We Three Wings - medium garlic, dry rub lemon pepper and dry rub Cajun with Nashville Hot sauce on the side.
    Joe S.

It was a cheat day and one of my favorite cheat day items is Chicken Wings! Who's with me? And this place has been on my radar for a while. I finally had the opportunity so I made the 20 minute trek. The wings were good. Really big, cooked perfectly, and the Medium Garlic was one of the best versions of Medium Garlic I've had. The dry rub fell a little short. Both the Lemon Pepper and Cajun were a little light with the rub and it seemed to be a bit over-charred. I like char as much as the next guy, but this was a tad over. I'm super glad I got the Nashville Hot Sauce on the side. It would have ruined my wings completely. It wasn't that spicy, no flavor of Nashville hot, and a little too sweet. The 99c upcharge for 2 Oz was worth it to NOT ruin the wings. They need to rename it. There were two people working and they were killing in. The waitress was taking phone orders, restaurant orders, and refilling drinks like a champ. The cook was dropping wings left and right and turning out delicious looking sandwiches. Next time I see terrible service somewhere, I know that being short-staffed isn't necessarily an excuse. Thanks for stepping it up here. I appreciate it. The wings were good, but sadly not the best in Orlando. They're a good value for the wing size and I may return JUST for the Medium Garlic.

So I got teriyaki, garlic Parmesan, hot honey garlic and lemon pepper wings. The garlic Parmesan was the best. The other flavors left much to be desired because the seasonings they used, tasted very cheap. The only positive for me was that the wings were big and meaty. A lot places I've been to use small wings. But still, I've had better wings and fries elsewhere. The restaurant was pretty old looking on this inside and the service was ok.

The wings (hot honey garlic) and fried gator bites (cajun mustard) were good. If you order all flats it will be a $3 upcharge. This was supposed to be a medium curly fry but they did season them well so im not mad at the crinkle cut fries. Sweet tea was not sweet at all.

One of the most amazing wing places I have stopped by. Anyone can see/taste the difference in ingredients/flavors between a mom'n'pop's shop (a family owned business), and a franchise (concerned with money only). At Greg's, the wings are a specific size, which gives them a distinctive flavor. The sauces are made in-home, the onion rings also have a distinctive flavor, the celery is not cut like uniform Lego pieces. But most important, everything is fresh! So, step into this humble restaurant with some of the most amazing wings in town, if not the whole country. TIP: Friday/Saturday brings in the crowds and the quality drops, so go early on those days or just don't go. Every other day is magic.

    Hot Wings

They really do have the best wing in Orlando! Crispy, juicy, and flavorful! Highly recommend. :)

Place has been here for 20 years. Some of the best wings in town. It's a small place inside. I got cajun chicken breast sandwich which I enjoyed. Could have had more cajun but I was happy. Also got hot wings and yum. I would get them more often if they was closer.

    Great fresh curly fries

Greg's is a great little diamond in the rough wing place that has been here 20 years. It's family-owned and it shows. Attentiveness to great service and fresh ingredients make you feel like you're not wanting for anything other than just a great meal.

To be honest, I don't remember what I got for dessert, I think it was toffee cake or bread, pudding or something? It was very good though, my husband got the Keylime and he was jealous of my dessert. We started with the She Crab Soup, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Dirty Rice Entrée, and wow--what an explosion of flavors! It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. To top it all off, we enjoyed a frothy cappuccino served with a rock candy sugar stick--a beautiful finishing touch. The food, presentation, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. We can't say enough good things about our experience and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!

It was really fresh and it was a nice pallet cleanser after the brussel sprouts. For my entree, I ordered the Alabama chicken. I was excited because my friend ordered this last time and I really liked it. I was underwhelmed this time. The chicken was a little dry and the fried Mac and cheese was really dry. Each of the 11 courses were very good. Standouts were: the foie gras torchon over caramelized blueberries, the octopus (which was so tender and delectably grilled), and that glorious black truffle butter that was served with charcoal bread as part of the charcuterie. The written menu (attached) is not very descriptive, but each course has complex, multiple layers. Unfortunately, my partner had a migraine which worsened significantly about halfway through, which caused her to completely lose her appetite. The staff was extremely kind and understanding, boxing up the remaining courses to go. For a simple meal for two people, the service was unreasonably slow throughout the evening. Our server, Svet, was polite and personable, but friendliness alone could not make up for the delays. The hummus appetizer was excellent and was easily the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful and served with pita, cucumbers, carrots, and red peppers. The food presentation overall was attractive and showed promise. The most serious issue occurred when my son ordered a refill of his virgin mojito and was served a drink containing alcohol. He immediately noticed something was wrong after taking a sip and handed it to me. I tasted it as well and confirmed that it contained alcohol. Serving alcohol in a child's drink is a significant mistake and should never happen. We also ordered the steak frites based on a recommendation and were told it was exceptional. Unfortunately, the steak was extremely tough and chewy, making it difficult to eat and far from what was described. Management apologized and removed the steak from the bill, but the combination of excessive wait times, the alcohol mix-up involving a minor, and the disappointing entrée left a poor overall impression.

I know there are a few locations but we planned to stop at this location specifically during a last min birthday staycation (but not *on* my brthday) If you look online this routinly is on lists of date night and good group dining spots and there will inevitably be a ton of people in the comments complaining about it being "mid" or "basic" but that wasn't our experience at all. We had a great experience here. We initially booked for the first time of our staycation but called last min to push back a few days as I wasn't feeling very well. It was no issue at all and they changed our reservation without issue or complaints & wished me well. The space is really cool. MCM in design with a touch of California beach bungalow. We were seated in a back room with a view of the lake behind. It was a bit loud but most places are these days. I am deaf in one of my ears so one I told our server & she spoke up over the noise and it was a non-issue. Appreciated because that's not always the case. We ordered a glass of wine and the "Shirley After Dark" cocktail (I know it's a wine bar but I just felt like a cocktail) loved it. Would absolutely order it again. We ordered the house salad which was far from basic and delicious and fresh. Very light and decent size. My husband also aired the Cauliflower app which was massive. The hummus was delicious. I'm not a fan of cauliflower but he raved about it. We also split the Butchers Pizza and had them out the hot honey on the side. I can't do spice after destroying my stomach in college so they brought me a side of normal honey so I could hector full flavor profile within my dietary needs. We got to speaking with our server whose name I unfortunately can't remember (light blonde shoulder length hair if management reads this) & she was very knowledgeable about the wine selection. We're not white wine drinkers but the FL heat is a little too much for a glass of red most days so we're trying to get into it. She had 3 recommendations and brought me all three to taste. Unfortunatly I enjoyed was sold out by the time we ordered it (which at the height of tourist summer isn't beyond the realm of reasonability) We then ordered the affogato and olive oil cake. Both were delicious. It was my husband's first time trying an affogato and it has since become a favorite of his. It was mentioned in passing while chatting that we were in a last min staycation as it was my birthday week and we didn't plan anything in advance and made it clear it was not my birthday but she still comped my cocktail and the olive oil cake and wrote a lighthearted "sorry we were out of the wine" on our receipt. Which was a genuinely nice & unexpected gesture. The entire meal was quite affordable even before anything got comped compared with other options of the same caliber in the area. Portons are quite large as well. While I don't love communal tables typically, almost no one was seated at the same table and if they were it was quite far apart (see photos). I can see that being bothersome on a busy night but we were there on a summer night (busy enough to run out of a wine) so I can't imagine it being typically worse than that So I say again, I don't understand what people don't like about this place. We'll be back.
