    The Berry Me!
    Jerel L.

It's changed our lives dramatically for the better! Mi kids are pumped every Saturday to go to the farmers market and have breakfast from the Biscuit Bus! The classic biscuits and gravy is of course a favorite, but my kids also love the "Berry Me" with strawberries too. Which is delicious, but not quite as good as the one with bananas and Nutella. That is a taste of heaven. Highly recommend!

The reason for the 3 stars instead of 5 is fully on the service and not the food. We were there 1.5 hours with no wait to get seated, but once seated we waited 15 minutes before the waiter came to check on us. If they had been busy I would have understood but we were one of two tables in the restaurant at that time. Once the waitress came and took our order we waited forever to get our food. I think there was only one person back running the kitchen. The food was really good but considering how long it took to get our drinks and our food I give it 3 stars. The waiter was never around when we needed refills or had questions. I would like to return but I'm hesitant at the moment.

I came here because I wanted to try funeral potatoes and I was not disappointed at all! A lot of the food sounded really good and I had trouble picking. Luckily, my partner picked a dish and I picked a different dish and both were just great. Shout out to the family business (server was one of the owner's sons) and all the lovely cheesy unhealthy food !!

Wrong, she chowed the whole thing. You had choice of soup or salad so I got the salad while the wife got the bison chili Something got messed up and all the food came out together. Waitress said app ticket didn't get put in or something. Only hiccup in an otherwise fantastic meal Had a little coffee to end the night. Always a great experience here

How do you mess up a simple cocktail?…read more For the last night in St. George, we decided to go to one of my parents' favorite places. The food is great. Based on that alone, I would give this place a 5, but unfortunately, everything else was below par. The service was slow, as was every other restaurant in St. George. I ordered a Manhattan, and lo and behold, I received some type of smoked old fashioned. When I asked for a new one, Dom, our waiter, said, "Sure, but you'll probably just get the same thing." That surprised me, and I was like, "Go talk to the bartender and see if they can make it." But Dom was pretty certain that, I'd get the same thing. So I ordered something else, and it came out fine. Dom, while new, was not a very good waiter and could use some more training in customer service and in cocktails. His attitude completely ruined the night.

It was an unexpected trip to St George Utah on Easter Sunday…read more Without any reservations at any restaurant, I have decided to stop by at Cracker Barrel. This place is located nearby the Convention Center in St George. Walked in and asked if it's a waiting time for a table. Hostess said "no, no waiting time" and I was seated immediately. Waitress came by, took my order. After a significant amount of time later, she appeared with my drink. I ordered the Strawberry Peach lemonade. Then, I was waiting for my dinner for a LONG time! It was pretty awkward, sitting by myself at the table. Luckily, I had my lemonade ... almost finished it and no refills ... I was thinking, how about if someone would be checking on me if I needed anything else to drink or maybe say something why my dinner was delayed more than 40 minutes ... well, nobody bothered. Hated to ask another waitress to come over and help me out to check on my food! Finally, my waitress showed up and asked me if I needed anything. Of course! I needed my dinner!!! Shortly after this conversation, she walked back to the kitchen and few minutes later I had my plate front of me. Sadly, the items were not fully heated up, at least not for my liking. My order was nothing extraordinary, it was the Easter Special: Ham and Turkey with mashed potatoes, green beans and stuffing. I ate most of it, except the stuffing. It was cold. I don't eat cold stuffing. Regardless, I paid for my meal and left. My waitress gave me a piece of pecan pie, sweetening my mood, before I left. Thank you! I just wanted a plate of food on Easter Sunday when I was on the road for work. That's all. It wasn't the best experience!

There are places you go... and then there are places that feel like you've finally come home…read more The Painted Pony is the latter. We adore slipping away for lunch and settling onto the patio, where the world softens--shade drapes gently overhead, birds sing as if they've been hired just for the occasion, and time... well, time slows down enough to breathe. The service is nothing short of immaculate--attentive in that quiet, effortless way that makes you feel seen without ever being interrupted. And the food... oh, the food. The bacon-wrapped dates must have been crafted in heaven... or perhaps meant for the gods and somehow gifted to us. The tuna melt was so transcendent I found myself wondering if I had ever truly tasted tuna before... or if I had just been living a lesser version of the experience all along. And the beef bourguignon... my heavens. It was as if your grandmother--if she were also a five-star chef--had been waiting for you, simmering something rich and soulful to welcome you back after a long journey. Even the tea felt royal... and the mocktails were so delightful, so thoughtfully made, that not once did we miss the alcohol. The Painted Pony isn't just a meal... it's a return.
