We had a 4 pm reservation for the early bird special. We we promptly seated. Water and bread arrived . Our "waiter" Lance came over for our drink order. Soup or salad is included. We asked to upgrade the soup to the French onion soup. No problem ( caused they charged full price and didn't say he would need to charge full price) . We never would have agreed to pay $13 for soup that had no onions. I asked for an opinion between the New York steak and the salmon. Lance couldn't paise the New York steak enough. I ordered it. I hate to say this, but....go to Katherines. Always a great experience. Gregorys has been hit or miss since the new grand opening. Took out of town guests there a few nights ago. Waited 1 1/2hours and food was room temperature and bland. They've done a tremendous job of making the place look amazing. Happened to go to Gregory's after the Bruce Springsteen show and got there around 8:30. Despite the restaurant closing at 9:00 we sat at the bar and just had a few cocktails and Erick was the most amazing bartender ever. He knew his liquors and was so very attentive even though he probably wanted to go home. He was outstanding. read more

Very mediocre. Trying hard to be a "Las Vegas Steakhouse". Overpriced but under delivered. The service staff is very friendly and helpful, but the food is mediocre at best. Been waiting for the reopening of the restaurant. Have been a customer for years and made reservations with Open Table several weeks in advance. When checking in was advised no shorts allowed in the new dining area. would have to be seated in the old bar section. Absolutely no advance noticed of this new dress code rule. Felt as though it was the second class seating section. The new bread service is very good. The entree, prime rib was very tasty. We travel to Mesquite about 6 times a year to visit a family member. Our routine is dinner at Gregory's. I love this place and it is definitely one of my all time favorite restaurants. We live in So Cal and have dined at some of the best steak places in Los Angeles and OC such as Morton's, Mastro, Lawrys and more but hands down, the prime rib at Gregory's is the best prime rib I have ever had. It is awesome. They are consistent in their quality of food, sides are always great, service consistently great and honestly even their blue cheese dressing is the best I have ever had. I would buy it if I could. They recently did a renovation in the restaurant and it is classy cool. The ambiance is old school brat pack feel. We loved it. The renovation could compete with restaurants in Bev Hills and Newport Beach. We're returning in March and can't wait!! read more

This kind of place isn't typically a go-to for me. But we were in town for a bachelor party and wanted to do something special so we made a reservation here. We had a large group so they sat us in a different area from the rest of the restaurant. The staff was really nice and helpful. The food was alright, I think my favorite thing was the mashed potatoes. I didn't have any but if I ever go back I'd try the lobster mac & cheese. It's also all very expensive! read more

We live in Vegas and are spending a long weekend in Mesquite. Before we left, we looked up restaurants to go to, and Gregory's had really good reviews. Showered, dressed nicely, and left to make our reservation. Except... They're closed for renovations and won't be open until sometime in September. Been going to Eureka casino for many years now and finally tried Gregory's Mesquite Grill. Was greeted by a friendly young lady and service was fantastic! There were 8 of us and ordered different items. My favorites were the lobster bisque, the seared ahi tuna which was exemplary scrumptious and the salmon was cooked to perfection since I'm quite picky how my salmon is cooked. Absolutely delicious! Went for our wedding anniversary. Steak was descent but extremely thin. Never saw such a thing cut served at a steakhouse. French onion soup was sad..very salty too. Asparagus was burnt as well. There was a large party of obnoxious (probably all single) guys at a table near us who ruined our dinner with their loud mouths and cursing. Would have been nice if they were told to pipe down by the staff, but of course that didn't happen...we just took our food to go. read more

This is one of the fancy steakhouses in Mesquite, it's located in the Eureka hotel and casino. I had the prime rib and crab. The prime rib was very good, very juicy and flavorful. The crab was just ok, nothing to brag about. The service was very good and attentive and the staff was very friendly. Not the best fancy steakhouse meal that I've had but it's pretty good. read more

Food? Fantastic! Service? Fantastic! The ribeye and prime rib were excellent. A little chintzy on the mashed potatoes, though. The vegetable medley was a little boring too. Our issue was a table of about 12 that was SO LOUD we had to literally shout to the couple with us. We asked the hostess twice to speak to them, which she did, but her comment was that they had 'had a reservation for a year' as if that meant they were more important than the rest of the restaurant customers. We expected to at least be compensated for part of our bill, but not even that until we insisted. For the standard of the restaurant, I'd expect better. Excellent food and service here. The early bird specials are a great value, they don't compromise the quality of the meal at all just because it's a special. The regular menu is fabulous and the atmosphere is elegant and relaxed at the same time. Tip: Enter at the doors that are farthest from the hotel side of the casino. This entrance puts you closer to Gregory's so you don't have to walk through quite so much smoky casino. read more

Fine dining at its best! We had a fantastic dinner here. My gin and tonic was made perfectly, and the red wine was classic. We tried the scallop appetizer, the shrimp and fettuccine, the NY strip steak, and the petite fillet. Everything was cooked perfectly and super delicious. The service was excellent, with perfectly timed delivery for every course, and prompt attention to a drink just finished. An intermezzo of raspberry sorbet was served prior to the main courses, which was delicious and tasteful. A little pricy, but we were lucky to get the early bird special which also included a beverage, and lemon cake for dessert, which was delightful. (And I typically do not like lemon). You know when your food is served with an orchid, its special. Overall, it was a great experience with great food! read more

We came to mesquite for a golf trip with the boys and the dinner at Gregory's could have easily been the highlight. The martinis, steaks and atmosphere were spot on. But here it was so tender, not chewy or sinewy. Perfectly seared, still rare all the way through. Really great seasoning with a nice toasty flavor. It was special. The ribeye with excellent. Again, very tender and good char flavor. Paired with an gratin potatoes it was pretty rich and luxurious. The salad with fresh blue cheese dressing and crumbles was a nice compliment, as was the peach sorbet palate cleanser between dishes. Service was attentive and genuine.
