enjoyed that! This is the perfect place to stop by for a treat if you make it in time!

It's a rather quaint and cute Azerbaijani bakery and as I was window shopping all the cakes and baklavas, someone across the counter says "let me know if you have any questions" and I look up to see an angelic beautiful woman (this does not affect my rating haha) but I guess I wasn't expecting to see that. Anyway, she went through explaining various pastries and had a couple Turkish ones as well. I went with a pistachio baklava and a slice of honey cake. Honestly, I wanted to try all the cakes and even though they say honey cake is their most popular, there were a few that looked more appetizing. However, slightly convinced by the one other customer there eating her slice of honey cake, I decided to try it. I've only had honey cake once before so I won't act like I know what's best but that time the layers were thinner which I prefer but I like how it wasn't overly sweet despite it being honey forward. The baklava was one of the best, but I probably say that about most baklavas.

But now I suggest that Sharbat is a bakery for people who think they don't like baklava. My friends finally persuaded me to try some, and oh man is it good. It's nothing like the baklava I know. Perhaps because it is made Azerbaijani style - at the eastern end of Turkish culinary reach. It is more cakey and less sweet. But still plenty sweet, with a nice nutty crunch. I don't know whether to kiss or curse my friends for turning me on to this, but now I know. And now so do you.
